Lovely place, no king bed

Was a very lovely place to stay, but the other review was correct, there are no king beds in this condo and the "Murphy bed" is a rollaway kept in the closet of the second bedroom. A couple cleanliness concerns: the coffeepot was moldy (we didn't use it) and there was garbage in the cans in the garage. The smell in the garage was unbelievable when we arrived. Cleaning staff might want to be a little more careful. We had a little trouble getting the heat to turn on and the "after hours" number didn't answer. Fortunately we figured it out on our own. Couldn't get the fireplace to work either. Terrific neighborhood, very quiet, beautiful park right across the street. Plenty of space for my family, very comfortable (other than squishing into the queen bed...) lots of towels and sheets and convenient laundry facilities in the garage. Next time I would be tempted to find a place that actually had a king bed, however.

Our week's stay at this property was very enjoyable for us (2 couples). The location is ideal, being close to shopping, near Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Laguna Beach, etc., and central for our visits to San Diego and LA. The unit was clean and accurately reflected in the listing and the rental process was seamless. We definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in this area and hope to return in the future.
Owner response:We are happy you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your return in the future Thank you Lucy

This was our first trip to Irvine and we were very pleased with this condo. The property was as described in the listing. The beds were comfortable and there was an abundant supply of towels, sheets, dishes, etc. The owners were very accommodating with any issues that arose. I had to call them about florescent lights in the kitchen that went out and they immediately came and replaced them. It is convenient to everything. There is an Albertsons and a gas station right around the corner; a beautiful park nearby, very close to I-405, the airport, the beaches. We enjoyed shopping on Balboa Island in Newport Beach and Irvine Spectrum, driving the Pacific Coast Highway down to Laguna Beach, going to the "Wedge" near the jetties, Inspiration Point in Corona Del Mar and you definitely have to stop at the Shake Shack on the way to Laguna Beach for a great shake and great view. If we are in the Irvine area again, we would definitely stay in this condo if available.

The property listing was incorrect in that there was no king bed in the unit nor a muprhy bed. The photos reflect the property as correct. Property was clean, the pool clean, grounds beautiful, property very quiet. No batteries for the DVD player so had to return unseen rental DVD. We had no instructions as to when to put the garbage cans out and found garbage in our garbarge can when we arrived on a Saturday! Location is perfect for driving to Disneyland and to Newport Beach. There are adaquate dishes, glassware, silverware, lots of towels, washer and dryer a plus. Loved the area "courtyard" between the kitchen and garage. Might have owners leave complete instructions on how to use the TV in the living room. Would stay in this unit again even knowing there is no king bed. I would recommend this property to friends A nice area for the children to play outside.

This condo was an excellent size for our needs with great location right off Highway 405. It has a nice pool area and park close to the condo. It has excellent storage and shelf space within the condo. We appreciated the supplies provided such as dishes, utensils, towels and linens. We would stay again if available.
