Just returned from an amazing stay at Sapphire Beach Condos! This adorable corner condo has the best views....as you are sitting on the patio eating breakfast , you can watch the boats leave the marina on their way to St. John's or look at the serene beach and bay as your other view. The condo is very bright with a lot of windows--a benefit to a corner unit.Very clean and well maintained.Very nice beachy decor with blues and greens. It is equiped with everything you could possibly need. The pool area is very picturesque as it is framed by the Caribbean sea. Sapphire Beach is very close to Red Hook where there is great dining and cute shops--we liked CocoBlue and Caribbean Saloon.( Try the wahoo and mahi mahi---always island fresh) The ferry to St. John's island is right there as well--a 15 min. ride and you're there.( $12.00 round trip) Beautiful island---Cinnamon Bay is gorgeous with good snorkeling and bath facilities and a restaurant. ( Trunk Bay is very famous but can get crowded w/ cruise day trippers) There are plenty of restaurants and great shops right at the harbor--Mongoose Junction and Wharfside shops. We ate at High Tide--on the patio and watched the sunset w/ all the moored sailboats as the backdrop.Beautiful. A restaurant that is in Charlotte Amalie and is located on the Bluebeard's Castle property is the Banana Tree Grille. The restaurant is located high on a hilltop w/ amazing views of the harbor where the cruise ships dock---at night it is a magical sight and the food and service is excellent. The Sugar Bay resort is just a couple minutes away from the condo where we took a day cruise on the catamaran Daydreamer to Jost Van Dyke---amazing sail with stops at pristine beaches and great snorkeling.The weather was beautiful, very warm but always a nice breeze to keep you comfortable on the beaches. I think the biggest plus staying at this condo is the location---this condo is at the end of the beach right by the pool so it is fairly quiet there---and you can't beat the views! We rented a jeep for the week---so much more convenient than a taxi--driving on the left---no problem! The hills will keep your attention but the views as you are traveling are spectacular! Roseanne and Darrell's condo is paradise at the beach! I would highly recommend staying there!! The info that Roseanne sends you prior to your arrival is perfect---answers any questions---great to work with! Look forward to a return visit!

This was our third year in a row staying in this beautiful condo! As always Rosanne & Darrell were most accomodating and helpful! This year we wanted to introduce some friends to Sapphire Beach and Rosanne was helpful in helping us locate another condo in the same building that would meet their needs. We had a great time here from 3/3 to 3/14/2012. The location of D101 is absolutely perfect, with a full view of St. John. We liked to sit on the patio and watch the clouds roll over St. John, casting shadows that seemed to change the appearance of the island from hour to hour - how relaxing is that! And in the other direction, there are beach and bay views that can't be beat. The pool area has several different levels - we were always able to find a place of our own to catch some sun and get even closer to the water. We were attracted to Sapphire Bay because of the snorkeling, and it's a great feature that you can walk right in and start snorkeling. As for the condo, our thanks and compliments to Rosanne and Darryl for a fine vacation home, and for providing everthing we could possibly expect. And Roseanne was so responsive and helpful throughout the planning stage and during our visit. If you're looking for total relaxation in beautiful surroundings, this is it.

This was my second stay in a year (I loved it so much the first time that I had to come back!). Beautiful location, great condo, and all around good time. We were already planning our next trip as we got ready to go home :) The Mahi sandwiches at the food shack are always delicious, and we loved swimming with the turtles. And of course, the resort kitties were fun to hang out with! Thanks for another fantastic trip!

We just returned from a week in St. Thomas in your condo and enjoyed every minute. Coffee on the porch or steps away at the pool, the constant breezes, snorkeling at the beach, and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Thank you for having a perfect place to stay in St. Thomas.

