Villa Delle Palme is one of the BVI's most elegant and gracious homes. It was designed by Jon Osman, who is also responsible for Richard Branson’s Necker Island mansion, and was professionally decorated for use as a private residence. The present owners have completely refurbished and substantially improved the Villa and have decided to make it available for vacation renters when they are not using it. The Villa sits on two acres in Green Bank Estate overlooking Brewer's Bay on Tortola's lush northwest coast. It boasts some of the most spectacular landscaping on the island.
An electronic gate opens to the long, palm-lined driveway that ends in a covered parking area adjacent to the Villa's front door. Built on three levels, the entry level includes a great room that has three walls of custom mahogany windows that reveal stunning, almost unbelievable views. French doors open to the West Indian verandah that offers alfresco dining and a sitting area with views of the Villa's glorious private gardens, islands in the distance, the endless ocean, the sound of tropical birdsong and cool trade winds.
The huge great room includes a formal dining area with seating for up to 12 persons, a newly redone and fully equipped gourmet kitchen with custom mahogany cabinets and granite counter tops, a formal sitting area and an area for TV and DVD viewing. The great room has a CD and Ipod ready music system housed in the liquor armoire.
The east wing of the main level includes an office decorated with antique sailing-ship flag prints and a powder room. The office is equiped with wifi, a computer for guest use (with Skype software installed), two printers and a fax.
Further into the East wing is the air-conditioned master suite. It is furnished with a mahogony four-poster king bed, has a walk in closet, a newly redone large dressing area plus a separate bath area with both a tub and a shower. The suite's music system is Ipod-ready. The master suite also has a private balcony that offers views of the gardens and the sea.
The second level is in the West wing of the Villa, just 1/2 a flight of stairs down from the entry level. The West wing is entered through a 3 story tall stairwell and a corridor dotted with antique prints, original pastel drawings and oil paintings. The Florentine suite and the Genoa suite are located in the West wing. Both suites are queen bedded, air-conditioned, have private bathrooms with showers and vine covered balconies that allow views of the gardens and the sea.
Another 1/2 level down is the Patio Suite. It is air conditioned, furnished with two queen beds and has a private bathroom with shower. This suite permits direct access to the terrace level of the Villa.
All bedrooms are equiped with Satellite TVs and DVD players. The Villa maintains a large collections of music CD's and DVD films.
Throughout the Villa and in every suite the tile floors are strewn with oriental carpets and the walls are decorated with original art and antique prints. The furniture throughout the house is first quality, manufactiured mostly by Baker, one of America's most respected furniture companies.
A few steps below the Patio Suite is the tiled terrace level with a pool, a cooking and dining area and a sun-deck. The very large terrace is divided into three patios on two levels. The center patio offers a 27 x 14ft, 7 foot deep swimming pool, a shaded sitting area and a hammock. The photos of the patio level were taken in the early morning before the sun drenched the pool, the sun deck and the dining area. The patio has a North West exposure and in in full sunlight throughout the day.
At the east end of the terrace level and up four steps is a newly built barbeque/dining patio. It includes a built-in barbegue grill, a support kitchen/bar for the terrace and a custom dining table that seats 6 people. A sound system located in the auxilliary kitchen drives outdoor speakers for music on the entire terrace level.
Taking off from the far end of the dining patio is a winding path leading into one of the 3 hillside gardens behind the Villa. The path leads through a a small fruit-tree orchard and winds down the terraced hillside landscaping.
On the west side of the terrace is a sun-deck with four chaise-longe and a second custom dining table for casual snacks.
Included in the rental fee is maid service for basic cleaning twice a week.
First class in every way, Villa Delle Palme is highly recommended by former guests.

Villa Delle Palme was a dream. The managers were wonderful. Anticipating all of our needs and more. From meeting us at the airport, helping us with our rental car, having groceries for us upon arrival, etc. My husband and I stayed there with our three children who range in age from 20 - 28 years old. The property was spotless. The pool was beautiful. There were gadgets at our disposal that we don't even have at our own house. We were able to take day trips to Virgin Gorda, Norman Island and more. I would highly recommend this house to friends, relatives and others.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Villa Delle Palme was absolutely the most outstanding vacation rental experience that our family has every enjoyed. Although the photos are truly indicative of the beauty of the home and the surrounding landscape, it was not until we stepped into this magnificent residence that we truly appreciated the overall setting. The overall condition of the home was first rate and came furnished with so many little extras that made us feel as though we were in our own home. We were greeted at the ferry dock by Samantha, the property manager who escorted us to the home and gave us a very comprehensive tour of the villa along with some valuable references regarding restaurants, sightseeing and local information. The homeowner was very gracious and made the rental process simple and complete in every aspect. Our two boys, ages 7 & 9 could not have been happier in this very spacious home. They took full advantage of the beautiful pool and after a several long days at the beach, they felt most fortunate to have their own wonderfully furnished bedroom. It will be our good fortune to be able to return to this oasis of a home in the future.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Hi Folks, This is a quick note to let you know that Villa Delle Palme is a fantastic home. Not a vacation rental, a home. And an extremely nice elegant home at that! So, yes, the pictures are fantastic! AND, I know it is hard to believe but they do not do it justice. Villa Delle Palme is even nicer than the pictures you see on the web site. Hard to believe but yes, it is true! The Villa Delle Palme management team is an extremely nice couple you will enjoy meeting and they make sure everything runs smoothly and seamlessly. I took my family including our 8 year old daughter, my parents, and my aunt. We stayed a week. Everybody really enjoyed the trip. The property is clean and well maintained. We had no problems. The owner and his management team were fabulous. They took very good care of us and I was very pleased with the experience for myself and my entire family. As you can probably guess, I definitely recommend this property / owner / management team. They were great! We rented a boat and went skin diving at the Baths. We also want down to the caves featured in Treasure Island. My daughter was disappointed she did not find any gold but she was otherwise quite happy. We spent quite a bit of time in the house cooking, just chilling, enjoying the porches / views, and swimming in the pool. So, thank you so much for sharing your home with us. For those of you that choose to follow in our footsteps, enjoy!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

My family of 4 and my brother and his family (4) often travel together for vacation. This was a perfect house for 2 families. 3 of the kids were teenagers and they loved it here! The home is beautiful and the pictures cannot depict all of the beauty. The home was pristine and just gorgeous. We had a little problem with some bees and that was taken care of immediately. The owner was so nice, accomodating and helpful. We truly felt like we were at home. Got to enjoy World Cup Soccer in the BVI which was awesome. Enjoyed the strenous walks in the morning to burn off some cals! Great food and places to eat all over. Did some great cooking at the house too! Sugar Mill is a fabulous restaurant. Love the Jolly Roger; BananaKeet and Rhymers; fun to catch the music here. Did a day sail to Virgin Gorda, Peter Island etc. Unfortunately my daughter and I had the misfortune of coming in contact with a not so nice Carribean Box Jelly Fish. Snorkeling here is beautiful. Many places you just walk in off the beach with your gear. Day to trip to Jost Van Dyke to visit the Soggy Dollar and Foxy's. Both a blast and experience. This was my husband and my 3rd time to Tortola and the first for our girls. This was my most favorite place to stay! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Take time to experience all that Tortola offers. Best 10 days of my life...Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
