Located in historic Westminster Park on Wellesley Island in the Thousand Islands, this architect designed home nestled in the woods and with a view of the St. lawrence river and Fairyland island is a private, tranquil getaway. Wellesley island is reachable by car and spans the US and Canadian mainland's. One is within easy driving distance to Kingston & Brockville Ontario on the Canadian side and the lovely river town of Clayton, New York on the American mainland.
In Clayton, enjoy a 19th century village with the newly restored Opera House and the nationally known Antique Boat Museum. On Wellesley Island venture to the National Register Historic District in Thousand Island Park and view over 300 late 19th century gingerbread cottages along with fine dining at the historic Wellesley Hotel. There are a number of golf courses on the island and the island is a lovely biking area.
Cleaning service is available on a nightly or weekly basis and a boat slip is available at the Blue Heron Boatworks.
