  We enjoyed a stay at Rockaway beach for our 2nd time in 2 years. The location is one block from the beach with partial ocean view from one window. The condo is modern with much attention to details by the owners. It was quite comfortable for our family. Rockaway beach is a large, white sand beach which is not crowded. We brought our kite, made sand castles and "ran the waves" with our six year old. One day we crabbed at Jetty Fishery Marina (10 minute drive) and enjoyed the thrill of catching then eating fresh crab. Another day we visited Cape Meares Lighthouse outside of Lincoln city. We also visited the hot sauce wall at the Smoke House restaurant. That restaurant and Rockaway beach were featured in a recent AAA magazine article. I recommend staying at Troy's condo in Rockaway beach if you want an special relaxing beach get away.

  The condo fit all of our requirements perfectly. We were fortune to have good weather to spent time on the beach and exploring the town. Would absolutely do it again.

  Thank you for the excellent accomodations. The covered parking was a welcome benefit from the rainy weekend. The furnishings were just right. Very well done kitchen area. Comfortable rooms. Thank you very much.

  We enjoyed a great time with great weather with great friends at a fantastic condo! We would go back for sure. Place was very clean and very comfortable with every amenity you could think of. The place is top notch!

  I had the pleasure of staying here for the Christmas Holiday. The condo was just as immaculate as the pictures and it was a nice getting away.

  The condo was a fantastic spot to bring the family, watch the storm and take a weekend to relax. Our kids loved that there were even toys to play with, and we loved how all of the small details were considered. Very excited to come back for a summer trip!

  Our week stay at the Rockaway Beach Pad was a wonderful experience. The amenities were carefully considered and chosen by the condo owner and it was obvious. To our benefit this unit also had parking spots near the door next to the elevator making loading/unloading simpler. The condo location was better than anticipated. Access to the beach was only out the door and down a short pathway. The unit provided for all kinds of beach activities [towels, toys, bbq, etc.] but we limited ourselves to the folding chairs to watch the sunset each evening. A nice bonus was the outdoor hose set up for rinsing off before returning indoors. You could peek out the living room window for a beach weather update and open the window to hear the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the provisions for electronics was admirable. Our favorite thing was the well appointed kitchen! Everything was considered for our ease and use. We found the crockpot and nice wine glasses to be nice touches as well as the blender and full knife set. Rockaway has a pleasant array of shops and restaurants and the staff at the little grocery store was great. Flamingo Jim's and Dragonfly Sisters are favorites right in town. Garibaldi has a wonderful bakery and good fish market. Tillamook has the Cheese factory, Debbie D's Jerky & Sausage factory, and Blue Heron French Cheese Co. wine tasting. Cannon Beach has Mo's for chowder, Pizza de Fetta for one of the best hand tossed crusts, Bella Espresso for great fruit smoothies, and right nearby is the Oregon Gallery gifts. Guests will not have any problems finding things to do and see in the area. [Be aware that many shops take Tuesdays off.] Our only confusion was in locking the door. It took us many tries before figuring out the door must be held tight before turned the deadbolt. Once we figured it out we were impressed that we had no need to carry keys.

  My husband and I stayed at this condo with two other couples. The condo was much larger than we expected, so there was plenty of room for all. The property was steps from the beach, extremely clean, and furniture and decor was updated beautifully. The security to get into the building was a pleasant surprise ... parking garage and elevator have keypads, along with condo doors. We were able to walk easily to restaurants and shopping in Rockaway, and more selections are within driving distance. The owner was very helpful in answering questions and we would highly recommend this property. The only downfall is that they do not allow pets, but this is understandable if they're catering to guests that could have allergies. We would definitely stay here again.

  We love this condo! My husband, my mother, my 2 babies, and me thoroughly enjoyed staying a weekend at this wonderful place. We were all impressed with the size of the space, the modern and comfortable decor, and the proximity to the beach. Assigned garage parking was very convenient and the elevator was a lifesaver. The owners were great to work with - very expedient and courteous. We will definitely be back!

  My husband and I stayed at the beach rental for a week in June. It was our first time to visit Oregon, and we absolutely loved our time there! The rental was extremely clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. We spent most of our time exploring the surrounding areas and walking/running on the beach. I can see why the owners selected this location for their rental. There are many things to do in the area, and it is absolutely beautiful! The owners were very easy to work with and e-mail/phone communication during the rental process was prompt. We would definitley recommend a stay at this great rental!

Cancellation policy:

Terms of Rental Agreement: 1. Arrival and Departure Times: Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on the arrival day and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. on the departure day. Late check-outs may be charged $25 for each half-hour after 11:00 a.m. unless other arrangements have been made with Owner prior to arrival. 2. Rent: Tenant agrees to pay the total amount due 30 days prior to the arrival date or as indicated below. If the arrival date is more than 30 days from the rental agreement date, a deposit of 2 nights rent is required to reserve the home and is applied to total balance due. Payment in full for 2 night rentals is due at time of reservation. 3. Cancellation: A cancellation more than 30 days from the arrival date will result in a $75 cancellation fee. A cancellation less than 30 days but more than 15 days, from the arrival date will result in a loss of 50% of rental fee. Cancellations within 15 days of rental period will forfeit entire rental fee (security deposit checks will be shredded). All cancellations must be in writing. If deposits or rents are paid using a credit card, any refunds issued will be net of processing costs. 4. Cleaning: A cleaning fee will be charged for the home to be inspected, sanitized and cleaned after your departure. You are required to leave the property in the same general condition that you received it by make sure dishes are done and put away and that the home is generally picked up. Please strip beds and gather all used towels and linens and start one load of laundry before leaving. 5. Pets and Smoking: Absolutely no smoking or pets please. Any violation of this rule will result in the forfeiture of Tenant’s entire deposit. 6. Occupancy Tax: The city of Rockaway charges a 7% occupancy tax on all vacation rentals. The state of Oregon charges a 1% occupancy tax on all vacation rentals. These taxes will be added to the rental charge and is due at the time of your rent payment. 7. What we supply: The property is equipped and set up as a fully furnished property that will include bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels as well as a fully equipped kitchen. You may want to bring any specialty cooking utensils, and personal items such as shampoo and toiletries. 8. Hold Harmless: Owner does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither do we accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply in water, gas, electricity or plumbing. Nor will Owner accept liability for any loss damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control. a. Amenities are to be used at your own risk. In the event of emergency dial 911. b. No running or reckless play allowed on decks. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times on deck. c. No smoking or FIREWORKS of any kind on the premises. d. Please use common sense while visiting the beach/ocean. 9. Acknowledgement: The undersigned has read the foregoing prior to execution and acknowledges receipt of a copy. By signing this agreement, as a renter, you are acknowledging that you are above 25 years of age. This rental agreement and any modifications, including a photocopy or fax, may be signed in one or more counterparts, each of which will be deemed an original and all of which taken together will constitute one and the same instrument. In any action or proceeding arising out of this agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees costs in addition to any other relief award. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE RENTING A PRIVATE HOME. PLEASE TREAT IT WITH THE SAME RESPECT THAT YOU WOULD YOUR OWN HOME. THANK YOU!
