We are the Armijo family. We love the beach and family vacations that are not real complicated. Vacations are a special time for us and we try to maximize them.
Why the Owner Chose Las Palomas Resort
We live in New Mexico and I read an artical about where can you be on the beach from New Mexico in under 600 miles. So we drove down to Rocky Point and loved it from day one. Unlike a lot of vacations Like Bora Bora and their 25 dollar hamburgers. Things are afordable in Mexico and vacationers can stay on a budget here and still be able to go out for dinner.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We and our location are all about the BEACH and POOLS. We stayed at all the other condos in Rocky Point and found that one pool or one place to eat was not enough. We have over 10 pools at Las Palomas. The patio with its steps to the beach and pools is what they say "PRICELESS". You can walk off our steps and be on the beach. We found the kids watch a lot less TV and are outside a lot more when the beach is so close. You can actually talk to the kids on the beach while sitting on our patio. Yes, there is a condo attached to our patio that is as beutiful as most homes in the US.

We just returned from our stay in the 107 and it was fantastic! The decor is modern and the kitchen has everything you will need. Our children were always on the beach and in the pools. The ground floor is the way to go to have quick access to all the resort has to offer. We will be back for another stay.

Four of us stayed in the condo 6/02/08 to 6/6/08. It was a paradise. The weather was perfect. The condo was perfect in every way. It had everything we needed to cook and be entertained and relax. The bathrooms are wonderful and the beds perfect. The patio was wonderful and the location right on the beach was superb. We hope to go back sometime.

Mid April, 2008, was our 2nd visit to this Coronado unit. It is modern, clean, very nice, ground level and RIGHT on the beach. There is no better set up if you want to be close to the beach, pools, and swim-up bar. This is not a loud-party complex. The staff at the resort were extremely nice. The condo owners were a pleasure to work with. This is our favorite condo in Rocky Point!

We stayed here on 9/17-9/20/07. The condo was very clean and beautifully furnished. It was literally 'right on the beach'. The pools were amazing. We brought guests with us from Chicago and they were thrilled with the experience. The shopping was great. The 4-wheelers were fun. Lots to do. I have stayed at many resorts in Rocky Point and this condo is by far the best. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

Coronado 107 is a great choice!!! My family and I really enjoyed the condo aswell as the resort. Everything you can possibly ask for is there. It is a SUPER CLEAN resort(the staff was constantly sweeping, mopping, and maintaining the OUTSIDE tile and landscaping) and the condo could not have been better decorated. Being able to walk just a few steps to the pools and to the beach was great. We will definitely return and book our stay with Mr. Armijo again, beleive me it is a HUGE plus when you can literally walk 20 steps back to the condo from the swim up bar after one too many margaritas(make sure you order them all natural, no mix)!!!

This is a beautifully furnished unit. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach, which is located just off the condo's very large private patio. We recommend the bbq buffet dinner served at the cafe adjacent to the condo. It will be our first choice when we book Rocky Pointe again.

BEST CONDO IN ROCKY POINT!!! My family stayed in Mike's condo for one week in July and had a wonderful time! He is great to rent from and his condo is beautifully decorated. We loved being on the bottom floor right next to everything: the pools, the swim-up bar, the towels, the outdoor showers, and best of all the beach. We will definitely rent from Mike again and again!

Adults and kids will love the Armijo's condo! You couldn't pick a better spot; it's an ideal location. Being on the first floor was the best - grab your towel and sun screen and you are at the pool or beach in a few seconds. While in your condo there was no noise whatsoever from the pool! The condo is elegant and spacious! The entire place (except one bedroom)...the kitchen, dinning room, living room and master bedroom all had a beautiful oceanfront view. Everything we needed was there. We loved the all tile floor (no gross carpet to step on). The hotel has great food (at the swim-up bar too) and excellent service; it's clean and grounds are well kept. After 15 years of vacationing in Puerto Penasco I've never felt unsafe...but Las Palomas security is excellent - besides friendly. Are we likely to return to Mike's condo on the beach? You bet! Do I recommend it? Definitely!...to you, my friends and to my family! We'll be back! Jama Parker PS: Besides just hanging out on the beach collecting shells - my favorite part was floating in the lazy river at the pool(there are lots of pools to pick from)...just relaxing and reading my book while drifting away!

We've stayed at several other condo resorts in Rocky Point, this is by far the nicest! This unit is beautifully decorated and equipped.The owners have paid attention to every detail. We loved the convenience of being on the ground floor and enjoyed the oversized patio. We were very impressed with all the security guards on duty. Several in the parking lots, elevators, beach & pool. We will definately rent this place again!