We had a wonderful time in D101. The condo was spectacular in every way. The views were wonderful from every window. Rosanne has equipped the condo with every convenience. We were so comfortable during hurricane Irene. The pool area was so convenient from our lanai....the hammock was so appropriate for easy living and comfort. If you want excellence and detail in every way the unit was the greatest. We hope to return after the first of the year. Thanks again Rosanne and Darrell

Get ready for your best vacation ever. St Thomas is one of the best places we have ever vacationed and we plan to return again and again. We stayed in D101 August 5-12 and it was fantastic. The views were great, the beach was just steps outside your door. The condo has everything you could want. The bed was very comfortable! We spent most of our time snorkling and sitting on the beach. Snorling was best early in the morning, the sea turtles were very active at this time of the day. The beach was pretty busy on Tuesday and Wednesday when the cruise ships were in but they tended to stay down by the dive shop so it was not a problem. We took a day sail on Nightwind and we would reccomend this. We also parasailed which was really beautiful but don't buy the pictures they were not worth the price. If you are considering a trip to ST Thomas this is the place to stay!

You could come back again and again and still not do all there is to do-so we welcome their return visit!

A Special Condo At A Wonderful Place

When searching for a special place to take my bride on our 30th wedding anniversary, I knew we needed several things to make us happy: a great beach, great pool, beautiful views and the right condo. I am happy to say we hit all 4 out of the park during our stay at Darrell and Rosanne's island home (7/28 thru 8/4 2011). First, the condo is everything you've read in most of the other reviews. It is very well appointed, beautiful with excellent decorating touches, and in a great location just steps from the beach or pool. The corner unit gives you views to either side of the beach from the pool building. Inside you've got everything you need to be comfortable and relaxed. The in-room safe is great; it held our iPads, keys, wallet, color Nook and my wife's purse! Every kitchen utensil possible is available. Second, let's talk about the beach. What a beautiful location on St. Thomas. Believe me, the photos do NOT do this place justice. You cannot picture the amount of natural beauty that your eyes will drink in here! We used the included chair rentals every day, positioned under the trees on beachside, and framed our view with cool drinks and a perfect breeze. We cannot snorkle but others did and loved it. The water is amazingly clear, so I saw many fish that were swimming at my legs. Third..the pool. While the on-site restaurant is closed, the manager says it will be reopened once some litigation is completed. The pool is superb, with it's own perfect location for views of St. John. Fourth; great views. The location of this resort provides a little of everything...beach, marina, islands, natural scenes, etc. LOVED IT! Finally, Rosanne was excellent to work with throughout this process. She takes great care in providing any information you need, and is very responsive to questions or issues. We weren't sure if we wanted a beach level or upper level unit. Having been there now, I think either would have selected advantages. While the overall view is probably better at upper units, the beach level is great for getting right to everything easily and quickly. Rosanne's patio is expansive, and we used every element of it (ate meals at the table, used the hammock, sat shairs at the corner door for a different view, used the loungers facing the pool). You will not be dissapointed here. It is a great condo and great location. This is now our HAPPY PLACE, and we plan to return!

My daughter & I recently returned from one of the best vacations we've ever had. We absolutely loved the Daniels' condo! What a prime location...an end unit with views that are breathtaking from 2 large sliders facing 2 different views; beach to the left, pool & St John straight ahead. We loved the hammock on the spacious patio too. When we arrived and walked into the condo, we both simultaneously said "Wow"! It is so cute, nicely furnished, & has all the amenities one could want. The bed was very comfortable, shower great, and kitchen well stocked. We snorkeled every day, rented a car and toured the island, shopped downtown, and took the ferry over to St John one day. Loved every minute of it all. We will definitely return to Sapphire beach & definitely stay at the Daniels' condo!!!

What a perfect location. Right across from the pool and to the left the beautiful beach. Loved the breezes at this location. We have stayed at Sapphire many times and we would definetly stay in this unit again. Owners were great to work with and the unit is great! Loved sitting out on the covered patio. Big plus was having the beach chairs all week. We will definetly rent this unit again. Felt like home.

