Thank you for use of your beautiful condo! It was very comfortable, loved the decor. After being here for 3 days I feel this is as close to heaven on earth as I will ever get and I definitely want to come back! The sunsets, moonlight, surf, dolphins, shells, fish, people, food, etc. are phenomenal. Just what my soul needed.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your condo. It is absolutely lovely and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the patio looking out over the water. So soothing and peaceful. Highly recomomend the "Crazy Lobster" at Harbor Village. The fish tacos are #1 ever!! God bless you both & thanks for a much needed retreat.

My parents, my husband and I and our two kids stayed in this condo. We fell in love the moment we walked in. It is decorated very nicely and the view is wonerful. It slept us 6 comfortably. Although I was hesitant about having to cross the street to get to the beach it was not bad at all. The people always stopped to let you cross and It is within walking distant of a couple of restaurants. ( I highly recommend Pompano Joes). Our overall stay was fantastic and I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to be close to beach without having to pay sky rocket prices. I would like to thank Maury and Nelda so much for sharing their condo with our family. It was truly a blessing. We will be returning again in the future.

What a great introduction to Destin. Thanks for sharing your home with my family. My boys absolutely loved it. I've been to quite a few beaches and Destin by far is my favorite. We are already planning our next trip. I wish your place was bigger as I have other famiy members who want to go. Maybe the next time we go as a family we can get your condo again. You are right, it was perfect being on the first level. My boys loved the patio and the easy access to the beach.

At the last minute, my daughter and I made reservations & drove down for a much needed break. We loved watching the dolphins while eating breakfast outside. The condo was so comfy and cozy & nicely decorated. Best deal was the 29 cent gumbo at The Crab Trap. Loved the beach, pool & shopping.

Thank you for sharing your lovely beach condo with our family! We came to Destin last year for the first time (our sons are 11 and 13) and think the beaches are as beautiful as any beach in the Carribbean! Your condo was perfect for our family. Our favorite part was the excellent beach access! We all loved being steps from the beach entrance! The weather was perfect while we were here - sunny and hot - as Florida should be in July! We had a wonderful family vacation!

Our best 4th of July. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us. We had so much fun every day! From fireworks at the Destin Commons to fireworks all up and down the beach, the July 4th celebration was our best! We were just thrilled with the beach view, the beach access & most of all the white sand beach which had - NO OIL! Thank you again! We hope to be back each year.

Had a wonderful time at Destin this year. This is the third time we have stayed at Beach Retreat and think it is excellent.....great pool, nice roomy clean condos, great location, and across-the-street bargain prices. This was the first time my foster grandson (age 15) has ever seen the ocean or ever been out of the state of Ohio!!! Those two weeks will be lifelong memories for him. THANX so much for the rental.

We spent a wonderful Spring Break with our children here, in your cute beach condo. We were impressed from the moment we walked in. We had everything we needed and definitely felt the tropical get-away from your decor. It was so convenient to just be able to open up the patio door and walk across to the beach everyday. As I was doing dishes one night, I spotted dolphins - everyone got a kick out of that. Thanks for all the love you've put into this place - we definitely had a great time. Rockwall, Texas.

8/10/08 - 8/14/08 Dear Maury & Nelda, Your condo is awesome & the view & location are too! We had everything we needed for a great time...except the SUN!! But that didn't ruin our vacation. We went to the beach anyway & every now and then the sun would peek out. If it rained, WE WENT SHOPPING!! Lots of great places at The Commons. We also love the mexican food at Pepitos & the pizza at Mellow Mushroom is so good! It was also a nice treat to have tickets included for The Big Kahuna & deep sea fishing. We will definitely try to reserve again next August when we come to Destin. Thank you so much.

7/12/08 - 7/16/08 We had a great time. The kids loved their bunk beds and the ice cream truck. The walk across the street to the beach was a breeze. We had some sea-weed issues...but the sand still got appropriately distributed among all our clothes. Thanks for letting us stay here!

6/5/08 - 6/12/08 Many thanks for the use of your beautiful condo. It had many amenities and we didn't want for anything. The pool was clean and very convenient and the gulf was an easy walk also. We have never been to Destin before 'till now. We took a long drive one day miles down both ways to check out other condos available in different areas and we feel like this area has the most to offer and also the nicest to view. The condo is very nice. I hope to enjoy many more visits here in years to come.

It's great to watch the sun set over the Gulf from my patio, while checking my e-mail. I saw Beach Retreat last summer while riding down Scenic Gulf Drive and knew I wanted to stay there. It was all I hoped for, and more. The property description is very accurate. It's wonderfully decorated and comfortable. Our favorite features: ground-floor convenience, beach chairs provided, internet, and walking distance to Pompano Joe's.

The weather was great, the beach beautiful and the lady at Leeward Inn was very friendly. We got a little turned around (no sign off 98 east reading "Scenic Gulf Drive".) I think one is needed.
