Come and relax at this quiet waterfront cabin on a beautiful pond in Northern Maine. The cabin is easy to find, just one hour north of Bangor, Maine, and minutes off of Interstate 95 in the quaint town of Benedicta.
Begin your morning with a serene, fog lifting kayak or canoe paddle on the pond, listening to the sounds of the loons, and possibly catching a glimpse of a feeding deer. Try your luck at catching one of the numerous bass, that are always willing to put a good fight.
During the day, enjoy swimming, boating, or just sitting back and relaxing with a good book, near the water's edge. Shallow areas near the dock allow a safe place for children to enjoy swimming and fishing.
If hiking is your passion, Baxter State Park in only a short distance away, with two entrances, one in Patten and one in Millinocket. There is also an 18-hole golf course in nearby Island Falls, only 30 minutes away.
In the evening, enjoy the beautiful sunsets, while you fire up the barbeque or sit by the fire pit roasting marshmallows.

My wife and I just returned from Maine and we had a great time! Scott and Mary have a wonderful set of cabins on an outstanding lake inMaine. Itg is out of the way from the hustle of everyday andd the stress of noise and traffic. The lake is great we used the 2 Kayaks and the canoe every day and nite. Our boys 4 and 7 had anawesome time on the lake and walking the trails arounnd the camp. The lake is perfect for kids only waste high for more than 50 feet away from the dock. great bunk beds and dvd collection for the family. The loons in the morning and evening were so cool, be sure to look out for the local nesting bald eagles! A family of 4 or more will be very comfortable and relaxed. We hope to return earlier next year for a great time on the lake. Oh I didnt mention the fishing. the boys were pulling in fish on just about every cast from the dock. The canoe is great to get out on the lake and catch small mouth bass! Cant wit to get back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We have stayed in your cabin for 2 years. We have really enjoyed the cabin and the area. We are so pleased with everything there that we are going to try to stay 2 weeks next year. There is a lot to do in Maine you cannot see it all in 1 week. The McDonald's are really nice and if you need them or have questions for them the only thing you need to do is to call them. I recommend the cabin for anyone to stay and relax. It is really peaceful and yes buggy, but that happens when you are on a lake. If you like fishing this is the place to go.
