Living in alfama for some days gave us a taste of the real Lisbon. With the sights , railroadstations and shopping just an inspiring 20 minutes walk or taxitrip away the location is excellent. Thxs also to TTL staff which helped us with the small things that came up faster than using the concierce on a hotel. Family of 4 , Oslo Norway

We stayed in apartment for a weekend in June 2011. The agent who greeted us was both punctual and helpful. The location was excellent. The apartment was well maintained and very spacious for five people. One minor issue was the leak that seeped out when showering in the main bathroom. This was a minor complaint to an otherwise pleasant weekend. We met a lovely cat christened "acid” for his ph scale sensitivity who we all wanted to take home because of his wise head and wry smile. Great location in the centre of alfama. But the taxi was not able to take us to the door because the streets are too narrow. We then got lost in the maze of little streets, although the apartment was very close to where we were dropped off at the Fado Museum. (Get directions from the Fado Museum to the door from TravellingtoLisbon) The welcome was very good, with a lot of detail given about places we might be interested in visiting. The apartment was very pleasant, with a lovely balcony off one of the bedrooms where we took breakfast. The big problem for us: there are no windows that open to the outside in 2 of the 3 bedrooms - a problem if you like to sleep with the window open. Otherwise it was great.

The apartment was very easy to find and direct from the airport. Mario was very helpful in helping us with the check in and provided us with some useful tips. The apartment was a good size for our group (three of us travelled to Lisbon) and we all had a room each. Only down side was the bathroom shower protector was not good and the water went everywhere. The rooms were also very hot at night and could benefit from a/C or a fan. But overall a good vlaue flat for a short visit to Lisbon.

Good position. spacious and clean appartment. the only negative thing is that we read on the website there were 3 bathroom, but really there was 1 and a shower room. definitely it's a happy choice to live lisbon with friends.I suggest it.

The appartment was very nice with a splendid view over alfama. The guy who met us in the appartment was very nice and gave us the needed information. The narrow streets were full of small grosseries, restaurants and people. The portugues are nice and friendly people. I will defently visit Portugal again. The dobble bed in the small room was not so good and the curtain was a very dusty.

Our "travel group" had a wonderful time in Lisbon and part of the fun was apartment 37. Three flights of stairs at the end of a day of touring the sites of Lisbon, seemed a little intimidating at first. Sitting on the balcony, while the sun set, with family and friends sipping a little wine, overlooking Lisbon and the alfama community and the cooling breeze, was well worth the 59 steps to the apartment."59 Steps" became our mantra.

I found out about "Traveling to Lisbon" from comments on a New York Times website. I was quite impressed with how professional and easy all the arrangements were. They were very responsive with email correspondence. Meeting Raul for the keys for the apartment was easy and he was helpful and friendly. It was great having an apartment for two nights in the Alfama district. The advice about taxis was good, but it was too difficult for us to locate departures to find a taxi - we just went to the arrival taxis.

Hola! la verdad es que todo estuvo genial. La señorita que nos atendió fue muy simpática, la casa estaba perfecta, y la zona muy buena. Pasamos unos dias maravillosos, y recomiendo a cualqueira que contrate los servicios de esta inmobiliaria.

The apartment is nicely located in the old Alfama area and quiet. It was close to tramways and station. The balcony was large enough to welcome 8 people, the living room and the kitchen were well-furnished. It would have been useful to have 2 toilets. One remark regarding the bed in the living-room: the spring bed was not confortable at all and we preferred putting the mattress on the floor... not convenient!

Appartement grand, propre, tout est très bien. Il manquait le lave-vaisselle, mais on en n'avait pas besoin. Aménagement très complet, et avec goût. Mais il a fallu du temps pour le trouver le premier jour!On peut le recommander sans problème.

3 nights in a fantastic apartment was a real treat after camping near a beach for a few days.Really friendly staff, beautiful views and the Olympics on Eurosport – what more can you ask for!?!Lisbon was surprisingly great, Alfama is so pretty, the castle, Belem and the centre. Would also totally recommend the aquarium (amazing!) and the shopping centre at the metro near there – well worth a day there.It was a great success!Lots of Love + Obrigados

Apartment was exactly as shown on website. Would only say the bedrooms were a little smaller than we thought, but we still fit into them fine. Would suggest that person who receives guest in apartment put appliance manuals out so non-Europeans can figure out how to use the washer and cooktop a little easier! Otherwise everything was perfect. Raul was thorough and timed his arrival with our’s just right.The apartment is in a lovely area on Lisbon. Not heavily touristed, and all our neighbors were warm and generous in their greetings. Would definitely stay there again.

Appartment was really nice, well situated next (100mtrs) to the Fado museum. Easy acces to everything and service of Pedro and Alexandra wonderfull. Nice to have a washer/dryer you go home and within 10 minutes you are unpacked with everything clean. The view is great especially from bedroom 1. Next time surely travelling to lisbon again. Este fin de año del 2006, hemos estado un grupo de amigos en el apartamento 37. La relación calidad-precio del apartamento es muy buena, asi como la limpieza y comodidad. Los propietarios han sido muy amables y han estado atentos por nuestro bienestar en todo momento. Total confianza para proximos viajes y recomendación por nuestra parte a nuestroa amigos. Un posible inconveniente que encontramos es que la mesa de la barra de la cocina no es suficientemente grande para comer todos los huespedes alli. No estaria nada mal equipar la casa con una mesa grande y sillas. See you!!
