We stayed at the Blue Lagoon the last week of September and the weather was perfect. It was a relaxing vacation for us and our 2 year old. Very peaceful, not crowded during this time and the pool and beach were wonderful. The house is clean and perfect for a small family vacation! We will return!

Our family would like to say "Thank You" to Paul and Cheryl for the great vacation we had. We have done the condo in Destin trip for a few years but this takes the prize. In addition to the wonderful home we loved the beautiful beach, HUGE community pool and the quiet safe feeling around the area. The whole rental process was professionally handled and painless. We look forward to returning soon.

This home is a perfect place for family. Loved everything about our stay over spring break. The community is very family oriented and is conveniently located. The bed in the master bedroom was AMAZING. The owners were very accomadating and a pleasure to work with. We are already planning our next trip and this is our first choice.

The Blue Lagoon is a jewel in this quaint, beautiful beach community. The house is located in “Seacrest Beach North” (a very safe family-friendly neighborhoodand) and it is adjacent to Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. Both of these communities are either a short walk or bike ride from The Blue Lagoon and they offer several family-friendly restaurants, shopping, fitness center, ice cream, concerts, and areas to play and stroll. The house is in immaculate condition and is equipt with every immenity. The house smells fresh and clean, the linens are clean and plush, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, numerous beach towels are provided. From the moment we arrived we were impressed. We will definitly be back for another stay at The Blue Lagoon!

For FOUR years consecutively my family has vacationed at The Blue Lagoon, so for those on this site questioning if 30-A is where you want to vacation, or if the The Blue Lagoon is a potential rental for your family, I offer my HIGHEST recommendation for both. This house is nestled in a community called “Seacrest Beach North” and it’s adjacent to Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. Both of those communities are a short walk or bike ride from The Blue Lagoon, and they offer restaurants, shopping, ice cream, concerts, and areas to play and stroll. It’s wonderful to be able to toggle between them enjoying their communities as well as Seacrest Beach North. As for The Blue Lagoon, the house is in immaculate condition. The house smells fresh, the linens are clean and plush, the mattresses are comfy, the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, numerous beach towels are provided—I could go on. And, most importantly, it’s located in a very safe family-friendly neighborhood.It can be nerve racking surfing sites and clicking on houses scrutinizing pictures to see if it appears “nice and clean”. From the minute you open the door at this property, you will be impressed and overjoyed that not only did it look like its pictures, but the house and its furnishings will exceed your expectations. Seacrest Beach North Community is not on the beach but the access is very convenient by a golf cart ride. There are trams that service the whole community and with one phone call a 6-8 person golf cart will be at the front door in 5-10 minutes. There is one central drop off point, you walk down a set of stairs and you are on the beach. At the end of the day the tram service will take you back to the house. (The beaches have sugar white sand and the color of the water from the Gulf of Mexico is aquamarine. It’s sublime!)The largest pool on 30-A, an impressive 12,000 sq. ft., is literally yards from the house. It is close enough that my 2 year old can walk effortlessly but far enough that you never hear noise. Over the years I have come to know the owners Paul and Cheryl and their home is as lovely as they are to work with. On my own volition I chose to write this review because I have come to rely on their property for my annual beach vacation and wanted to provide information to other potential renters. I appreciate how well they care for their home and my family and I love vacating at The Blue Lagoon!

We have stayed on this wonderful subdivision for the past 6 years. I grew up coming to the beach each year and now I bring my own kids to create the same memories. The trolley to the beach, the pools, the endless roads to go biking! We love this wondeful close knit community. Reminds of being home in our own community. The house is great and very detailed for your guests! The kitchen is great and has just about all that you need. Wish we had wireless wi fi as I had a couple of calls to take for work( But gave me excuse to not stay longer on my laptop!). The extra towels are great and the overall living space is a good size! I love the comfort and cleanliness of the couches! Overall awesome place to stay for a family! Thanks to you both for sharing this wonderful place! We hope to be back!

We had a fantastic vacation and will be back next year. The development is perfect for a family vacation. The house is very nice, the pool is good for the kids and the beach is very accessible. We were also very happy that we did NOT stay in the Destin area... We drove through Destin on the way to the house and came to the conclusion that Destin is for the partiers and not the families. Your location is much better for the kids. Nice and quite!! We also enjoyed the close proximity to Panama City Beach. There are some very nice, brand new shopping developments and restaurants close by. (Target/Dilliards, Carrabba's, Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse) There are also multiple shell shops in the Panama City Beach area that have a great selection at about 1/2 the price of other shops. We also really enjoyed going to St. Andrews State Park (15 minute drive east). That park is fantastic with lots of boating, fishing, snorkeling, shelling and crystal clear water. We didn't know it at the time, but it was named by Travel Magazine as "The World's Best Beach," in 1995. We spent 3 days at the park taking the ferry to shell island. The kids had a blast!! See you next year!

My family just returned from a wonderful vacation experience that we had during our stay at the Blue Lagoon. Our home was very clean and well maintained. It was very close to the pool and only a short stroll to the beach. Also, the town of Rosemary is only a short walk as well and we enjoyed walking over there and taking in the shops and specialty stores. Only a 10 minute drive to the Panama City area where we did most of our dining and nightly entertainment. The owners were terrific to work with...very helpful. This property is everything that is advertised and even more in our opinion. We will be back!

The Blue Lagoon was so quaint! We enjoyed the comfort of this home and how clean and well equipped it was. Working directly with the owners was easy, efficient and stress free...just the way we like it! Access to the beach and pool was wonderful....not to mention, shopping at the boutiques, the close proximity to restaurants and of course Starbucks--walking distance! We are planning another trip to The Blue Lagoon this year!

My husband and I and our two daughters just stayed at the Blue Lagoon and it was the greatest family vacation we have ever had! We look forward to returning to the Blue Lagoon year after year. The house was everything that we hoped it would be, the location is perfect for going to the beach or the pool. You never know when you read about these places, and how close they really are...this is close to all of it. We were really pleased at how family friendly this home and location was. I was also very happy to deal directly with the home owners vs. an agency. We felt very comfortable calling them with any questions or concerns, and they were very helpful and informative regarding places to go and see, and what resturaunts would be kid friendly.
