The sound of the Yellowstone River lulls you to sleep while visions of trout dance at the end of your line...you wake up and it's not a dream-you are really there! This wonderful and spacious cabin is right on the Yellowstone River, just minutes away from the Park and the Roosevelt Arch entry, Mammoth Hot Springs, mountain biking and all the wildlife you can imagine. This cabin is self-contained with brand new Western furnishings in the living area, plush linens, plush towels and bathrobes, books, 2 VCRs and video library, 2 DVD players, a completely new kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, gourmet coffee and teas, gourmet spices and sauces, and a wonderful patio for relaxing after a day of hiking, horseback riding or rafting on the River. Restaurants and local shopping are within ten minutes driving distance and Chico Hot Springs Spa and fine restaurant are a half hour away. A basket of home made brownies, muffins and/or cookies awaits your arrival, to be enjoyed with coffee, hot chocolate or our selection of gourmet teas.

This cabin is a delightful place from which to navigate your Yellowstone Park vacation, and you can even walk to the park directly from our driveway, only 1500(approx)feet away. The Yellowstone Association Institute has classes on wildlife. Enjoy a BBQ on the patio, a marshmallow roast at the fire pit or a relaxing stroll down our rural road, away from the noises of the city. Just under 48 miles to Livingston, and 1 1/2 hours from Bozeman Airport, the location is convenient yet very private.   • Microwave: Coffee maker, tea kettle, gourmet coffee, teas and hot chocolate are also at the cabin for your convenience.

  • Deck/Patio: Chairs and a table, a pine sofa, and extra chairs are on the patio for relaxing while watching the river or rafters floating by.

  • absolutely perfect! Our family took a 2 week vacation to the Yellowstone area in in July '08 and out of all the places we stayed this one was by far everyone's favorite. Our sons are 9 and 12 and they really enjoyed their own room and running around out by the river. Every morning driving into the park we saw additional wildlife on the ride to the cabin (Pronghorn and Buffalo mostly) which made it a nice drive. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for the stay. We cooked out on the grill each night and ate on the patio every morning and evening. Great views! The other thing that makes this cabin so special is its owner! Sherry was so helpful in planning our trip and made sure we were set. She also left some delicious baked good that we used with our picnic lunches each day in Yellowstone. Great Stay don't hesitate staying here! -Jeff

  • Sherry, Thank you so much for opening your wonderful cabin for VRBO use. This was a last family vacation before my 18 year old son went away to the US Army for basic training. We LOVED that we were able to get away and have no "junk" from the TV or radio. We actually reconnected as a family and spent some fabulous quality time together. This was a vacation that we will always cherish and we hope to come back again another time because there was so much we didn't get to see or do in the area. You are an incredibly hospitable hostess and the "extras" you provide go above and beyond. Thanks again, and God Bless!

We had a delightful time, both inside and out of the cabin and the extra touches you provide made it seem like we were staying with friends.
