Sapphire Run at Whisper Lake, with over 2,400 square feet of cabin space, is a beautifully appointed three bedroom, two and one half bath main level master suite retreat with Jacuzzi! Our large wooded deck in a secluded setting is great for entertaining with gas grill and ample outdoor furniture. Open home floor plan has a large living area featuring a spectacular stone wood burning fireplace with a convenient gas starter. The great room connects to a large gourmet kitchen with hickory cabinetry and granite counter-tops, complete with stainless steel appliances. An extra large loft opens to the lower floor and provides a spacious airy feeling.
T & G wood ceilings and large beams throughout give this home a cozy cabin feel.
Sleeps eleven comfortably; includes 2 twin beds, 4 queen beds, and camouflaged twin leather sleeper ottoman. Pillow-top mattresses and luxury linen's combine for a restful nights sleep! There are five TV's with satellite, including 2 with home theater systems, DVD/VCR. The bonus recreation room that opens to a lower deck and fire pit is located on the bottom level and is great for teens and adults alike.
Hiking Trails begin at the front door...or enjoy the front porch swing and short walk (.08 mi.) to Whisper Lake. All Sapphire Amenities included.

We LOVE the natural beauty of this area. The mountains have brought us back here for many years and we know you'll fall in love with them, too! We purchased our cabin in Whisper Lake, and plan to split our time between NC and FL after we retire!
The Unique Benefits of this House
When we come up to the mountains, we not only enjoy the ever changing seasonal scenery, we explore all the area has to offer. In addition to the breathtaking area waterfalls, great golfing, nearby Biltmore house and more, there's always a great new shop to explore, gourmet food markets, restaurants and the Sapphire Valley Amenities are only minutes away. We enjoy the snow tubing, fires on cool summer nights and the incredible fall leaves. We have good friends we love to visit in the area making our time here all the more special!

We just spent a week at Saphire Run and we loved everything about the house. The beds were comfy with nice linens, the kitchen very well equipped and spotless, the livinig area charming and a perfect place to spend a cozy night with a roaring fire while the snow falls outside. We loved it and would definitely classify this rental as "excellent".

I hesitate to write a great review about this property ... because i'd love to keep it for my own secret hideaway. The property is beautiful (better than the photos) and the owners are extremely nice and easy to talk to. My bride and I needed a Christmas getaway (from the real world) and this was the perfect place. Secluded and comfortable. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Everything you'll need. If I were going to buy a place in the mountains, I'd want this place.

Lovely home in a very quiet area. It was well mainyained and very clean. If you are golfers, you should know that the Sapphire Valley golf course was in very poor condition during late summer 2011.
Owner response:The Sapphire valley area was hit with 12" of rain in just 11 days this past July. Unfortunately, it takes Mother Nature time to repair 'wet wilt' damage. Sapphire National Golf Club was named one of the top 100 courses in 2011, so we hope you'll give us another try!

Of the many places I have vacationed, this was my very first mountain experience. What a pleasure...all the amenities,all the detail...and so much to do! Anytime of the year.The house is wonderful and so is the area. I will be back!
