This house is on Oatland Island in the city of Savannah and located in the middle of it all, 10 minutes away from Downtown Historic Savannah, and 10 minutes from Tybee Island, and its beautiful beaches. It is near the Islands Expressway, on the coastal or eastern part of Savannah. Just a couple of miles away and you will have access to everything you may need in regards to fine dining and entertainment.
Also a few miles away is River Street, where many of the Tourist attractions are. In addition, it is minutes away from splendid "Wilmington Island" which also offers wonderful sights, shopping and recreation.
Lush surroundings with trees, make you feel like you are in the country. Ample parking for multiple vehicles, and a RV. Open, large, lush and secluded back/front yards, located in a cul-de-sac allows you to really stretch out and move around in this exclusive area.
Imagine catching fish from the backyard lagoon. Take a short stroll to the World Famous Oatland Island Educational Wildlife Habitat Refuge Center minutes away, where one will find native rare species of animals, plants and trees. Animals living at Oatland Island include bison, turtles, Florida panthers, wolves, alligators, bears, and diverse raptors.
Take a brisk walk through the 2 mile nature path, and watch the owls, eagles, hawks and birds roam free, with the wolves and bears. Please don't feed the Bears and Wolves while you are there. The kids, grandma, and dog will just love it! Visit the center and learn about the native species of life which exist here in our coastal wetlands.

The interior of the home is sweet as can be. Splendid Island Style furnishings, that includes: 1 King size master bedroom, with bathroom, 1 Queen size bedroom, 2 Double beds in 3rd bedroom, and a Sleeper sofa, in the living room. It has 2 separate dining rooms, which can accommodate 10-12 people, and 2 main bath areas. Also included are linens, utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, microwave and all you will need to feel cool, warm, and comfy at home.
Casually drive on up to the nice accessible driveway, with a enclosed garage. See the Lagoon, from the living room. Relax outside in the large patio and watch the birds and ducks come down for a dip in the lagoon. Feel the water ripple with life and vitality. Sit back, kick off your shoes and stay a while.....you smile! |
