Cook with Fridgidaire gas range/convection/electric oven and see water views through the walls of windows that allows enjoying your family when cooking. Breakfast dining in or out to catch the early birds and dinner at the large dining table inside or on the deck. Rehoboth is really a multifaceted fun destination with many annual programs as free beach concerts and art/antique shows throughout the summer. Not far to Lewes up the canal by boat or car for history and the Ferry crossing to Cape May, NJ. Restaurants are new and exciting and range from pizza delivery to ethnic and fine gourmet dining. Spend some time shopping on Rehoboth Avenue...great brand names like Coldwater, Ralph Lauren, Vanity Fair so many more available at outlets with tax-free savings. Tuesdays at the new Rehoboth park farmer's market from 3-6 in the afternoon..Henlopen art league located adjacent in Henlopen area.. for shows and lessons. Catch up with all brochures at the visitor's center right off the circle and the new Rehoboth Museum now open just next door. Be sure to get the free local paper, "Delaware Coast Press", out on Thursday for local news of the area. Our beach is long and deep..good for walkers to hike up to the town or the WWII tower relic of patrols for submarines and foreign landing parties. Enjoy town's boardwalk for early morning walks and the good fun arcade with kids rides and games at the end of the boardwalk. The beautiful grass barrier on the town's boardwalk has grown and wooden paths go thru it to the beach. Many shops for browsing along the walk with food and beach gifts. Bikes certain hours only. |
