It sits on Santa Rosa Sound and has a breathtaking view of the bay. You will enjoy beautiful sunsets and have great fun watching the boat traffic go by. The world’s most beautiful beach is only a five minute walk where you have access to a great public park, beachfront restaurants and all the beach amenities for a perfect day of fun.

What makes Barefoot Bay special is the private boat slip that comes with the unit. Your personal watercraft will open the door to the best fishing and boating in the world. Boat all day and stop at one of the many restaurants that provide boat access. Take a short 15 minute boat ride to Crab Island to enjoy the sun, shimmering emerald water and glistening sugary sand with hundreds of other boaters. Don’t forget your floats, frisbees, kites and lounge chairs. There are two marinas and a county park with a free boat landing and full facilities all within a quarter of a mile.

Okaloosa Island is off the beaten path and out of the hustle and bustle and congested traffic.   • We had such a wonderful time at the condo. We stayed there for over a week, and I have not been this relaxed in a while. It is right on the water, and all we had to do is roll out of bed, jump in the boat and we were off fishing, cruising, or just playing on crab island (I strongly suggest visiting crab island!) We went to several restaurants that were right on the water, and the people there were very friendly. I read the other comments, and have to say, this condo is like going to my own beach house and is well kept and very clean! I give this condo an A++++ and plan to make it there every year.

  • Another great week at Barefoot Bay! We had a blast! The weather, water and sunsets were beautiful. So relaxing sitting on the patio in the evenings. This has become our vacation spot each year and will be for years to come.

  • Another great week at Barefoot Bay! We had some great walks on the beach; some “cool” rides on the sound in our boat; and some of the finest dining in the area. A beautiful view of the sunset from the balcony and watching the boats cruise by is hypnotic; we didn’t want to leave! We hope to visit again soon.

  • This was a great place to stay as it was close to Destin and Ft. Walton, but out of the main traffic flow. It is located on the bay with a beautiful view and also within walking distance of the beach. The condo is well furnished and very clean. It is a very comfortable and above average unit with all the expected amenities.
