Keywords: Dock on the Marina for your boat..walk to beach in couple minutes with long deep sand and two or more lifeguards trained and practiced. Two at swimming pool also.
Crabbing on your dock, swimming in the ocean with a dip enroute home at North Shores Club pool to cool off and boardwalk visits in the evening makes memories that are the "beach". Have very private sun bathing outside/inside ...enjoy dining while watching the boat activities, and the soothing sounds of the small waterfall trickle in the background. The furnishings are contemporary and handsome with folk art and nautical decor. All of the above are the bonus of a very quiet and private home site. The beach is for sheer enjoyment,wide and very safe. Six guards on duty(two at each post) they practice daily the care of swimmers also handle rental umbrellas and lounge chairs..check in at the pool for umbrellas ..we have sand chairs for your use and a carrier with baloon tires to tote toys, drinks, towels and lotions back and forth to the beach.
Call ahead to reserve your beach lounge chairs and umbrella. The umbrella is placed in the sand for you at your preferred spot.
The house provides four bedrooms with queen beds ..the fifth is a bunk room with four bunks..all with pillows/duvets/blankets. BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS (EXTRA PILLOW TOP MATTRESS SIZE)in queens..FOUR queens, .fOUR.twins.for the bunks and BEACH and PERSONAL towels. Cook with Frigidaire gas cooktop, convection with electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. Just discovered the quiet of the dishwasher..cool.. Enjoy water views thru the walls of windows that allow enjoying your family when cooking. Breakfast dining in or out and watch the birds and ducks while dining at the large dining table inside or at six seated table on the deck.
Rehoboth is really a multifaceted fun destination with many annual programs as free beach concerts and art/antique shows throughout the summer. Not far to Lewes up the canal by boat or car for history and the Ferry crossing to Cape May, NJ. Restaurants are new and exciting and range from pizza delivery to ethnic and fine gourmet dining. Spend some time shopping on Rehoboth Avenue...great brand names like Coldwater, Ralph Lauren, Vanity Fair so many more available at outlets with tax-free savings. Tuesdays at the new Rehoboth park. Farmer's market from 12-6 Tuesday afternoon at the park at the end of Columbia Street.
Henlopen Art League located adjacent in Henlopen area.. for shows and lessons. Catch up with all brochures at the visitor's center right off the circle as you drive in from the highway and the new Rehoboth Museum now open just next door. Be sure to get the free local paper, "Delaware Coast Press", out on Thursday for local news of the area. We provide the Washinton POst delivery each morning delivered out front on the lawn. Our beach is long and deep..good for walkers to hike up to the town or to the WWII tower, a relic of patrols for submarines and foreign landing parties. Enjoy town's boardwalk for early morning walks and the good fun arcade later with kids rides and games at the end of the boardwalk. The beautiful grass barrier on the town's new South boardwalk has grown and wooden paths go thru it to the beach. Many shops for browsing along the walk with food and beach gifts. Early bikes on boardwalk OK..usually before 10 AM. Very secure with the drive by patrol checking around and about. Our home has both video and voice for checking the visitors at the door. We always close and lock up when out for shopping etc. Come and relax with your family and friends..this is good for you..!!

- Air Conditioning : All the interior rooms are air conditioned...the atrium with bubble fountain request the doors kept closed to keep the a/c comfortable thru out the house.
- Linens Provided : Pillows plentiful,light weight blankets also..but the bed sheets, pillow cases, bath towels are personal so bring those. Also if wished a mattress cover. There is one on the new mattresses..they are the larger size for pillow tops.
- Washer : Maytag in the laundry room between the office space and front bedroom/ dryer in the same space..

- Off Street Parking : 0ff street parking..the property has a demi-lune circle in the front as well as drive way on side for closer parking.We park plenty of cars but only on the driveway..none allowed on the street..

- Refrigerator : Newest style Samson fridge with ice maker and freezer..bought to fit into new designed kitchen. Two freezers on left side top and bottom..same for fridge on the right. Ice maker and water included in design.

- Balcony : At the rear of the cottage overlooking the yacht basin. 40 ft. deck with lower full deck for sunbathing, reading and enjoy the many different boats going down the to the canal..
- Lanai : Courtyard with waterfall fountain and atrium roof with large screen panels..sun and rain welcomed. This is covered with solar sreening to reduce the heat in the cottage.
- Gazebo : We call it a pergola..but it is NEW and quite handsome ..installed just to fit the outside deck space and provide some shade there and inside..custom done with great attention to the finish,,,lighted softly at night with sensor to turn off and on early in the morning..be sure to adjust for your pleasure.

- Lakefront : Private marina..really neat for visiting boats. Dockage for your boat or canoe/kayak at our cottage dock out back. Boat rentals locally "Sharks cover watersports" 1-866-436-8500''kayaks, sea-doo etc. at Fenwick Island or Pontoo Expresso...Rehoboth at 302-682-5017 another Rehoboth Marina Ventures..302-226-2012 pontoon and fishing rentals..Call early for all..The marina has just been dug deeper for removal of silt..so we may be seeing a bit larger boats..the fish are many and the ducks, all kinds, the herons spend the early morning fishing for breakfast at low tide.
- Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details : We look across to the marina..enjoying the fronds and huge jap black pines grown along the waterfront shore..This is the best view in the commuity of North Shores...it has not changed in 50+ years..bring your boat, canoe or kayak and put it out back..the tide comes and goes so that is a real treat to watch..we also see many fish hopping out to catch a bug..herons come in to feed at low tide...this is like having a nature park at your dockside..the crabs at low tide are plentiful..so with a chicken neck and string you can show the children and they are busy catching blue crabs.!!!!!!!!Bring them in and pop them in the hot boiling water ..then with newspapers on the table knock out the crab. We have big young people who bring their friends here just to show them this...crab cakes come from here!!!!!!!!

The Unique Benefits at this House
Private swim club and tennis..children's pool attached and two guards on duty..two tennis courts by reserve..our property is waterfront with minutes walk to the ocean..furnished with comfort and style..plenty of space but very quiet..no groups allowed and only familes permitted to rent.
Bring a canoe, kayac, or small boat..dock it out back..beach has been replenished with deep and long space..six guards on duty with chairs and umbrellas available for rent..prereserve with phone call..see our website.good for all children, parents and grandparents.

We came to Bethany to check out rental cottages..poured rain..so we drove North to Rehoboth and noticed in Dewey Beach..some new architecture and design,met with the sales group and Dan Anderson, the owner, who took us to North Shores, a new area..we liked the location and bought the lot and house .we moved in and christened the cottage on the 4th of July..all crossed the threshold together, old Scottish tradition for good luck..singing Four Cheers for the Red, White and Blue..we call our home "Four Cheers" and enjoy the colors always of Red, White and Blue. Much time and happiness lives there..

My comments are that this is a full and well set home..when not rented our children come with guests and know that the same finishings are here with all the trimmings..space is very precious today..we have plenty of it..after all these years we have gathered enough to be comfortable for all..we have many requests for a few nights but stay with our belief that a week is the minimum..have longer rentals but that depends on your choice. So come and enjoy..the view is the same as years ago..even better..we see only the water..no townhouses nor other buildings..much luck.. Right now we are here..December 12th and are delighted with the ducks and their fishing..three brillant neck couples and a bunch of bobbers..with a huge hunting hawk flying above..thanks..ms
