The Ivy Cottage offers seclusion and solitude. It is located only 10 minutes from Danville and Elysburg, but a world away from life’s distractions. It is nestled deep in the central Pennsylvania valley, surrounded by woods and a quiet, gentle mountain stream.

The location features old cottage charm but with modern conveniences and without the distractions of telephone and television...sometimes less is more. There is even a tree house for more rustic charm if you prefer!

The Ivy Cottage is an excellent hub for outdoor adventure. From hiking to amazing biking and river running, this place offers it all.

The cottage is strategically located 15 minutes from Knoebel’s Amusement Resort, with six covered bridges in the local area. There are also several State Parks, Jim Thorpe mountain biking, Rickett's Glen and others in Central Pennsylvania. You can find multiple golf courses in the area. Just 5 miles to the Elysburg gun shoot.

Couples Getaway Special (Wine, linens, wood, hot tub) is $150/night or two nights for $275. Cleaning fee of $70.00 or option to clean yourself.

From day one stepping into the house, we felt we were at home. Words cannot discribe this property, the scenery, the sounds, the atmosphere or the people. We needed a place to stay for the Little League games in Williamsport and although it was a 45 minute drive away, it was worth every mile to drive back home to the Cottage every night. Centrally located from the beautiful scenes of Ricketts Glen to the day trip to New York to the fun we had at Hershey. Thank YOU Mary for opening up the Ivy Cottage to us for the short time we were there. The memories will be ours forever.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Can't thank you enough. We had an amazing time. Your place can't be worded enough to make someone see how astonishing things are here. Everything from your very nice neighbors to the way the house is so articulate. The scenery is to die for! I can go on and on..and still not be able to thank you enough!
