BEAUTIFULLY FURNISHED AND DECORATED
Sea Change is a townhouse-style condominium that has been completely, and lovingly, renovated, refurnished, and decorated.
Unlike some beach rentals, Sea Change isn't filled with the same old beach decor available everywhere. Rather, artful touches such as a beautiful custom-made shell mirror, primitive beach cottage painting, and original black and white photography, let you know, in a subtle way, that you have indeed arrived at a very special beach place.
The downstairs living area of the condo's serene color scheme of white, cream, linen, and soft green are accented with a punch of ocean blue here and there, amid unique carefully selected furniture. Upstairs, the serene color scheme prevails in the master bedroom, and then comes alive in the guest bedroom with Barbados-style linens and subtly-distressed, painted antique furniture.
ONE OF THE BEST LOCATED TOWNHOUSES IN CASSINE GARDEN!
Sea Change is the second townhouse on the left when you enter Cassine Garden --- we are much closer to the beach than 90% of the other townhouses in Cassine. Another perk - we have the living area downstairs, while many of the townhouses have front doors that enter into the bedroom and bath area.
Just a 3- to 4-minute walk to the top-rated sugar-white sand beach, Sea Change offers a compact but full kitchen with new Silestone Quartz countertops, new appliances, spacious living and dining area, and a half bath downstairs. Upstairs holds two bedrooms, each with its own balcony, and a full bath. The back sliding glass door leads out to a back patio, green lawn and tropical wooded landscaping.
A private pool is just a minute's walk out the back door, but far enough away to maintain Sea Change's quiet atmosphere. On a quiet summer evening, settle into one of the Adirondack chairs on the balcony, sip a cool drink, and relax in the coastal breeze.
SURE TO PLEASE THE SUN GODDESS, THE SPORTSMAN, AND THE SHOPPER!
Sea Change is located in the Seagrove Beach community, about 20 miles east of Destin, on Scenic 30-A. Sugar-white sand beaches and emerald-green waters, along with fine dining, great shopping, and outdoor activities make this quiet, charming, Old-Florida style beach town a perfect destination.
Vacation at Sea Change in Seagrove and leave the rat-race behind. Swim in the clear emerald waters of the Gulf and sun on the sugar-white sand beaches, just a 4-min. walk from your front door.
Take a short morning walk along 30A or the beach; ride your bike along the miles of bike/walking paths; or take a walk on the nature trails among elegant cypress trees --- all just a few minutes away.
After several days of sun and sand, some folks may want to take a break from all that relaxation and head 20 miles west to spend a day in Destin. Check out the Silver Sands Factory Stores, the largest designer brand outlet mall in the country, and the Destin Commons, an impressive open-air shopping center. Shop till you drop in Destin, play goofy-golf, ride dune buggies, or catch a movie --- then escape the bumper-to-bumper traffic and crowds of Destin and return to quiet and laid-back Seagrove.
The entire stretch of 30-A is dotted with boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, and one-of-a-kind shops. Neighboring Seaside, only two miles away, also offers unique shops, many cultural and social events such as wine-tastings, art festivals, outdoor free movies, and local bands playing in the evening on the village green.
WE ARE ONE OF THE FEW "BETTER" RENTALS THAT INVITE NIGHTLY RENTALS!
Grab your bathing suit, a good book, a bottle of wine, and come relax in our serene get-away.

Our family had a great time on our recent vacation to Seagrove!! John and Valerie are wonderful and easy to work with. The condo was beautiful and so convenient to everything (my girl's especially loved the ice cream shop at the entrance and the Snappy Turtle next door). We went to the pool often, which is right out the back door in a beautiful setting, and the beach is right across the street. There are shops and restaurants all within walking distance. It is a place we will want to come back to again and again! Thanks so much!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We really appreciate it when folks take the time to submit a review to VRBO after they've gotten back home into their daily grind. I like to picture our guests getting home and looking at their vacation photos and then breaking out the calendar to plan next year's vacation with us! We love our beach place and always do our best to make sure that our guests love it as much as we do!

An absolutely wonderful townhouse; clean, comfortable, and very stylish! It truly is a 5 minute walk to the best beaches this country has to offer. The pools and nature trail were also a big hit with our daughters. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fantastic 30A vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My husband and I stayed at Sea Change condo June 9th through June 16th. It was a VERY clean and beautifully decorated condo. We really liked how quiet and sheltered it was from the main road. Thanks to John and Valerie for extending their property to us! We hope to be back next year!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

The Condo was everything we expected: very clean, beautifully decorated, surrounded by beautiful gardens, and a perfect location to access the beach. Our two boys enjoyed playing basketball, swimming, and tennis at Cassine Gardens. We went on several walks in the nature preserve that is attached to Cassine Gardens. We spent most of our time at the beach and enjoyed the quiet and relaxing environment at the Condo in the evening. The kitchen was wonderful and we prepared most of our meals. The Publix grocery store was only a short drive away. We highly recommend the Condo to anyone looking for some rest, relaxation, and easy access to the beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We love to hear feedback about our condo and are especially pleased when guests enjoy themselves and value the same characteristics of our condo as we do! It sounds as if this family had a terrific time and that makes us very happy.

We stayed for 8 nights and I didn't want to leave. We have stayed across the street for 5 years and never knew about the incredible nature trails and the quiet area of Cassine. Our children were able to ride bikes without fear of the traffic on 30A - This condo was 200 yards from the 30A and we had no problem walking to the beach with our chairs and umbrella which they also provided. I loved that they left the storage room for us so we could put the sandy beach stuff up and didn't have to bring it in the condo. The pool was right in the back yard. The owners have done a wonderful job decorating - I actually wanted to bring the furniture and accessories home - Not only was this the perfect place it was close to my two favorite places to eat Angelina's and Gravel Road so we could bike. I look forward to staying here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We love it when folks take the time to share how much they enjoyed our Condo in Seagrove Beach! It says a lot to us when someone takes the time -- AFTER the vacation is over and they're back at work -- to go back online and write a review. We've never had a dissatisfied guest and the gals always love the creative decorating! Valerie

This is our second visit to your wonderful home and we've had the best time. No oil in sight, thankfully, and we pray it stays that way. My niece had never been to the Gulf (she's a west coast girl) and she couldn't get over the warm water and beautiful sand. What a wonderful and memorable week. We can't wait to come back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

About the owner: John is a University professor and Valerie is the R & D manager for a non-profit organization -- two professionals who love being at the beach. We vacationed along 30-A for years before buying a place in Sea Grove. Our other favorite vacation place is Glacier Park, MT where we go hiking each summer.
Why the Owner Chose Cassine Gardens:
While the Destin area has lots of shopping and activities, the traffic and congestion drive us crazy! We much prefer the small town, laid back feel of Seagrove. Being nature lovers we also really enjoy the hiking trails in the Florida state forrest behind Cassine Gardens -- and of course a beach with the most beautiful turquoise water anywhere!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Even in midsummer, Sea Grove and our condo community remain uncrowded and laid back -- with plenty of eating and shopping opportunities but without the traffic and crowds. We could sit on the beach and stare at the clean, clear, turquoise water all day!