Beautiful condo on the beach

This was our first visit to STT and I did alot of research where to stay & I know we found the best place to stay on this beautiful island! You walk out the patio doors onto the beautiful beach & the pool is right in front of the condo also. We loved staying here. The condo had everything you need for a comfort stay and it was very clean! Red Hook is just a short drive & there are lots of good restaurants. The snorkeling was good on Sapphire Beach and the views are amazing from the condo. If we get to come back to STT, we will definitely stay here!

Wanted to compliment the owners for such a lovely, well taken care of condo with all of the comforts of home....fresh towels, fresh linens, comfy bed, cooking utensils, spices, cooler, coffee maker, hair dryer....etc... It is wonderful to have such a fabulous view of St. Johns with the beautiful pool and crystal clear water of Sapphire Beach when you sit out on your porch in the morning while drinking your coffee. The location on the East End is a major plus with Red Hook and it's quaint restaurants & marina as well as the ferry services to to cool day trips if that fits into your schedule. I will recommend this particular condo to all of my friends who are looking for an amazing vacation!

When we walked into the condo last year, we were overwhelmed by how nice it was. This year, it was like coming home. We plan to visit St. Thomas many times in the years to come, and as long as Rosanne and Darrell will have us, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. It would just be a letdown. THE BEST CONDO/LOCATION ON SAPPHIRE BEACH!!!!

You will absolutely love this 1st FLOOR CORNER UNIT located directly on the beach and steps away from the pool. There are 2 fabulous views from the patio. One being the pool with its beautiful views of the islands beyond with an amazing sunrise over St. John. Look the other direction and you have a view of the whole length of the white sandy beach with gorgeous sunsets. The beach has a dive shop where beach chairs and snorkel equipment are provided free with the rental. You do not want to miss out snorkeling with the sea turtles! The hotel lobby has a concierge desk with information on tours, restaurants etc. There is even a taxi stand if you decide not to rent a car. The marina is 50 yards away and we took a day boat trip to the BVI's which was a blast! We stayed 5 nights and loved every minute. The unit is beautifully decorated and maintained. Are you looking to travel with another couple? Ask Rosanne about the unit next door which is owned by their friends. The two patios are separated by dividing doors which can be opened up. You will then have a gigantic patio to share with your family or friends. In our next visit we hope to rent both units, so that we can all be together on the same patio, yet have the privacy of having our own unit. We are from Los Angeles which is a distance away, otherwise we would be visiting often. Without a doubt we will stay in this unit again. Don't even bother to look elsewhere. This is the perfect unit.

Very Relaxing "Double" Celebration!!

WOW!! My husband and I stayed in this fantastic condo for the 2nd part of our stay! From the moment we got off the plane to meet Sam, the property manager (such a gem of a guy!), to checking out, everything was superb! The condo is very clean and well maintained - it was nice having the extra space with the "wrap around" patio (the hammock was a favorite too!!). The extra lil touches were very much appreciated - the condo is equipped with plenty of DVDs and some nice CDs if you want to listen to some relaxing music, or bring your own! We enjoyed staying on the ground floor with the pool and beach just steps away--the pool was very clean-it was nice to just sit and look out at the turquoise blue water! We went to the Banana Cabana on site (between bldgs B&C)-they have good food and drinks - maybe someday the pool bar will open up again-it would be such a great asset to the property! We rented a car from Budget Rentals ahead of time and it was easy to pick it up and retun it right at Sapphire Beach. Red Hook is only a 1/2 mile away and very convenient for groceries and restaurants; we enjoyed going to see St John on the ferry from Red Hook-only took 15 minutes! Thank you, Rosanne, for your recommendation of The Old Stone Farmhouse Restaurant - we had a wonderful dinner there to celebrate a big birthday and our anniversary - it was a nice touch to go into the kitchen to meet the chef about the evening's specials!! Everything was perfect!! We traveled around a little bit here and there, but we couldn't wait to get back to the condo! We enjoyed being away from it all and that is what Rosanne's condo is all about...how can you not relax in the islands! We hope to return again sometime - it was fabulous!!!! Just as advertised. This is a great place to come home to each day no matter if you spent the day sightseeing or stayed put and enjoyed Sapphire Beach. This is our 5th trip to STT but our first time staying at a condo. The Daniels condo spoiled us and we will be in this one next visit.

