The penthouse is located in the privately gated new Waikoloa Beach Villas complex, close to the activity centers with two pools, fitness room and spa areas. The complex is in the best location of the entire Waikoloa Beach Resort, conveniently located within easy walking distance of 5 minutes to the King Shops, the A Bay Beach, and the new Queens Shops. You can walk to Starbuck's in the morning, go to the beach in the afternoon, or take an evening stroll to one of the many fine restaurants or shops under the stars from the penthouse. Once you arrive, you don't need a car as everything is conveniently located. The penthouse is located on the top floor in the best and most private area of the complex, on the golf course with panoramic views of the Lakes, the King's Golf Course, the Island of Maui, Mauna Kea, the Observatory, and the Kohala Mountain Range.
Pure luxury is the appropriate term to describe the penthouse with vaulted ceilings and large windows. Almost $150,000 was spent in upgrades and designer furnishings above and beyond the standard condos here. Digital dimmer lighting, rich mahogany woodwork, travertine flooring, upgraded carpeting, grass cloth wallpaper and wooden blinds with beautiful draperies are a sample of the elegance in this penthouse! Central Air conditioning and tropical ceiling fans are located throughout and beautiful artwork, vases, and sculptures abound. The large gourmet kitchen is almost twice the size of the standard kitchens in the condos here! It is fully stocked and nicely appointed with with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, large island, comfortable counter seating for entertaining guests, wine cooler, etc.
The dining area is conveniently located near the kitchen, with a beautiful round table, designer chairs and stunning sideboard. There is an incredible Bose stereo system complete with IPOD docking station.
The extra large living room is elegantly appointed with a designer sectional with chaise lounge, designer bronze parrot floor lamps, an entertainment center including an extra large 50 inch LCD television with digital cable, DVD & CD player, high speed WI-FI internet, etc.
The large covered lanai is nicely appointed with an outdoor kitchen with gourmet stainless steel BBQ and elegant teak outdoor furniture for entertaining. This comfortably shaded lanai will certainly be the place of choice of guests to entertain friends or enjoying your morning breakfast, watching the sunrise over Mauna Kea while enjoying a cup of the world famous Kona coffee, or evening meals under the stars!
The spacious master bedroom is luxuriously appointed with designer king-size bed, plush mattress, 500 thread count Egyptian cotton linens, stunning furniture, elegant lamps, 42 inch LCD TV & DVD player.
The en-suite master bathroom is nicely appointed with large romantic soaking tub, elegant vanity with double sinks and marble counters, plush over sized towels, bath robes, and adjoining walk in closet.

My wife and I stayed at this unit November 2011 for one week. My wife likes good quality lodging, and she felt this was one of the best if not the best accommodation she has stayed at in Hawaii, and that includes more than 30 visits. The barbecue, furnishings, cleanliness were outstanding. the granite counters were beautiful. Everything was high quality. I would highly recommend the Stirling's unit to anyone and we hope to stay there again in the future.
Recommended for:Age 55+, romantic getaway.

I’ll try not to use the word WOW too much in describing this condo but it will be tough. To start off, you’re in an amazing location, i.e. The Kohala Coast on the Big Island. Add that you’re in Waikoloa Resort across the street from Queens Market with easy access to the highway. A-Bay is a fairly long walk, but to be honest it's not the best beach on the Kohala Coast so you’ll end up driving down to Hapuna or Mauna Kea anyway. The condo has top-of-the-line furnishings on every level. So often a rental condo will have cheap pans, utensils, linens etc, but not here. Not only do you have every kitchen tool you’ll need to prepare a gourmet meal but they’re all top quality. The Lenox British Colonial dinnerware had such a tropical feel that it completed the magical experience of sitting on our lanai watching the sun rise. Did I mention the comfortable chaise on that lanai to go with the high end gas grille? They even supply dishes for outdoor dining as well so you don’t have to keep making trips back and forth to the kitchen. The beautiful artwork sets the condo apart and just makes it a pleasant place to be. We also loved to open both doors and let the breezes filter through the condo. It was nice to be off the ocean so we could enjoy the dryer air. The king size bed with its exquisite sheets was so comfortable, we both decided they were better than ours at home. I might have to get the details on that bed! The lighting throughout the condo was also a very much appreciated upgrade. Dimmer switches as well as both room lighting and recessed lighting allowed you to match the mood. We truly hated to leave Hawaii and our condo. Bottom line - WOW! You won’t regret choosing this condo. Jonathan and Natasha were a pleasure to work with and take very good care of their guests!!

In our 30 years of traveling to Hawaii, this is by far the most luxurious property we have ever had the privilege of staying. The property is very upscale and beautifully decorated, with well appointed furnishings, exquisite artwork, and all the amenities. The outdoor terrace with built-in barbecue, a good sized dining table and chairs, and a very comfortable couch, make the perfect spot to soak up the lovely golf course view. The kitchen is very modern and includes a wine cooler. The beds are very comfortable. There are quality flat screen TV’s in the living room and the master bedroom. The property is very quiet and beautifully landscaped with two pools to choose from. The ocean is only steps away. The owners were very professional and took great care to ensure that our vacation was perfect. What more could one ask for. Lorna and Wayne

This condo is a fantastic getaway! You will not be disappointed. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The listing description is absolutely accurate. The furnishings and art work are just as described. The Penthouse was very clean and all amenities were available. We had a great time barbecuing on the lanai. The owner took great care from our fist inquiry about the rental, until after our return home, to ensure that our vacation was the best possible. The follow through before, during and after our stay was excellent. We received many recommendations on fun activities, as well as great restaurants. The pool area was a great way to start the morning, or to go for an evening swim. The King and Queen Shops were just a quick walk from the penthouse. We also loved a Starbucks being just a quick walk away. Hapuna Beach and Kua Bay were just beautiful. Boogie boarding and snorkeling was excellent. It was very convenient for the beach equipment to be provided to us in the rental. We have definitely added this rental to our 'must stay again' list. We highly recommend this rental. If you enjoy luxurious accomodations, this is the place for you. You will enjoy this place the moment you step in it. Ahh.. state-of-the-art appliances, two plasma TVs, tastefully decorated, an outdoor kitchen, gorgeous high-end furniture. You won't be disappointed... this will only happen when you have to leave.
