Nestled just above the beautiful breakers of Stinson Beach, the "Casa Buena Vista" is a classic beach house with white water views of the Pacific Ocean, the beach and the surrounding hills of Mount Tamalpais State Park. The south facing deck runs the length of the house, gets sun all day long and is sheltered from the wind by the trees of the adjoining state preserve. From the large, private hot tub you can listen to the rhythm of breaking waves and count shooting stars while enjoying a glass of wine.
The house is surrounded by one acre of lush gardens that include native flowers & plants, succulents and cacti that attract butterflies and humming birds. The five-acre Monarch Butterfly Preserve next door offers sightings of falcons, owls and other wildlife. At the Casa, you are surrounded by the sounds, sights and sensations of nature.
The living room/dining room is spacious and welcoming with a natural pine cathedral ceiling, spectacular views, comfy couches and chairs and a wood burning stove. From the bedrooms you can hear the sound of the surf at night. This is a perfect place for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. Unlike many beach rentals, the Casa is just a two-minute walk from local restaurants, galleries, the beach park, and even an old fashioned general store. So during your stay, you can park your car and forget it for awhile.

Additional accommodations: Tucked away on the property is a lovely one-bedroom cottage (the "Honeymoon Cottage") with a carved-wood and wicker frame CA-king-sized bed, private hot tub and deck, and beautiful ocean views. $400/night for first two nights (2-night minimum)
$350/night for each additional night
$2200/week (7th night is free)
Week-long Rentals only (Friday to Friday) from June to September
If you have more than six people, the house can be rented together with the
charming one-bedroom "Honeymoon Cottage"(VRBO #126253) on the same property
