Welcome to the beauty and tranquility that is Arrowhead Lakes. This sparkling vacation home is nestled in the woods on a quiet street between Big Choctaw pool and Beach 4. Our Mountain Chalet has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. It features a QUEEN master bedroom on the first floor with private bathroom that has an over-sized whirlpool soaking tub, double sinks and a glass enclosed corner shower. On the second floor there is a QUEEN bedroom with cable TV, a 3rd bedroom with bunk beds and a full size futon, loft with queen sleeper sofa and a full bathroom. Our home is located in the newer section of Arrowhead that has central sewer (no septic system problems to deal with!)
The loft is expanded and includes a QUEEN sleeper sofa and 26" cable TV and DVD/VCR player. Found on the first floor are the master bedroom suite; living room with gas fireplace, 37" LCD HDTV and DVD player; dining area with large table that seats 6 comfortably; fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, micro-wave, coffee maker and cooking utensils plus, a breakfast bar with 4 stools; Laundry area with washer and dryer; All season sun-room with exits to front and rear decks; Front deck has been expanded for plenty of room to relax. There are DVD's, video tapes, books and board games provided.
Wildlife is found in abundance around Arrowhead Lakes. White tail deer, red fox, wild turkey and water fowl reside here. For the fishermen, you will find trout, bass and pickerel in the lake. Of course, you will need to obtain a PA fishing license.
Our gated community has many amenities including: 2 lakes; beaches (4) that are lifeguard supervised; playgrounds; an awesome sledding hill; 3 in-ground pools (2 of which are heated); picnic pavilion; horseshoes; handicapped fishing pier and volleyball at the Island Pool; 7 tennis courts, Clubhouse with activities throughout the year; picnic areas and paved roads for biking.
We are conveniently located between the Jack Frost/Big Boulder ski areas and Camelback ski area which feature skiing, snowboarding and tubing in winter. In summer, Camelback has a water park. Also nearby you will find whitewater rafting, snowmobiling, horseback riding, antiquing and the Crossings Factory Outlets in Tannersville. Only minutes from Mount Airy Casino Resort!!!

Fall .... Sep 01-Dec 10 .. $400/fall weekend special
Mar 29-May 24 $400/weekend $700/week. Call for Holiday Rates.
$75 Cleaning fee. Weeks are Sat to Sat. Check-in 3pm/check out 11am.
Security Deposit $200; Must be at least 25 years old to rent;
No smoking and no pets allowed. Guest badges for use of amenities are required.
Arrowhead requires tenants to purchase gate cards for each vehicle ($25 each).

The house is beautiful and a perfect getaway! We had the perfect amount of room for a family of 5. Enjoyed everyday at the pools and lake. Spent every night on the deck relaxing and making happy memories. Already know where our next vacation rental will be!

We stayed last August and had a wonderful time. The house is great lots of room. Close to many places - restaurants,outlet shopping etc.If you wanted to swim the pool was not far or you could go to the lake. Very relaxing. Will do it again

We stayed at hte Shinny Shack for a week for out summer vacation. We really enjoyed it. The house was immaculate! Everything we needed was there for us, Can't wait to book for next year.

What a spectacular house! All the rooms were beautifully decorated and the furniture and beds were so comfortable. There was a fully equipped kitchen and a gorgeous bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub. There were plenty of movies and board games for everyone to enjoy.We had a great stay and hope to return again next year.

What a wonderful rental!!! This house was furnished perfectly with the most comfortable furniture and bedding. We slept soundly in a toasty cozy room, and cuddled for hours watching tv on the amazingly comfy couches. We had a wonderful stay and felt like we were 'at home'... except in a much more beautiful home than ours! Thanks for such a great rental, our vacation was perfect!
