  The house is lovely, exceeded our expectations plus it has everything! Games, books, movies, pool floaties, all the household stuff - dishes, towels, sheets, etc. The pool is fenced which gave it a bit of a windbreak when the beach was windy. The beach is only 1/2 block away, just across the street. Shopping is a short walk away; groceries, as well as cute beach shops. You can use it as a base for further sightseeing. We loved staying here. I would highly recommend this house and will stay here again in the future.

  This is our second stay at Marla & Darrell's beach house. We cannot use enough superlatives to describe this place. Every thing you can think of needing while on a beach vacation (down to an ipod dock with speakers!) is here. A short walk to a beautiful beach, private, heated pool, it has it all.

  We loved this house - clean, well equipped (there is more than in the description), close to the beach, restaurants, shops and so on. There are loads of games at the house, more pool/beach towels than you could ever use. Our teens loved the pool. The owners are easy to contact and really helpful, we would stay here again without hesitation

  This is a great house! More than what we expected. Brought teenage girls with us and they loved everything, especially being able to go back and forth from the beach to the pool easily all day. Lots of great parks close by. Husband fished everyday. There are a ton of games and beach stuff at the house which is perfect so you dont have to buy or bring anything. Owners are very nice and you can contact them easily. WE WOULD DEFINETLY COME BACK

  My family and I stayed here in July, and it could not have been more perfect! Absolutely everything we needed was there, and the pool came in very hand with the VERY HOT weather. The house was immaculate, and was within walking distance to the beach. New Smyrna is a great place to vacation, and we will definitely rent from the Nance's again. Thanks for a great time!!!

  Short walk to the beach. Great pool area. Well stocked with paper and other essentials. Comfortable home and well maintained.

  Best place to stay! Have to cross a street to reach beach but with sidewalk and cross walk it was no big deal. It was worth it to have your own pool if the beach was crowded or just to relax next too. Had everything we forgot and awesome amenities. Thanks for a great week!

  Yes we recommend, good location and everything close We fish,explore all area,and we saw from this location the space shuttle(perfect),white sand ,dalphin...wow ...every year we want come back.....Janet

  This house had all we could want...locaction, privacy, one level, pool, all clean! It truly is a home away from home. So far the best vacation we have had. Thank you Marla and Darrell. Keep up the good work. We will be back.

  We have been going to New Smyrna for years for vacation and typically have stayed in condos. This was our first time renting a house for the week in June. We will never stay in a condo again....My daughter loved the toys and books they had. It was so nice to just walk outside to the pool and not have to carry all the towels etc. down to the pool from a highrise condo. The house is beautifully decorated and so roomy. They had so many nice touches such as the towels, linens, movies and games for the kids. We had a great time!!!
