We had a wonderful week in cottage 14. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5, including my husband, myself, and 3 young boys. We enjoyed grilling beside the pool while the boys swam each evening. The beach was just a short walk across the street and we loved all the shelling! The water was also very shallow which allowed for the boys to have a great time in the water. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The laundry room was also nice to have and it was never a wait to do our laundry. We will be returning !!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful weekend we had at Blue Waters! The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. We were able to bring our dog which we were so happy about. It was great to BBQ next to the pool! We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Water Cottage. The photos were accurate and the 2 Bd cottage was clean, comfortable, and decorated beautiful. It really reflects the Florida charm with an updated kitchen and the pool/patio areas were wonderful. We live locally and were celebrating our son's 18th Birthday and after we checked out we had a surprise party on Sunset Beach on Saturday afternoon. The parking across was ample and the shelter area was perfect for the party with his friends on the beach. We had a great getaway vacation and would recommend this beautiful location with the amazing Sunset Beach across the street. The property is well maintained and we noticed around the pool their were multiple areas to BBQ and for relaxing by the pool. We will be sharing this place with others looking for a beach getaway or vacation. Loved Blue Water Cottages and we will be back!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had called the week we were to arrive to make certain the cottage had a coffee maker and blow dryer. We were assured there were both. However, upon arrival on Saturday we could not find a blow dryer. We called the after hours number and left a message but never got a return call. We called again on Monday and finally a blow dryer was left that morning. The kitchen drawers were dirty with coffee grounds and onion peels. The linens were old and one towel was badly frayed. A pillow case had a stain that looked like blood. The floor of the shower was dirty and my wife had to clean it before we could use the shower. My wife called the cottage "shabby, not chic". The pool is small and children pretty much overtook the pool. We would never again pay the amount of $ for what we got. Very disappointing!Owner response: Blue Waters on Sunset Beach is a beautiful Florida style beach club. It under went a 1 million dollar renovation that features granite counter tops, custom cherry wood cabinets, glass top stoves with built in microwaves, bamboo floors and 12.5 foot vaulted ceilings. Each cottage is fully equipped for a carefree vacation. Occasionally a guest might accidently take home a hair dryer that they thought was theirs. Any time a guest calls with a concern, we respond immediately as we did in this case. When the guest called on Sunday, we let them know we could bring them a hairdryer on Monday morning and we did. Had we been informed about any other of this guest concerns we would have responded immediately, as we do have an onsite housekeeping team. We encourage our guest to alert us to any concerns they may have during their stay. This guest never indicated any issues during the whole time they stayed with us. Blue Waters Beach Club is a family friendly place and children playing in the swimming pool are welcome. We take pride in our properties and have returning guest that come year after year. Additionally the best playground on the whole Gulf Coast of Florida is across the street and a video of it can be seen on our blog. Each of these guests post stay expressions of concern have been thoroughly investigated and remediated.

Your cottage was wonderful, inside and out. Nice and clean and well decorated. Nice grill by the pool. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to resturants and stores. I just wanted to write and let everyone know how wonderful our stay was. The location was perfect as we had planned a beach wedding during our trip we were right across from the beach where were got married. Very quiet and friendly atmosphere, I was able to relax and enjoy the stay even with having two young children. The pool was great and the beach just right outside our front door. I was hesitant about the stay but I will be back again next vacation. It was absolutely perfectly hidden and quiet and yet close to everything! Our family stayed in 2 cottages for a week after Christmas. Our daughter got married on the beach and We were very well pleased with everything. The cottages were clean and very efficient to our needs. As the mother and grandmother who did some cooking I was please at how well stocked the kitchen was. We used most items in the kitchen. The courtyard was excellent and the grandchildren enjoy their time out in the sun, even had a day they could get in the pool. Our family was very pleased with everything and we will return again in the future. A big thank you to the rental agency for all their help!Did you find this review helpful? We stayed for 10 days last October 25th, 2009, and had only planned on staying 7 days, but liked the place so much we extended the stay. The facilities were great, and the staff were friendly and accomodating. We talked with the actual owner in regards to extending our stay, and found that he is very receptive to our requests. We had the 2 bedroon, 2 bathroom cottage. It was very clean, and everything was new and updated. The barbecue facilities, laundry room, and swiiming pool were great. Also the location is fabulous - just across from the beach, and very quiet, with wonderfull vistas. If you didn't want to make your own dinner, etc, you can walk up the beach, or roadway, to Caddy's, one of the local bars for great food and beverages. Once you turn onto Sunset Beach, it is like you are in another world - much like Key West. I would recommend the Blue Waters to anyone. The prices are reasonable, the facilities fantastic, and the location is heaven. We will be going back in the near future, for sure, and bringing some friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in the 2br cottage and thoughly enjoyed every minute. We have two small children and the cottage was perfect for us. The beach is a very short walk and in a very quiet area. The pool was fantastic and the kids had a great time. The facility is actually on Sunset beach which is a very quiet and non-comercial area of treasure island. We recently stayed at the Blue Water Beach Club and thouroughly enjoyed our visit. This place is great - all the amenities of home, beautiful finishing touches, close to the beach and away from all the hustle and bustle. The cottage has it all, the pool was perfect and very clean, the beach is across the street, and the location was convenient for our day trips throughout the area.
