Just 1 block from the ocean, Almand’s Joy is a charming family cottage in Section Q of Ocean Sands. Windows and light abound! Enjoy ocean views from the newly re-decorated Great Room and Ship’s Watch. Star gaze from the upper deck hot tub.
Well-furnished expansive wraparound decks, accessible from all bedrooms and Great Room, offer not only views of the ocean and open space where deer and other wildlife wander by, but areas for eating, socializing or getting away for a little “quiet” to read a good book or take a nap!
The screened-in porch is equipped with a ceiling fan for added comfort on warm nights, and the large hexagonal picnic table is perfect for crab feasts or Texas Hold ‘Em!
You’ll find a large selection of beach chairs, toys and boogie boards and a beach cart to tow them. Games, DVDs, puzzles and books will keep you busy when not on the beach.
There are two master bedrooms with queen beds, one bedroom with 2 sets of bunks and one bedroom with twin beds. The twin room comes with a King-size bed converter kit and bedding (not linens) and has direct access to the hall bathroom. All bedrooms have cable TV and children will enjoy the Sony Playstation 2 in the bunk room. A new queen sleep sofa in the Great Room and a Full-size futon in the Ship’s Watch add sleeping for 4 more.