Perfect Wedding, Honeymoon and Birthday Suite

We just returned from an 8 day stay in the condo and we felt so at home! The unit is comfortable, well stocked with everything we needed to make dinner, snacks, coffee etc. No shortage of anything from games, to cards to pens, to books, movies and information. We saw 3 weddings during our stay and we got married out at Prettyklip Point....what a wonderful backdrop to a wedding!!! I was so relaxed and comfortable that I even took a nap in the hammock the morning of my wedding! We enjoyed the company of the kittens and having coffee in the morning while watching the sun come up was extremely peaceful. We rented a car (good idea) and enjoyed many meals in and around Red Hook. We loved Duffy's and Molly Malones and would definitely recommend getting pizza from Island Time instead of delivery. We enjoyed a sailing trip on The Simplicity, swimming with sea lions at Coral World and snorkeling right off the beach (rays, lobster, sea turtles and tons of fish). I found tons of sea glass on the beach towards the marina (the trick is to dig a little in the small rocks and let the water drift over them so the glass glistens in the sun). We did so many things that it is tough to list them all, however,we both had a fantastic time and would recommend St. Thomas and this unit in particular to anyone. It did not disappoint and Roseann was so easy to work with.

St Thomas - Evening In Paradise Rental Review

The Condo itself is in a great location, directly across from the pool and a short walk to a great beach. Snorkeling and water sports on Sapphire are excellent - can't beat getting out in the water just by walking out your door (or the view of St. Johns). The Condo has just about anything you need onsite, and the conenient location to Red Hook makes this property a great place to rent. From the Condo to Red Hook is about a five minute drive, making it easy to catch the ferry to St. Johns. Between St Johns and St Thomas, beaches, water sports, restaurants, hiking (St Johns), this condo provides a great place to stay and relax or do just about whatever you want to enjoy the island(s). Most importantly working directly with the owners was easy and efficient and professional. If we had another anniversary planned next year, we'd be back! Thanks to Rosanne for all your help!

Paradise Found

We had a great time and absolutely loved your condo. The location is perfect, right on the beach and the corner sliding doors provided spectacular views. The remodeling turned out great and all of your decorative touches truly made it feel like home. We both have allergies to fragrances and were thrilled that your unit just smelled clean! The problem with the water heater was fixed the very next morning ( a holiday) and was a minor gllich. Your quick response to our phone call was appreciated. Any questions before the trip were quickly responded to, also. The Banana Cabana has great sandwiches and drinks and allowed us to hang around the pool and beach without leaving until dinner. The water is beautiful as well as the views of the islands. Recommend Breakaway for an all day cruise to BVI, had a fun time. The Baths are definitely worth the trip. Overall, we had a great time and your unit contributed greatly to it!!!

TROPICAL PARADISE

We stayed at Darrell and Roseanne's condo April 25 - May 1, 2010. It was such a pleasure to find a place to stay that actually exceeded our expectation. The online photos don't do it justice. Obviously, we didn't see inside of every unit...there are lots of them...but I would be surprised to find another unit more comfortable, better equipped, more tastefully decorated, or in a better location. The Daniels do a great job maintaining this wonderful condo. They seem to treat it like a second home rather than as a rental property. It felt like our home as well while we were there. We've been to other places in the Caribbean, to Mexico, and to Hawaii, among other places. Sapphire Beach is now our favorite beach. The water is crystal clear, the snorkeling is amazing, and the seagrape trees provide plenty of shade. The view of St. John and the BVI directly from the beach is beyond description. Roseanne is very pleasant to deal with. She will answer any questions that you might have, and she always gets right back to you. It is no wonder that this unit is so popular. We wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else on St. Thomas, ever again. Can't wait for next time!

