We stayed here for a week in March and really enjoyed being so close to all the shopping, and the beach as well. The beautiful mountains and the rainbows were a lovely daily treat from each of the lanais. We loved being able to walk to Waikiki for dinner and then stroll back afterward in the evening breeze. We didn't drive the entire time we were there and loved it! A couple of days we didn't even leave the building but instead lazed around the pool deck (on the 6th floor of the building), took a nap and then in the evening decided what to do for dinner. I loved being able to fix my own coffee in the morning, or have a snack without having to go out somewhere and pay top dollar. Roger, the owner, is very responsive to any requests and is full of suggestions about places to go and things to see. I'll definitely book it again next time we come to Hawaii. Thanks Roger!

My family and I stayed for a week here and it provided all that we needed for a perfect stay. We enjoyed the location as it was close to everything (within walking to shopping, restaurants, and the beach). We had plenty of room as my husband and I shared the bedroom and our two boys (ages 12 and 9) slept in the front room. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen which was convenient and also able to do laundry (a must with kids!). The close proximity to the park was also a plus for morning walks/exercise. Our host was kind and helpful. Great place to stay especially if you plan on staying a while. We will definitely be back!

Not a very good stay for us. From the get-go, the shower was only a trickle. When we finally got in touch with someone, we given two options: either go w/o a shower while they get someone to fix it, or suffer. We suffered. We were not offered any compensation for this major inconvenience other than an half-hearted apology. The only a/c is in the bedroom. The rest of the apartment is uncomfortably hot. The apartment is one door away from the trash chute. The apartment reeks of garbage. Not only that but people use the chute at all hours which wakes you up in the middle of the night. The staff of the building is hostile/unfriendly. One particularly nasty older woman works the parking garage booth. We had to deal with her slowness and griping every day. She would lecture us over using a credit card, or paying for each night separately every single time we exited.
Owner response:I must say in all the years i have had this unit, this is the first negative review, but it is a review.I am sorry they were unhappy. I as the owner was not informed of the shower situation for 3 days into their stay( of 1 week), but upon hearing of it, sent someone right over to asses the problem and get a new shower head installed and cold water valve ordered. As the owner I wish I had gotten a call about any of the other complaints, I would have gladly handled them immediately. My guests experience is my #1 goal as can be seen by the other reviews.

I recently spent 5 weeks at this condo, and found it to be very well equipped. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and even a great blender. There are plenty of towels (including beach towels), bedding and beach supplies. The views are incredible and the lanai is a lovely place to eat and relax. I found the facilities to be convienent and clean. We made good use of the sauna, pool, laundry room and convienence store. I would highly recommend this condo for great value, security and location. Roger was very prompt with returning the damage deposit as well. I can't wait to return to this home away from home! Thank you for a great place to stay.

My wife and i stayed in the condo for 2 months and we loved it. The condo itself is beautifully decorated, and the location in Waikiki is perfect. The views from the lanai are magnificent, especially at night. I highly recommend this unit.

We really enjoyed this condo. What a relief to stay in a place so clean. it was very nice without all the clutter we often encounter in vacation rentals. Spotlessly clean! The location turned out to be perfect for us (the east end of Waikiki). Friends stayed on the west end of town and we found this location preferable. we felt driving from the east end of Waikiki was more convenient that the west; better access to the H1 and to many of the sites just because the traffic flow was better. There are great views from the 12th floor, and the owner seemed to have thought of everything re: amenities. Our walk to the beach was about 5 minutes. We'd stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The owner was great to deal with as well. Very helpful and good tips. The condo is absolutely amazing. Very clean & modern decor, fells like your own home. the views are spectacular, and the location is great close to the strip, beach & restraunts. i will definitely stay here again. My parents stayed in a hotel and i would gladly give up daily maid service to stay in this condo instead (it was nice to have cleaning supplies as well) Thank you so much for allowing us to use your condo! 10 out of 10

My family of four had a great stay in your condo. We loved the location and the great view. The 2 TV's and full kitchen were wonderful. Everything was in great shape and well planned out and cared for. We will stay here when we are in the area again.

The condo fit our needs perfectly while in Oahu. Two blocks off the beach, great view of the mountain. The personnel down at the hotel desk were very friendly. Easy access to public transportation, if you don't have a car, and an easy walk to mostly everything in Waikiki. Except for a couple of meals out, we actually cooked in the condo and had some nice quiet time as well as the hubbub of Waikiki. Thank you for a nicely designed getaway.

Just spent two of the best weeks of my life in paradise. What made the whole trip so great was our accomadations at this lovely place we stayed. It's had an absolutely wonderful view of the mountains from the picture windows in the living room and from the patio off the bedroom which also over looked the beautiful swimming pool and hot tub. Don't know about you but I love those hot tubs, oh and the sauna is just steps from it. Having a couple of teenagers it was really nice to be able to eat some of our meals in the unit, especially enjoyed our dinners in the evening out on the patio, or was it my coffee in the morning out on the patio? Any way doesn't really matter, just enjoyed being able to be outside but just steps from the kitchen and bathroom. The wife and I could have sometime to our selves locking the kids out of our bedroom where we could enjoy some piece and watch what we wanted to watch on tv while they had the living room to themselves and could fight between themselves over what they wanted to watch. This place was not only heaven to stay in but let me tell you where it's located is fabulous. Walking distance to everything. The beach just a couple of blocks a way, a super market just a couple of blocks down the street and a short walk or bus ride to world class shopping, movies and anything else you could possibly want with hundreds of restaurants to temp your palite. All in all it was just a wonderful experience. This is our third year in a row we have vacationed in Hawaii and by far the best experience yet. We have already booked our stay for next year to be sure we get to stay in this lovely apartment again. Believe me, you won't be disappointed should you also book it for your next visit to paradise.

This condo was rented for business purposes; i was attending to business in Hawaii. Staying in this condo was awesome; the full size kitchen was a god send. I had choices, the ability to eat in after an exhausting day or i could go out to dinner at the multiple choices i had to pick from. The Condo is beautiful. I had workspace to use my laptop with the provided high speed internet. I also had the option to sit out on the Lanai (patio) to do work. I didn't try it because i know i can't work while i'm staring out at the beautiful view. I also had the joy of watching the sunrise from the Lanai or really anywhere in the condo. Being on the 12th floor was great because i slept with the Lanai doors open every night. Another wonderful thing about the condo has nothing to do with the condo, but with the fact that i was about 5 minutes from the beach. I enjoyed walking in the surf or the boardwalk along Waikiki. I think this was the most relaxing business trip i've ever been on. By the way parking was a breeze, behind the building there is parking at $.25 an hour. Thanks Roger for the ease of use and the ease of registration. I enjoyed every bit of my time in your condo.

We love staying at the island Colony because of the location close to the beach and the strip and this condo is much nice than the standard rooms at the hotels. Also, having access to beach chairs was a bonus. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was very helpful in responding to any questions and ensuring that i was satisfied.

My parents, sister and i stayed at the above Condo. My mom and sister stayed for the first week and dad and i stayed for the second week. The Condo is tastefully decorated, well kept, and with plenty of room for the four of us. The view of the ocean and beyond is spectacular. We like to cook and were able to do that easily as the kitchen was well equipped for four. It was very special to dine on the lanai with a view. This is the best value in town.
