  What a great condo with lots of character! Great convenient location, clean, excellent for a small family of 4 or less! Laurie was super accommodating and we would definitely rent this condo again.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

  I would not recommend this condo. We found it very small to start with;the smaller of the bedrooms is not more than 7 ft sq.Pictures don't reflect how small it really is.The air/heat system malfunctioned twice while we were there. The Jacuzzi tub mentioned in the condo details was not working during our stay.The window in the master bdrm was cracked. In the living room ,every time you opened the patio door to go out on the deck the slats in the vertical blind fell out.The shower liner in the small bath was grimy when we arrived and needed to be thrown out.Under the sofa, chair and TV stand in the living room was dirty,The laundry room consisted of 2 washers, one of which was out of order during our stay then ,due to construction the laundry room was blocked off altogether.Worst of all was a very foul odor that we smelled from time to time in the small bathroom. My husband would run the shower to put water in the trap which didn't seem to be working properly.Laurie our contact person was quick to send someone to repair the heating system. When we mentioned the tub and the cracked window he said he was on it but there was no resolution.I think that the building was in its prime 20 or 30 years ago but needs a lot of work. We have stayed at Arcadian Dunes in years past and the only reason we looked for a new one this year was to be by the water. the trade off was not worth it.Friends we visited in Heron Point, Arcadian Dunes, Shipwatch Point and Pelican Landing had much nicer units than this one. The only positive point I could give it is the location.

  This condo is in a great location overlooking the salt marsh, ocean and some of the smaller pool. It is very easy to walk across a small parking lot and get to the beach. The beach at this resort is larger than most resorts because it does not have another resort on the other side, so everyone gets to spread out a bit more. The salt marsh is a lot of fun for young and older kids, we saw everyone from 2 years on up to adults enjoying the salt marsh. And watching everyone playing in the marsh from the condo and balcony was always entertaining. We walked down the beach to the fireworks at Ocean Annie's on Wednesday night. Also close by are lots of restaurants. We went to Benjamin's Seafood Buffet which has a great atmosphere and is amazingly efficient. The kitchen is well stocked and there are personal touches throughout the unit making it feel more like a home away from home than corporate managed units. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. Our experiences with the business aspects of this rental were all very professional. Communication was timely, accurate and professional. Our security deposit was refunded quickly and without us having to ask for it. We had a great week, would recommend it to friends and would rent this unit again.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We jsut returned from our week at Ralph's Retreat and immediately booked again for next year! The sleeper sofa was in great shape and the unit very clean (problems for us in other condos we've stayed at), the bunk beds allowed our son to have his own bed while the 3 girls took turns sharing, and my husband got to learn to crab fish in the inlet. The commom areas were nicely landscaped and clean. The kids spent a lot of time at the pool which had a number of tables with umbrellas so we could sit and watch in the shade. The grills were in great shape and we plan to cook out next year! There was plenty of activity just a short walk down the beach from the unit but just outside it was very quiet-- for us a perfect combination. It was also just a short drive to Barefoot Landing, the Outlet Mall, and Broadway on the Beach for when we want to go out. We would recomend the unit to our friends and family 100%!

  The condo was great. Plenty of beach with little traffic made the trip very enjoyable. The view from the second floor was great of both the beach and marsh area. Fishing, tennis and basketball courts, and swimming made it the best place to stay especially with children. Everything you need is just minutes away. The price was better than any hotel for the location and 2 bedrooms/2bath with extras. Would definitely stay again!!!

  What a wonderful vacation! Right on the beach, 2nd floor, ocean, pool, and golf course views! Nice condo for a family of 4, king size bed in MBR, plus a queen and a twin bunk in 2nd small BR. Choose from 2 pools, coin laundry, restaurant on site, daily children's activities, tennis, basketball, volleyball, fitness center. Secluded part of the beach, walk to pier, Ocean Annies Beach Bar, short distance to tons of restaurants. This place has it all! The price was WAY below any hotel on the beach! Would stay here again! Thank you for the wonderful vacation!
