New Smyrna Beach is a quaint town with many amenities within walking/biking distance. These include great restaurants and shopping, and is highlighted by its world-famous beaches, many of which can be driven upon (and some that cannot).
Our property is a spacious, one-level, house less than a block away from the beach with a nice circular drive for ample parking. The home offers an open living room and kitchen area, a separate dining room, and a linen room with washer/dryer and a folding/hang-up area. Most importantly, the home features a Florida room that overlooks and opens onto the pool deck.
In addition to the SOLAR HEATED pool, the unit's back yard has ample room for boat or trailer parking, and an outside shower, all within the 6' privacy fence, providing total seclusion. The pool has a smaller wading pool perfect for kids or justing sitting and relaxing in the water (see photos).
The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom with shower, and opens onto the pool deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. These two bedrooms share a central hall bathroom. All three bedrooms along with the Florida room have TV's.
The house is fully furnished with dishes, linen's, and towels. Beach chairs and coolers are provided for your traveling convenience (but you will need to bring your own suntan lotion!!).
The house is located on the west side of Atlantic Highway, directly across from a beach walkover, See link to map.
New Smyrna Beach is in close proximity to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and St Augustine, all a little more than an hour away. Kennedy Space Center, Daytona Speedway, the Ponce Inlet Light House, and SunCruz Casino Cruize Lines are but a half hour away. Local ferries conduct tours by water of the area's Intracoastal Waterway. Additionally, New Smyrna Beach is central to some of the world's greatest golf courses.
For the avid in-shore fisherman, marinas and boat ramps abound, and some of the best redfish and trout fishing in Florida is located just 10 miles south in the Mosquito lagoon. For the more daring, deep sea fishing charters are available in the New Smyrna/Ponce Inlet area.

This is our second stay at Marla & Darrell's beach house. We cannot use enough superlatives to describe this place. Every thing you can think of needing while on a beach vacation (down to an ipod dock with speakers!) is here. A short walk to a beautiful beach, private, heated pool, it has it all.

We loved this house - clean, well equipped (there is more than in the description), close to the beach, restaurants, shops and so on. There are loads of games at the house, more pool/beach towels than you could ever use. Our teens loved the pool. The owners are easy to contact and really helpful, we would stay here again without hesitation

This is a great house! More than what we expected. Brought teenage girls with us and they loved everything, especially being able to go back and forth from the beach to the pool easily all day. Lots of great parks close by. Husband fished everyday. There are a ton of games and beach stuff at the house which is perfect so you dont have to buy or bring anything. Owners are very nice and you can contact them easily. WE WOULD DEFINETLY COME BACK

My family and I stayed here in July, and it could not have been more perfect! Absolutely everything we needed was there, and the pool came in very hand with the VERY HOT weather. The house was immaculate, and was within walking distance to the beach. New Smyrna is a great place to vacation, and we will definitely rent from the Nance's again. Thanks for a great time!!!

Best place to stay! Have to cross a street to reach beach but with sidewalk and cross walk it was no big deal. It was worth it to have your own pool if the beach was crowded or just to relax next too. Had everything we forgot and awesome amenities. Thanks for a great week!

We have been going to New Smyrna for years for vacation and typically have stayed in condos. This was our first time renting a house for the week in June. We will never stay in a condo again....My daughter loved the toys and books they had. It was so nice to just walk outside to the pool and not have to carry all the towels etc. down to the pool from a highrise condo. The house is beautifully decorated and so roomy. They had so many nice touches such as the towels, linens, movies and games for the kids. We had a great time!!!

We stayed at Marla and Darrell's beach house the week of June 2-9. We typically go to the Keys for our vacation, but opted this year to stay closer to home. We are so glad that we did. The beach house was perfect!!!! Owners, Marla and Darrell were so nice and so accomodating. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