We have traveled to many islands. For this trip I actually did very little research. Boy what a surprize. The Daniels have it all. First is the condo. It is all updated, clean and very roomy. The porch is nice and shady with a hammock in one corner. The view could not be better. From inside the condo and on the porch you look right at the beach, pool and ocean. You over look St John island just a few miles away. The panoramic views are incredible. It has the best position of all the condos in the complex. You are just 10 steps to the beach, 50 steps to the pool and 60 steps to jump in the ocean. IT IS A GROUND FLOOR unit with sliders (ocean veiw) on two sides. The other units have to get to the pool or beach by going out the back of the unit, walking down stairs and then around the building. Also most of the other ground units are in high people traffic areas so you would not have the privacy you have with this unit. It is well worth the extra money to be right on the beach. Being a diver I took advantage of the dive shop (Dive In) located on the property. I did a lot of diving right off shore and it was very good but the best was from the boat located just a very short walk to the on site marina. The dive shop staff was the friendliest I have been with in many trips. We rented a car because we explored the island but you may not need it. They do have a rent a car place at the complex but they do not always have cars. I could go on and on but it all comes down to this is an encredible condo with a beautiful beach and the best view. Yes we were pleased and will come back. Thanks

We had a party of 11 people, our group rented 5 different condos and we all gathered in our condo for breakfast and afternoon/evening entertainment on the deck. We vacationed March 1-8, 2010 and D101 is absolutely the best unit on the entire resort!! We had a party of 11 people, our group rented 5 different condos and we all gathered in our condo for breakfast and afternoon/evening entertainment on the deck. The Daniels provided us with everything we needed....Thank you!! I would highly recommend renting this unit to anyone who is searching for a comfortable and affordable vacation. The Daniels have it all. First is the condo. It is all updated, clean and very roomy. The porch is nice and shady with a hammock in one corner. The view could not be better. From inside the condo and on the porch you look right at the beach, pool and ocean. You over look St John island just a few miles away. The panoramic views are incredible. It has the best position of all the condos in the complex. You are just 10 steps to the beach, 50 steps to the pool and 60 steps to jump in the ocean. IT IS A GROUND FLOOR unit with sliders (ocean veiw) on two sides. The other units have to get to the pool or beach by going out the back of the unit, walking down stairs and then around the building. Also most of the other ground units are in high people traffic areas so you would not have the privacy you have with this unit. It is well worth the extra money to be right on the beach. Being a diver I took advantage of the dive shop (Dive In) located on the property. I did a lot of diving right off shore and it was very good but the best was from the boat located just a very short walk to the on site marina. The dive shop staff was the friendliest I have been with in many trips. We rented a car because we explored the island but you may not need it. They do have a rent a car place at the complex but they do not always have cars. I could go on and on but it all comes down to this is an encredible condo with a beautiful beach and the best view. My wife and I spent a relaxing week in St. Thomas and thoroughly enjoyed your condo. It is perfectly located about 20 yards from both the pool and the beach. The condo has enough kitchen pots and pans and utensils to be able to make any meal. If you are there to have a peaceful getaway it couldnt be better. There is also different tours that you can take along with snorkeling gear at the main office. The only downfall that we found was that the resort lacked ammenities such as a restaurant or a bar ( the closest was a walk up the hill from the resort). For a quiet getaway with great weather and beautiful blue waters it can not be beat. I rated it good only because of the lack of ammenities. The condo and pool area are EXCELLENT!!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent 10 nights at this condo in December 2010. It was our third trip to the Virgin Islands. Each time we go, we look around for where we want to stay the next year. We've stayed at the Ritz, Point Pleasant and the Daniels' condo at Sapphire. There's something great about each of those places, but the Daniel's condo had the most to offer. It's super convenient to great snorkelling and the beach is beautiful! Looking out you have one of the best views on the island. Security was always visible, very friendly, and did a great job of monitoring the property. The condo is nicely appointed, and very well equipped. It's exactly as advertised...maybe even better than we expected. The shower is very nice and we enjoyed the colorful tile in the kitchen. We cooked in quite often, and had every pot/pan/utensil we needed. Being a corner unit is a nice feature. It was wonderful to be able to get to the beach before visitors arrived, choose our spot for the day, and be able to stroll back to the condo for a bathroom break, a refill, a snack or lunch. The beach never got too crowded with cruise shippers, but we had a plan to move to the pool area (condo guests only) if it did. Rosanne is great to work with! She answered every question I had (and some I hadn't even thought of). It seemed important to her not only that the condo was up to expectations but also that we had a great vacation in general. No question, we're coming back! Thank you for sharing your treasure with us!

