Stay in our beautiful gîte and have nature, culture and traditional wine makers on your doorstep. Burgundy is famous for it’s wonderful wines, you can go to one of the regions many vineyards ,have a guided tour and then take part in the wine tasting. If it’s history that you are after, then visit the old Roman town of Autun, where you can still see part of the ancient roman walls standing . Visiting Dijon is a must, stroll through its pedestrianised streets and soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful historic town. Visit the Traditional French Markets held weekly in most towns and villages in the area
Our newly created gîte just minutes away from Lac de Panneciere has two double bedrooms, one with king-size bed and one with twin beds. There is also a sofa bed available for a child, plus we have facilities for babies.

Karina review: This gite is great. The grounds are beautiful and the gite itself is roomy, comfortable, and in perfect condition. It has everything you need for a home away from home. The owners are extremely gracious and accommodating, especially with our baby. We hope to return again for another vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with George and Mary who were both very helpful, whilst being entirely discreet hosts, so much so, we have booked a return visit next year. The gite was the best we have stayed in, modern, comfortable and in a superb location. Complete peace and relaxation, swimming pool facilities excellent, even our two teenagers were impressed! We cannot praise it highly enough."

"George and Mary are perfect hosts and their Gite is delightful. Its spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable and located in a fantastic plot of land overlooking the lake. The heated swimming pool was a definite plus as the weather was well typical for this time of year: 3 days of full sun at 29c+ and 3 days of rain and drizzle at 23c The local town has a good supermarket and local bars/restaurant, but for a real treat take one of George and Marys recommendations. We did and the experience was excellent. In summary, the Gite and their hosts surpassed our expectations and we would definitely recommend this experience to others.
