Lake and home located in HAYESVILLE, North Carolina - BORDERS HIAWASSEE, Georgia. COMPLETE PRIVACY... LAKEFRONT HOME ON THREE ACRES AND ON LAKE CHATUGE with scenic mountains located near HIGHWAY 64. Explore 132 miles of shoreline from North Carolina to Georgia! Home located on the Hayesville, NC side of the lake, only 15 minutes away by car from Hiawassee, Georgia.

Home has two complete houses - ONLY THE BOTTOM IS FOR RENTALS. THE TOP WILL NOT BE OCCUPIED DURING YOUR STAY. NO PETS, NO SMOKING, NO ATVS.

Large patio facing the lake, Great Room has large windows looking towards lake and mountains. Home is surrounded by the Nantahala National Forrest and the Great Smoky Mountains.

Master bedroom has king bed, full bath and sliding glass door facing the lake. Second bedroom has two twin beds with access to the large full bath. Third bedroom has two bunk beds with twin top beds and double bottom beds also connecting to the second bath. Great room has 2 large couches, 2 love seats, and game/dining table. Linens and towels included. Good idea would be to bring beach towels for lake use. Full eat-in kitchen with utensils, garbage disposal, dishwasher, microwave and laundry room.

The Georgia Mountain Fair is five miles away offering country music shows, crafts, and rides. Only two hours from Atlanta, Asheville, Chattanooga, Greenville and Gatlinburg.

The famous Alpine Village of Helen, Georgia is a 45 minute drive. Experience the near by Nantahala National forest and the Appalachian Trail.

The Cherokee Indian Reservation, Harrah's Casino, and Indian Village are two hours away. In Bryson City enjoy whitewater rafting on the Nantahala River a short 45 minutes drive from the house.

The Ocoee River Olympic Whitewater Rafting site is 1 1/2 hours away in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Within minutes from the house you have: golf courses, horseback riding stables, jet-ski and pontoon boat rentals, Chatuge Dam, Blue Ridge Parkway entrance, Fires Creek Recreational Area waterfalls and marinas for water sport rentals.

The Great Smoky Mountain Railway has day tours with stations in Andrews, Bryson City, or Dillsboro and all are within a 45 minute to one hour drive.

Jack Rabbit Mountain Campground is on the other side of the lake on the NC side.

Summertime rodeos, bass fishing, and fly Rainbow Trout fishing will round out your Chatuge Lake and Smoky Mountain experience to make you want to come back again.
