Breakfast on the Balcony

Guest: Ken (GA)
Date of Stay: 08/22/11 Review Submitted: 11/07/11

"What a wonderful condo! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful to eat breakfast on the balcony and listen to the ocean waves lap the shore. The view from the unit is outstanding. The accomodations were very nice, beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for two adult couples. It was very convenient to have a full kitchen and full size washer/dryer in the unit. Situated in Ka'paa, it's a great place to anchor while exploring the beauties of Kauai. It was neat to see the monk seal that came up on the beach one day to sun and rest. We would definitely stay here again!" Ken & Kris Parker

Waking up to the Sound of the Ocean

Guest: Adam (USA)
Date of Stay: 10/01/11 Review Submitted: 10/04/11

Aloha John, We are here and soaking up the beauty of the island and your condo! Your condo could not be more perfect. We can not thank you enough for this privilege to stay in such a wonderful place. Feel free to post our comments. We stayed in the C building two years ago with a partial ocean view, it's was great and what brought us back. I have to say there is no comparison with your unit, the sound of the ocean and the view are perfect. Sipping our coffee and enjoying the sunrise is amazing every morning. What a wonderful way to wake up! You were also right about the convenience of maid service and easy check in with your unit. Plus we noticed we are farther away from the big stairs door which can be pretty loud. Thank you again. Mahalo Adam, Julie, Peyton and Campbell! :) Maholo Adam and Julie

An Absolute Gem!

After carefully considering several properties, we chose this property for our first trip to Kauai and to celebrate our anniversary. The complex itself is beautiful, nicely maintained, and has a spectacular swimming pool and grounds. This particular unit is nothing short of breathtaking, and we highly recommend it. We were absolutely stunned at the high-end finishings and appointments of this unit, and the views are postcard-perfect. We are very particular, we have very high standards, and we could not have been more impressed! The owner, John, was fantastic to work with, and we could not imagine a better rental experience. He looked after every detail and did his best to make this the best vacation ever. John is a great host, this unit is simply perfect with the most gorgeous views you can imagine. We have recommended this unit to friends, and should we return to Kauai, we would not hesitate to rent this island gem again! Thank you so much for everything, John!

WOW -- A WONDERFUL TIME IN PARADISE........thank you!

We visit a different island for our Thanksgiving Holiday. This year we selected Kuaui -- love the chickens, birds, occasional seal, as well as the non pork, poi, pineapple feel here. We are so far past being your usual tourist. Our search begins in January. Initially we evaluate the $$ rental $$, quantity and quality of your pictures, read other visitor comments written, and check out the foot print of the building(s). How close are the buildings to the ocean, what direction do they face, is it ocean view (no way) or ocean front (an absolute must) -- gottas hear and smell those waves morning, noon, and night!!! Once we are secure as to the location: Central air conditioning, washer/dryer. gas grill, and kitchen ammenities fit for an amateur chef are a must. Eating in is a real treat when we have the time and ammenities to do it right. Then we proceed to have contact before we sign your contract. We have to say YOU and this UNIT have met all of our pre-requisits. The housekeeping staff is supurb. It ia obvious this condo is investor owned, operated, and decorated. However, once we set foot inside the unit there was a feeilng of quality through out. From the appliances to the matching dinnerware/flarware really made us feel like we were at home away from home. NOT a commercial/industrial setting in any manner. We have been to Kauai several times before but we may just consider returning HERE in a few years. FYI -- for those considering this unit. One of the best kept secrets here is the COSTCO located so close by. We made a +/- $500 trip there and stocked up on everyting from lobster tails to hot dogs. In a pinch Longs and Safeway are well within walking. We did not specifically seek out a unit that was handicap friendly but I was able to navigate everywhere inside the unit as well as walking outside (with my wheelchair) without any difficulty. I have MS and the access to the bathrooms and lanai was very easy and safe. The beds and especially the good quality bed linens were most appreciated. Happy hour is about to begin, so until we meet again, Mahalo

Best place to stay by far !

Guest: Chad (Plano,TX)
Date of Stay: 05/22/10 Review Submitted: 06/23/10

This place rocks !! Everything was just as it stated, no surprises other than it was better than we had hoped for. The photo's don't even do this place justice and we have pretty high tastes. The location of the Waipouli was perfectly centralized and the unit was as close to the water as anyone could hope for. The staff was great and helpful which was a nice perk. The restaraunt was top notch with local fresh catch and closer to the water than any on the island with entertainment. ( Priceless ) Dukes, The Beachouse, Keokis Paradise, Hanalei Pizza were also favorites. The spas by the pool at night were awesome after long days to unwind. Did not get a chance for a message, but could see couple messages on the small beachfront early which looked fantastic ! Napoli Coast Catamaran with Captain Andy's is a must !!! Would stay here again over St. Regis anyday and this unit we will stay in !

Perfect choice!

Date of Stay: 05/08/10 Review Submitted: 05/22/10

This was our third trip to Hawaii - the first to Kauai. This condominium was by far the best experience, including a stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Maui! Why? It is spacious and well appointed with all comforts. We like to get up early and enjoy a lazy breakfast without going to a restaurant. We spend our days outdoors and often pack a picnic lunch to take with us to eat at the beach or by a waterfall. At night, we go out to eat or grill at the resort and then maybe jump in the hot tub, take a long lazy bath in the oversized tub, watch a DVD, read, or even walk the beach. The Waipouli Beach Resort is well situated to take advantage of touring all parts of the island. The lazy river and pool are great - we had two 18-year olds who spent a lot of time there. If you are considering this resort and you want a view that makes you feel you are alone at the beach but with easy access to resort amenities and local services, this is the one! I'd also add that the owner is an excellent host, very easy to work with and responsive to all your questions and needs. We hope to stay there again. Aloha! P.S. We tried all the grocery stores and we think Foodland was best. They have the best selection of fresh fish!
