LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! Our cabin sits on top of Cove Mountain with over 5 acres of land around it. So it is private and secluded. It also faces the west so you see beautiful sunsets every evening. Our cabin is right on the edge of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, only three hundred yards away. So this log cabin is a perfect getaway. Situated in Wears Valley, TN, about 9 miles from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this cabin is in an ideal location that many cabin and chalet rentals do not offer.

We also have PLAYSTATION 2 and XBOX 360 with several games for both systems (like Guitar Hero 3(Legends of Rock), Madden NFL Football, NBA Live Basketball, MLB Baseball, FIFA Soccer, Lego Star Wars (The Complete Saga), Lego Indiana Jones, Kung Fu Panda, Finding Nemo, Project Gotham Racing 3 (PGR3), Ghost Recon (Advanced Warfighter) that you could play on either one of our large 37" HDTV LCD TVs (one in the basement and one in the living room). We also have a 24" TV in the master BR. We also have direct TV with hundreds of channels, but we also carry local stations (especially if you want to watch local news, weather or sports). So there's plenty of things to do at our cabin if you decide to just stay home and enjoy the scenery/view.
Our log cabin is truly all natural wood (there is NO sheetrock anywhere in this cabin). Our cabin is very spacious (about 2400 sq ft). It has 4 bedrooms (4 queen beds) and 4 bathrooms. It consists of three floors: a basement that has 2 queen sleeper sofa beds (we also have 2 twin blow-up air mattresses--if you want the option to keep all the kids in the same room), pool table, foosball game, satellite 37" HDTV LCD TV/stereo, bathroom, washer/dryer and an outside wooden deck with a hot tub that overlooks the valley. The first floor has 2 bedrooms with its own bathrooms(master BR has 24" TV), dining room with gas fireplace, satellite 37" HDTV LCD TV/stereo (living room), dining room, kitchen and a spacious outdoor wooden deck that has plenty of log furniture/rockers and a swing to relax and look down the valley. Finally, the upstairs loft has 2 bedrooms and they share one bathroom. When you wake up in the morning, you can see incredible views of the entire valley over your bedside. We also have a charcoal grill outside for those of you that would like to cook hamburgers, etc. Although our cabin is located very high on the mountain, the roads are all well paved thus providing easy access. There's also plenty of parking if you have multiple cars.
Our cabin may be very secluded, but it is very convenient in that it is not too far from everything in town. For example, there is a gas station (with groceries) at the foot of the mountain and a Kroger grocery store that is only about 5 miles away. There's also a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop 10 minutes away! Shopping malls, antique and craft shops, and plenty of attractions are a minutes drive away. If the crowded areas of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have zapped your energy, relax on the deck of Next Step Heaven, and listen to Nature around you.
Many hiking trails are located near the cabin site, as well as what the National Park has to offer. Trout fishing, horse back riding, mountain biking, and white water rafting are other great adventures to seek while staying at the cabin.
