River access for swimming, fishing, tubing, cooking out, etc. This charming two bedroom, two bath is located off the main roads, with plenty of privacy. You are minutes from beautiful Lake Chatuge for boating, water-skiing, fishing, and swimming. The Appalachian Trail is nearby for hiking. Horseback riding is also just minutes away. If you need a fix of golf or tennis the Ridges Country Club is just three miles away. In the evening enjoy an outdoor fire pit on the creek as the sunsets and the chill of the evening arrives. You can plan your next day's activities There are many local parks with beautiful waterfalls, and mountain peaks, however, day excursions are available which include white water rafting of all levels (Nantahalla, Ochoe), Ashville North Carolina (Biltmore Estates), Maggie Valley and the Cherokee Indian Reservation (Trail of Tears), go shopping in Highlands in their antique shops and in Helen, Georgia, go tubing and take in an Austrian Alpine Village. Activities ( nearby): Hiking (Appalachian Trail, Ruby Falls, Rock City Gardens, Biking, Ridges Country Club (Golf, Tennis), Lake Chatuge (Fishing, Swimming, Boating, Water-skiing, Jet-skiing, Wildlife Viewing), Horseback Riding, Hunting, Restaurants, Museums, Sightseeing, Whitewater Rafting (Nanthalla and Ochoe All Levels), Downhill Skiing, Shopping in antique stores (Highlands, Hiawassee), Folk Dancing at John C. It would take at least two to three weeks to participate in all the many activities and day trips. There are 4 OHV trails in the area (Davenport, Teleco, Beasley Trail, Hanging Dog.