It was AMAZING!! I absolutely LOVED, LOVED, LOVED your place!!! What a great find for me and how lucky are YOU to have that property!!! You have done such cute and amazing little touches to that place! It was so homey and fun and comfortable and convenient!! I cannot begin to tell you how relaxed and refreshed and healed I feel. My cup is full, thanks to you! I am also going to be a "frequent visitor" to your beautiful condo. We snorkled every day, and this morning GOD blessed us with an underwater scene that was out of Jacques Costeau; we saw loads of colorful fishes and a very, very large stingray (!) eek!! majestic though and a beautiful sea turtle and a few nurse sharks. We got over to St John and watched the sunset and had a lovely dinner at the Balcony. I took you up on the Asian restuarant suggestion our last night there and it was fabulous. We went to Magens Bay and then pretty much did not want to leave "our beach" because the views, the sea and the amenities were perfect!! I am very brown and very relaxed.

We just returned from a wonderful 10 day stay in this beautiful condo! There truly isn't a better condo at this resort ~ the furniture/decor within is lovely & the location/patio is the best! We stayed in another condo at this resort last year which was poorly maintained. The Daniels' take such great care to make you feel welcome and at home. We are already planning our stay for 2010.

Without a doubt this is the best unit on the best beach in St Thomas. The condo is beautifully furnished, very comfortable and has every amenity. It's location on the resort is terrific because it sits in the center of the property with walk-out access to the two beaches and the pool (great for keeping the cocktail refreshed). The one beach has a beautiful reef for snorkeling right off-shore. There's lots of shade under the seagrape trees. The other beach has wonderful views of St John and other islands as well as great sunrise views for early risers. We also loved having the marina so close. We took several excursions from the marina (snorkeling in St John, a four-island cruise, a fishing trip and parasailing). It was nice to be able to walk there and not to have to take the car. Easy access to Red Hook and its shops and restaurants was also a plus. We very much appreciated Rosanne and Darrell's readiness to answer all our questions and inquiries. They were very helpful. Our two weeks in paradise came to an end much too quickly, but when we return it will be to this lovely spot.

