If you like to snorkel, this is the place to stay. This studio cabin is located on a quiet bay of the Pacific ocean so you can snorkel right from your door. This property also boasts its own private tidal pool that is full of beautiful tropical fish.

You will want to spend most of your time lounging on the covered lanai that fronts the cabin. This studio cabin was recently remodeled and it will be one that you want to return to again and again.

While staying here you will slow down and de-stress. It is the perfect place to feel the rhythms of nature. Kapoho is located about 40 minutes from Hilo or 15 minutes from Pahoa and is on the famed "Red Road" where you will discover the true spirit of "Old Hawaii." This is probably one of the prettiest drives on the island. This is a perfect place for a relaxing and fun vacation.

  • This is a great little cottage for a very pleasant and relaxing holiday. We stayed 5 days and should have stayed longer as there is a lot to do in the area. (volcano, lava hike, hot ponds, Campagne Ponds by the A frame, black sand beach, etc.) The cottage updates are great and the kitchen perfect. Be sure to talk to any neighbours who wander by on the little public path next to the cottage. They can give you lots of good information and are very friendly. We really enjoyed the fish in the pond. They are expert beggars and there really are turtles in the warm lagoon in front of the cottage. They don't seem to mind tourists with cameras!
