This is a true Lake Home. Almost the entire front and sides of this custom lake home are glass. It feels like you are on the water even when you are inside. There are spectacular views from every room in the house. And best of all, only a few steps to the water.
The kitchen is stainless, granite and slate, it has two ovens, an island with a radius granite bar and bar stool seating. It looks like something you would find in a custom home magazine. There is a giant stone fireplace in the living room and a cushy leather sofa and chair for watching TV or relaxing by the fire. Also in the living area is a 300 disc CD changer with Bose surround sound.
Downstairs you will find an xtra bedroom/bath with a mini wet bar with ice maker and a weight machine.
There is a covered balcony on every level and a large deck literally hanging over the water in front. A large double gas grill is provided for whatever fires up your appetite.
The home faces west on one of the largest bodies of water on Smith Lake. And the sunsets...well they're just simply amazing.
The only thing that could make them better is enjoying them from the hot tub.
The custom double boathouse has its own wet bar, a large swim deck with swings and a diving board for the kids. At night, the underwater lighting lights up the lake for an evening swim.
Cullman is about 20 min away with movies, shopping, food and whatever else you might need.

My family and I had a great week on Smith Lake. The house was great and the view was spectacular!! We have grown children and they really enjoyed the clean, deep water on Smith Lake. The house is in a perfect place to just sit and enjoy the water from the balconies (one on every floor!!) The "toys" on the boat dock was perfect for my kids to play on. The swings and the rope kept them occupied for hours when they were not out in the boat enjoying water sports. We will definetly rent again. It was by far the best rental property we have ever been on.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.
