We love the floor plan of our condominium because when you are in one room you are unaware of people in the other rooms. It's very spacious and feels bigger than it really is. Large closets in each bedroom and storage in the laundry area provide a place to store everything. The balcony is such a bonus. It's as big as two rooms. Many of our guests like to sleep out there! It's safe for toddlers and protected from most bad weather. It is accessed from the living room and master bedroom. In the winter we like to watch the sun rise without getting out of bed!
We think the new pavers around our outdoor pool are a work of art. There are seven circles in the pattern. Can you find them? We like to eat dinner by the light of our balcony palm tree and watch the lights from shrimp boats. We're on the ninth floor and have a great view of beach, pool activities, and wildlife. The heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and exercise room are especially nice during the cooler months when the beach or outdoor pool may be too cool. Exercise equipment and tennis court are new.
It's nice to be able to walk to the nearby amusement park, nearby restaurants, and live music. Most young adults want to check out the infamous Flora-Bama Lounge. It's just down the road at the Florida border. Our favorite restaurants are within a 15 minute drive. Free local newspapers, booklets, and the Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Center will keep you aware of events you will not want to miss...or just sit on the beach or balcony and watch the world go by.

- Racing fans, book our balcony in August to watch the bruiser boats roar by during "Thunder on the Gulf"! Animal lovers, we have two nearby attractions that bring visitors from all over the world. Animal Planet features our very own Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo in a 13 week series. Be sure to visit "The Little Zoo That Could". It's about 6 miles from our condominium. Ft. Morgan, about 45 minutes east is famous world-wide as a birding area. Be sure to attend the bird bandings in April and October. You might get to hold and release one of these beauties! Cross Mobile Bay on the ferry to Dauphin Island for more birding and a visit to The Estuarium. Make sure you leave time to explore Civil War Ft.Morgan and its museum.

One of our favorite restaurants. Fabulous view of boats going through Perdido Pass. Great food and service. Fun take-home desserts. Be sure to check marine life from the docks. Good live music.
Miniature gulf course with volcano, bumper boats, race track, inside games and prizes. Fun!
The family who owns this store and the famous "walk through the shark's mouth" store in Gulf Shores donated the land for our new Gulf Coast Zoo.
Jolly good fun for families. Watch the kids play in the sand or walk the Sky Walk while the grown ups enjoy the music and food. Lulu is Jimmy Buffet's sister. Sometimes he drops by.
The Little Zoo That Could is the only zoo in the world which had to evacuate "lions, tigers, and bears" three times because of major hurricanes. I will move to it's new home soon. Lots of interaction with baby animals.

The Pippin's had a family reunion over July 4th vacation time. We came from several cities. This condo was our headquarters and it worked out perfectly. The pelican's really do fly by! We loved the large balcony for both living room and bedroom. We've stayed a lot of places at the beach in the past and some were more expensive, but this was by far the loveliest, most accommodating, and happiest of them all. I loved the indoor pool while the children and grandchildren loved the outdoor pool. The beach is always beautiful. Thank you for sharing this beautiful gift with us and for having baby stuff there.

We were not quite sure what to expect in light of the recent oil spill tragedy but knew that the residents living on the Gulf Coast were getting hammered financially and we wanted to support them in any way we could. What we discovered was an exceptional experience that my children will remember for many years to come! The beaches were beautiful and there was what appeared to be an army of volunteers and workers present to make sure they stayed that way. We detected very little presence of oil. Wildlife, including sea eagles and pelicans are still here.. The view from the balcony out into the Gulf and the sound of the surf was beautiful and relaxing. Coming from the high desert country in Arizona, I had no idea until now that I have two little water-baby children! Although I would not let them in the Gulf , there are two pools here at the condo, one indoor and one outdoor that they swam in each day. There are plenty of things to do with the kids around here...truly, it is a child-friendly environment. The kids really enjoyed the zoo and the water parks. There is an outlet mall about 15-20 minutes away and a Publix grocery store just down the road. All of the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay were easily accessible. I noticed an emergency medical facility is about 10-15 minutes drive (near the outlet mall). The condo is comfortable and private. Even if multiple families were to stay, the rooms are situated in such a way that no feels crowded. We are already making plans for next years visit!

We were here in June, and had an absolutely wonderful time! Although there were a few tar balls right on the shoreline, we still had fun flying kites and building sandcastles on the white sandy beach. The kids loved swimming in both the outdoor and indoor pools, and the grown-ups enjoyed the relaxing ocean breezes and beautiful views from the luxurious balcony. There are plenty of the nearby attractions and activities to keep everyone entertained. (The kids loved the Dolphin Cruise, Waterville USA, the Gulf Coast Zoo, Go-Kart Tracks, and Treasure Island.) And the restaurants were great! We had a terrific vacation, and felt good about supporting the Gulf Coast.

Pat and Stan, 3 ladies and I stayed in your condo recently and had a wonderful time. Your condo is beautifully decorated and fully equiped. Every thing we needed. The weather was not the best - cold and wet but what do you expect in January and we were not there for the beach, we were there to relax from our jobs and enjoy the fellowship of family members. We'll come back for the beach. We were close to the grocery store, drug store and everything, and enjoyed some delicious food at Bubba's (right across the street)and Lu Lu's Restaurants. We will definately be back to have a glass of wine on your large balcony, sit in the rocking chair and look at that beautiful blue water. Pat and Stan Thank you so much for the hospitality we received in your wonderful beach front condo. Our recent vacation could not have been better. The weather was great and the condo was lovely. The seven of us felt very much at home and enjoyed a much needed vacation. Thanks also for the recommendation of the Dolphin Express cruise. It was amazing.....we saw many Dolphin and even had the chance to see several of them jumping the wake of our boat.

Wonderful holiday in the loveliest surroundings of this condo. The decor was so attractive and gave the place such a bright, but relaxing feeling. A real treat We felt very much at home and hated to leave.

We stayed at this beautiful property recently and found it to be everything a person could want or need. Many places that we have rented were nice, had ammenities and we were satisfied. This condo is the exception. The roominess, the view, cleanliness and comfort exceeded all expectations. We cannot wait to go back and spend some more time there and just sit back and ENJOY!!! We really enjoyed our stay. The rest of our family came down and equally enjoyed their stay. Even with up to 7 of us part of the time we did not feel crowded. The furnishings appeared to be nearly new and the kitchen was as well stocked as any condo we have rented at the beach. The Gulf views as we expected were great and the location was convenient. We would definitely rent here again.
