Located in Tahoe Paradise, this is a woodsy neighborhood setting situated at the base of Angora Wilderness, with easy access to Highway 50, stores, shopping, sports activities, and nature. Forest service owned woodsy property on side and across street with ample property sizes throughout neighborhood makes this area next-to-nature while still close to modern conveniences, attractions and amenities.
Snow season and winter holidays is of course the peak time. Convenient to three major snow parks; Sierra, Heavenly, and Kirkwood, and several snow sports, our location offers you easy choices for snow experiences.
Summers here are dreamy. July 4th holiday is also a peak holiday and great time to visit. Our location is based at the foot of several great hiking and biking locations. The lake shore is an easy drive and offers numerous lake sports or shore sunning/swimming options for all age groups.

Our Cabin
The cabin is a TWO BEDROOM with ONE FULL BATHROOM plus ONE HALF BATHROOM. Fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining area, fireplace, deck, and lots of trees. It is well cared for and updated. Approximately 1000 sq feet.

Our love of Tahoe's lifestyle and activities has always drawn us to seeking to own a place there. We purchased the property in 2005; furnished it in a comfortable, fresh mountain getaway theme. We visit and manage the property regularly and extend it's availability to our rental guests. We work diligently to create a stay you will enjoy; a stay that is unequal to a hotel or common vacation home. Having traveled extensively, it's small touches we focus on that help your stay a personalize time to remember.

I had a surprise party at the end of October 2011 for my husband and booked this charming home just down the street from where I live, for out of town guests that needed more then the floor space that I had to offer. We were all impressed with how upgraded and comfortable this conveniently located home was. We loved the location as it was just a short walk to "party central", but the guests could escape back to peace and quiet and a good night's sleep. Booking the home was an easy process, as I had our son do it from his home in Chicago, so that there would be no evidence on my computer for the birthday boy to find. Excellent experience....THANK YOU so much for the use of your lovely home!

I stayed over 3 nights in the cabin located at Kickapoo street. That was an excellent place. We all loved it VERY MUCH! The living-room and bedrooms are very clean and cozy. The kitchen and bathrooms are shining and clean. They have a very nice balcony where you can enjoy a coffee on a table set. And there is even a BBQ site in the woods right behind the cabin, where you can set up a camp fire and enjoy BBQ!! Isn't it amazing? The cabin is about 6 miles from the lake shore, which I think is a perfect distance as it is not far enough to get you bored of the driving while it is far enough to stay away from the crowds and enjoy a nice getaway!! If you stay in the cabin, my number 1 recommendation is the Fallen Leaf Lake, which is very close to the cabin. It is a much more beautiful lake than Lake Tahoe. No big crowds. It is unbelievably beautiful. BE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT!!!

I don't want to write this review because this place is so wonderful - I don't want it to get all booked up with no room for US! The pictures do not do it justice. Our family had an adventurous and and fun vacation here last weekend and we're so sad to go. The owner is very kind and helpful, and the house was perfect for us two adults, 10 year old son and pup. Cozy living room, bedrooms and amazing scenery out back- so quiet and peaceful. We went swimming in snow! Easy drive to Sierra at Tahoe. Excellent!

The cabin is very roomy, clean and comfortable. Everything you need is provided for you!! Our family had such a great time! The cabin is near lots of walking trails and very quiet. It is also located in an area that provides serenity and not a lot of neighbors, but it is also near enough town to run for groceries or even have pizza delivered! DR is a gracious hostess and always available to answer questions. Highly recommend this property- we can't wait to go back! :-)
