I recently stayed here for a 3 night getaway in July. My husband and I loved the cabin and thought it was well maintained and very clean. The beds were cozy and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The back porch is perfect for early morning coffee and late evening cocktails. The only improvement that could be made is for central air to be added or more window AC units. The one unit in the living area wasn't enough to make a dent in the 90 degree heat. There are lots of attractions in the area to enjoy, we spent our days hiking Buffalo Mountain, visiting farmers markets and country stores on the blue ridge parkway, and enjoying live bluegrass music at Mill House Pizza which is with in walking distance from the cabin. Best Pizza I've ever had! Other than the temperature, we enjoyed our stay tremendously and hope to make it an annual retreat. Thank you for a wonderful rental!

Mike, Thanks for providing one of the nices cabin I have ever stayed in, It was truely super. Could not ask to find a cleaner nicer well equiped place to stay. This was add to by a special treat of "Rain on the roof" on Sunday Morning before we came home. A great place for privacy and relaxation. It is located so near many thing to do and the folks in Meadows of Dan are 100% Southern Hospitality. Help us find our way around, event to attend. Simply a great place to go .....we Will be back. The cabin was very nice and very well maintained. We found it clean and tidy with most of anything you could need to enjoy our time. The views around the property are wonderful. The cabin was actually much larger then it appeared from the outside (and in the photos). The kitchen was well suited for cooking and preparing meals (the appliances are all new) but you might need a few extra bowls. It was quiet and peaceful even though there are other cabins around the property. The ice cream parlor is out of business. The pizza joint is only open on Fri and Sat. The cabin is less than 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you are looking for a quiet getaway - this is a great place!