My son and I just returned from St. Thomas and I am happy to say we had the best vacation ever! My expectations were exceeded above and beyond anything I had imagined, which is a five star compliment in my book! Your condo's location on Sapphire Beach is perfect! We were the envy of many of the guests there who would stop and ask how we managed to get the best condo on the beach! It truly is in the best location on the resort. The pool and beach are just steps away, and the views are amazing from every possible angle. The pictures on the website of your condo and Sapphire Beach were lovely, but in no way do justice to how beautiful it really is there. Aside from the panoramic views, we were so pleased with the condo itself. It was perfect!! Everything was so clean, fresh and up-to-date. We were so comfortable there, and it really felt "homey"...i t is decorated beautifully, well-designed and had everything we needed. There was enough space to store all of our things, so it was easy to keep it uncluttered and clean.. Staying at your condo on Sapphire Beach was THE perfect vacation! We spent our days enjoying the beautiful beach, snorkling, and meeting new friends, and the breezy evenings in the warm pool or just beachcombing, and then going back to the condo for a homecooked meal and a movie or a game(great movie and board game selection, too!!). We ventured out only a few times and even rented a car one day to exploer the island, but is wasn't long before we both wanted to go "home" to our perfect spot..the pool..the beach. For us, there was no need to be anywhere else. Everything we came for was right there! I want to thank you again, Rosanne, for your hospitality and for being so accomodating! All we can say is AMAZING! Rosanne & Darrell were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. We felt very prepared for our trip to St. Thomas. The condo was very clean, beautifully decorated (loved the spa-like shower), well stocked with needed and bonus items, and in a prime location on the resort. The hammock was a wonderful bonus that made others jealous! The views from the unit were unbelievable...almost a full 180 degree view of paradise! Wonderful snorkeling was steps away from the condo. A highlight was swimming with the sea turtles! Another bonus was the location on the island...we liked being away from the craziness of Charlotte Amalie and close to the ferries in Red Hook. We had such a great time exploring St. Thomas and the surrounding islands. We would highly recommend this unit and the owners! Thanks again!!

My husband and I were in St. Thomas for a wedding. Everyone else stayed at the Wyndham. We heard many complaints about the Wyndham (rooms weren't that nice). We think this condo was nicer than the Wyndham, and at a better rate! Plus, the condo is clean, nicely decorated, has all amenities and is the PERFECT location. This unit is the best one at Sapphire Beach since you have a view of both beaches, and a view of St. John. Being right in front of the pool made it easy to relax at the pool, but run into the condo if we needed something. We loved the wrap around patio where we had our morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The hammock was put to use in the afternoon. We preferred a unit on the ground level so we could open the sliding glass doors and step directly onto the beach. The location of Sapphire Beach is perfect since Red Hook is nearby and the ferry to St. John is in Red Hook. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the condo, its location, and the value for our money. Also, the owners were very helpful with restaurant tips etc. before we left! This was truly a vacation for us. The condo was absolutely lovely, and the azure water and sky surrounding us were beyond description! You don't even have to leave Sapphire Beach to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing in the sun. We saw sea turtles, rays, and all sorts of tropical fish while snorkeling, and gorgeous flora, birds and lizards while walking. There is no problem getting transportation to towns. The owners are also wonderful, having taken the time to ensure that everything is set up for you to enjoy a slice of paradise. Just writing these comments makes me long to return! We thought your condo had the best location! We really liked the fact that it was an end unit because of the extra light from the slider and windows. The outside lounges and hammock were well used! The Dive shop was very helpful and courteous in setting up the chairs and providing the snorkeling equipment. The snorkeling was super! Great coral reefs with a wide variety of fish - and close to shore so their didn't need to be a strong swimmer. We did lose electricity and water for a short while - no big deal or inconvenience. We were disappointed that we were not able to "walk" to Red Hook. Since it was a short distance, we had planned to walk into town for dinners, but the road was too dangerous. Overall, we had a fantastic few days in paradise to break up the CT winter!

I had the most wonderful time staying at your condo, wish I could have stayed longer, and will most definately return. I visited friends during the 8 days I was on the island, and had opportunity to compare Sapphire Beach with other locations (from hilltop retreat to expensive resort). Your condo at Sapphire Beach was my favorite. One of my fondest memories is waking up early one morning to a light rain and a cool breeze. I brewed some coffee, sat on the patio and just relaxed. Oh, how peaceful. Of course, the sunny days spent discovering the beach, and snorkeling, were wonderful, too. Thanks again!

All we can say is.....wow! We are so glad we chose to rent this condo from Rosanne and Darrell. The place is even better than advertised....so comfortable and well maintained.
