The inviting setting of the lake house will make a great home base for the myriad of activities available in the Yosemite Sierra region. The deer will greet you each morning as you have breakfast on the deck overlooking the mountains that surround the lake, and in the evening as you enjoy the front row seat for the most gorgeous sunsets you have ever seen. This appealing home is equipped with all the comforts of home.

Pine Mountain Lake is magical year-round. We are just below the snow line in winter, with enough snow to be beautiful, but not problematic. There is a quiet feeling of retreat, yet nearby activities beckon. Golf at the par 70 championship course just five minutes from your front door, fish in the lake, take walks in woods, along a creek, or just through the quiet neighborhood, down to the lake for peaceful serenity. Commune with the deer and other wildlife. Ahh, winter in Yosemite Valley, ice skating, Badger Pass or Dodge Ridge skiing less than an hour away, cross county skiing, explore the historic areas of Sonora and Jamestown, Mercer Caverns or Columbia State Park.

In summer, you only have to step outside your door for plenty of activies at Pine Mountain Lake. Swimming, boating and fishing in the lake. Golf, tennis, horseback riding and hikng are all a few minutes from the front door. In addition, Hetch Hetchy, Yosemite and the surrounding areas are available to you for hiking and breathtaking scenery. Groveland, Jamestown and Sonora offer shopping, dining and other entertainment. Ten minutes down the highway is Lake Don Pedro, popular for water skiing, wakeboarding and jet skiing.

  • We stayed last weekend in this house. It was a great house. We were four couples and we all had our privacy during our stay. Rooms+living room are seperated by doors. It has large window with lots of sun:) Lake is great too.
