A Magical Farm in the Smoky Mountains where Nature Rejoices . . .
Experience the comfort and coziness of a 1920’s farmhouse nestled amongst the Great Smoky Mountains. Recently renovated to include all of the comforts of home, The Gardener's House at Frog Holler combines a beautiful farmhouse with gardens, ponds, breathtaking mountain views on all sides and farm life to it’s fullest! For a virtual tour, please visit frogholler dot net. Experience real "country living" with cows, horses and chickens lazily grazing on neighboring mountainside pastures.
Enjoy a very special breakfast of fresh eggs from the pasture-ranged chickens at Frog Holler. Our eggs are the healthiest available, with bright orange yolks and flavor like you have never tasted before! Our spoiled and happy birds range through mountain pastures and fields, eat certified organic veggies and fruits and are not confined to fences. Delight in fresh-picked vegetables straight from the garden, such as Honey Select Corn, over a dozen varieties of squash and tomatoes, eggplant, okra, lettuces, a large variety of greens, brocolli, cauliflower, swiss chard, beets, cabbage, garlic, potatoes, and numerous varieties of beans, just to name a few. Frog Holler is a fully-functional farm with gardens of organic flowers, herbs, fruits and veggies, including a delicious array ranging from varieties found in Grandma's garden to the exotic. Imagine 100% organic produce straight from the garden to your table! If you have not experienced this before, you are in for a real treat. You cannot buy food like this in the grocery store!*
Relax on the porch swing or rockers while songbirds flutter amongst the flowers and birdhouses. Be mesmerized by the large variety of butterflies floating amongst the many blooms. Curl up in bed on evenings cool enough for a light blanket, even in July! Just open the windows for the cool nighttime breezes and experience "Mountain Air-Conditioning!" Be lulled to sleep by the night sounds of the frogs’ lullabies and the waterfall outside your bedroom window. You may even hear the mournful wail of a coyote in the distance.
Amongst the beautifully landscaped flower and vegetable gardens are two ponds, a large one in the garden area and another tableside by your kitchen window! Be greeted at your kitchen table each morning by large Koi fish from their window-side pond. Stroll down lavender-lined paths through gardens strewn with fountains and statuary. Enjoy all the comforts of a home, not a rental. You should find just about everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2005
Robyn Cammer, Rental Manager for The Gardener's House, which is family owned. Robyn moved to the beautiful Smoky Mountains from Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1999 with her parents to enjoy mountain and farm living.
Why the Owner Chose Waynesville
The farm is just about in the middle of everything! Even though it is in a very rural area of farms surrounded by beautiful mountains, we are only minutes from Downtown Waynesville and all it's great events--The best of both worlds. If we want a trip to the city, we are 20 minutes from Asheville. We are just over the mountain from Maggie Valley--about 10 minutes. And being only 2 miles from Interstate 40 gets us everywhere really fast.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The farm offers a serene atmosphere to get away from it all. Enjoy fresh veggies, fruit, flowers and eggs from the farm. It does not get any more "Local" than that! The farm is teaming with songbirds and much wildlife, butterflies, frogs, bees, hummingbirds. Just sitting on the deck in the afternoon is an experience you will not soon forget. There is so much activity between all the beautiful flowers.

COMMENT TAKEN FROM FARMHOUSE GUESTBOOK: Just what the doctor ordered -- a beautiful home to really relax and appreciate nature. Breakfast with the lovely sound of the waterfall and watching the Koi, falling asleep with the same wonderful sound and seeing the beautiful pond -- "priceless"! Thank you!

GUESTBOOK IN FARMHOUSE: This was the best vacation for us and our Leonberger dogs! It could not have been any better. It was just like a dream come true. This place is magical. The gardens are so beautiful with all the flowers and birds. We enjoyed the fish swimming in the pomd. This vacation was so relaxing. The surrounding area offers so many possibilities to hike and explore. The mountains are spectacular. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! We will never forget it. We love this area so much.

What a good time Buddy, (husband), Dexter (dog) and myself had staying in your lovely house and garden! Dexter especially enjoyed the deck. You know, when you go on vacation and are sleeping in "strange" beds, sometimes it can be really rough. Well, take it from someone recovering from total hip surgery--your beds were wonderful! Thank you for that.

TAKEN FROM GUESTBOOK IN FARMHOUSE: Thank you for creating this wonderful, magical garden. Don, "the-guy-raised-on-a-farm, laughed at my delight in the cows so close by. Your plantings are a bee, butterfly and bird sanctuary, so consequently Frog Holler is so alive with nature. We loved it! Thank you for your warm hospitality, too. We will see you again.

COMMENT TAKEN FROM GUESTBOOK IN FARMHOUSE: We had a wonderful time at your beautiful farmhouse! Our girls loved feeding the Koi and chickens--Margo nicknamed them “my girls”. We loved the town of Waynesville -- did lots of shopping and sightseeing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We had a great time at The Biltmore in Asheville -- enjoyed the gardens, winery and great restaurant. Spent some time at Ghost Town -- the gunfight was pretty cool. Our three girls loved the horseback riding at Queen Stables. I was a little concerned when my horse “Dusty”, started backwards, kicking the other horses, but I made it up the mountain and back! We built great memories here -- the highlight was adopting “Sadie”, the coonhound, on the 4th of July at the Waynesville celebration (from HAWA--Haywood Animal Welfare Association). We just couldn’t resist her soulful eyes! Hopefully Sadie will like the 13 hour drive home. Robyn, thank you so much for the beautiful retreat--we enjoyed all the fresh eggs and veggies and your wonderful hospitality. We could never forget Frog Holler! Fondly, The Webers (and Sadie)

COMMENT TAKEN FROM GUESTBOOK IN FARMHOUSE: Your place is a treasure, like something out of a storybook! Our city cat enjoyed the fish, cows and chickens. My husband liked feeding the fish and chickens. We explored the surrounding area from Asheville to Hendersonville to Pisgah National Forest to the lovely waterfalls--"a must see". Golf was great and just the right temperature and sun. Dining in Waynesville and Sylva was wonderful. Pizza at Nick & Nate's -- excellent. We had a super time at Frog Holler!
