Designed by the owners to render the most stunning views from each of its 26 windows, this 1900 square foot adobe gives one a sense of quiet seclusion.
The floors are radiant heated amber concrete, the living area has ten foot ceilings and a kiva fireplace, there are vigas, granite counter tops and serene colored plaster throughout. The lines of the architecture are graceful and refined. Every effort has been made towards an environmentally sustainable and thermally efficient, passive solar home. This home is set up to be virtually allergy free.
The master suite features a natural latex queen bed and faces the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Have coffee out the French doors looking directly towards this magnificent range, so close you feel like you can touch them. The master bath has a large tiled walk-in shower and a deep soaking tub. The second bedroom also has a natural latex queen bed and adjoining bathroom with a walk-in slate shower. Step out of this bedroom, to an expansive portal and view the western horizons. Or step out even further, just ½ mile walk through this rural area to the quaint town of Arroyo Seco where there are little shops, restaurants and a café with Internet access.
