Our weeklong stay at your townhome was fabulous for many reasons; location, view, and amenities to name a few. We watched the aspens outside the patio change from green to yellow to orange; we sat in the sunny living room and felt the warmth of the home; we barbequed and dined on the private patio and watched a fox dash across the golf course from our master bedroom balcony. One major factor for us as well was your willingness to let our well mannered dogs enjoy the vacation with us, and long walks and bike rides were more fun accordingly. I would love to stay again in your townhome, hopefully for an even longer stay as it felt like home with very comfortable beds and furniture and all the amenities one needs. I also greatly appreciated your flexibility with dates when illness forced a change. Thanks, Jan, for a wonderful experience and a week to remember.

A Great Pagosa Springs Experience

Our first visit to Pagosa Springs was in March 2011. Liked it so much, we went back in July. Saw this townhouse in March, but could not reserve it until the July trip. .... We loved it. High quality; great location; well maintained. Staying at this townhouse very much added to the pleasure of our vacation. THANKS!

Outstanding Accommodations

My family recently had the opportunity to stay at this townhouse. Not only was it in an ideal location but it had quality furnishing and appliances. The owners were very attentive to our needs during our stay and we had the best time!

Nice stay - poor treatment by owner

My family and another (4 adults/4kids) stayed very comfortably here and enjoyed Wolf Creek spring skiing and sledding and the Pagosa Springs area. The town home was clean, the amenities were as described, and I felt it was reasonably priced. However, when my security deposit had not been credited to my account 2 weeks after my stay, I e-mailed the owner. She promptly responded, informing me that she had e-mailed me right after my stay (I did not receive this e-mail), and that there was an ink stain on the kitchen table that the cleaning crew could not remove, and that "several people" had called to her attention that there were "3 RV's parked in the driveway and that it looked like over 20 people were staying at [her] place." I responded immediately that she must have us confused with other travelers because I had not received her e-mail. I informed her that we didn’t see anyone else around at all during our stay and that the neighboring places seemed vacant. We were definitely not loud or rowdy – we relaxed at home after spending the day skiing or sledding. We watched movies – no loud stereos or anything. We didn’t even BBQ outside. Her response that same day was that the ink stain had come out with baking soda and water and that "with regard to [my] visit and the number of occupants, [she] mis-understood those noting the vehicles - they stated it was 4 SUV's not 3 RV's in the front driveway and [her] realtor said that it looked as though 20 people were staying at the home. In reality, we had 2 minivans, and 1 was parked in the garage. I fine it interesting that a realtor noting 20 people staying in a rental would not knock on the door and inquire further. 93% of my deposit was refunded, but it was obvious that the owner didn't believe that we didn't cram 20 people in her town home. I was very offended because we followed every request on the "check out" list, from stripping beds, washing, drying and putting away dishes, putting the garbage container out on the curb, setting all the thermostats, setting the alarm, etc. All while trying to get on the road for our 12-hour trip home. I have used VRBO.com for 6 different vacation stays now, and I have never been so rudely treated by an owner.

Owner response:Our townhouse has been rented for over four years without a single negative review. I think by reviewing the other visitor comments you will note that we as owners are kind and concerned with our visitor's stay, accommodations, and any concerns are addressed in a caring and professional manner. I do understand that when others are legitimately questioned with regard to their stay that it may be somewhat unsettling. In this instance, not only did we further investigate the statements from others, but we were very concerned to get correct information to adequately assess the situation. Although there was a significant amount of data indicating an abundance of unauthorized guests were in our home, we kindly chose to take the word of our renters. As was mentioned, the security deposit was refunded with $20 being held for the time it took our cleaning service to remove the ink stain from the table. We would like those reading this to know that not only did we not charge our guests for unauthorized visitors staying in our home, the $20 charge for the ink removal was less than our actual costs for the cleaning service. We appreciate all our visitors and their concerns and will continue to do our utmost to make sure we are kind, fair and communicative about any issues which may arise.

I have stayed at this home three times now and always enjoyed a great stay. Everything is easily found not only in house, but also in town. Labelling for light switches and cabinet contents made being in a different place an easy transition. Accomodations were nicer than any hotel and it was easily noticeable great effort has been made to make guests feel they are at THEIR OWN vacation home. The kicker for me was the in home boot/glove dryer which had all of our gear ready to ride "wet free" the next day. Can't wait for the next time I get to stay here and shred Wolf Creek!

Pagosa golf course home

We have stayed at this home twice now, once in the summer and once during the week of Thanksgiving. The location is excellent, and close to everything (stores, golf course, restaurants, etc..). The home is beautiful, and spacious. We were able to sleep quite comfortably 4 adults and 3 children. The home is also incredibly clean and organized. We have stayed in other homes when visiting Pagosa, none this nice.

A magnificent get away

We expected a nice place to stay for our Parelli outing. It was far better than anything we expected. It was centrally located and easy to find once we followed the directions given by the owner instead of our GPS. It was like visiting a friend's wonderful home. Everything we wanted was right there. The book of instructions was so helpful It was a great place to entertain and had everything we needed for our little party. All the beds were very comfortable but that master bedroom suite was spectacular. Having the hot air balloon land in the yard was an unexpected surprise. We hope to come back again next year and have recommended it to several friends already. .

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful townhouse on our honeymoon. Pagosa had a lot of great hikes, sites and activities to offer but coming "home" felt just as nice when the place was so beautiful and spacious. We loved that we had everything we needed to cook and grill here and we loved the handy guide book you put together. We were able to enjoy the wildlife park and rafting in the San Juan, among many other memorable events. We had a wonderful week and we hope to return again soon, as well as tell family and friends to come out, too. After this trip, we are seriously thinking about moving to the area in the future.

I was blown away by the actual quality of this town home. I still can't believe the owner opens such a lovely home to us all. The pictures do not do it justice! The owner has done everything to perfection. I can tell she has a caring sense of ownership. Our family of five loved it and did not even use all the bedrooms. I hate to give such a glowing review because now it will be booked when I want it!! You will NOT be disappointed!

My wife and I love your townhouse! We try to find accommodations that are at least equal to our home. You beat that. Nice job on labelling everything, it certainly helps in settling in quicker. We can honestly say we felt at home soon after arriving. You did a wonderful job in the furniture and kitchen appliances. This townhouse is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in on vacation. We loved how beautifully furnished it is with leather sofa and chair, granite counter tops, and many other great amenities. The master suite is a dream with an outside balcony deck and a bathroom with a huge walk-in shower, jacuzzi tub, and double granite vanity top. Everything about this townhouse is high quality. It had everything we needed to make for a very comfortable stay. Its location is convenient to all the wonderful vacation activities in and around Pagosa Springs including shopping, restaurants and golfing. We plan to vacation in Pagosa again and again, and this property will be our first choice. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to vacation.

Well the consensus is that your townhouse is the perfect place for a wonderful vacation! It is so comfortable and everything we needed was here.
