  Our group of 5 girls stayed here and it was perfect! The room was clean and big enough for all our luggage! The kitchen helped save on money and the walk to the strip was a hop, skip and a jump. The walk to the strip was not a scary walk either. The bathroom was great with a shower and a tub. The counter space was good for all our stuff and make up. And they had a little desk area in the living room that worked great for a vanity. (Just bring a little travel mirror). It was a smoke free property which made it so nice! A great escape from all the smoke in the Casinos. They did have an area for smoking right out side but away from valet/taxi area - so if you are a smoker there is still a place for you. Plus they had taxi service there quick if you needed to be picked up. The workers there are great too! Everyone was super nice. I am definitely going to try and stay here again with the girls or the husband. It was perfect!

  A buddy and I booked 5 nights in a double queen room and it was perfect. The room is large, nice kitchen, comfortable beds, etc..... The room was clean too. We had zero issues at all. Had room service once and the food was very good. We are sitting in the lobby bar as I type this. Half price happy hour from 4-8 every day. The room could of used some more towels, but that's honestly the only thing even close to an inconvenience. We did get some after the 3rd day when housekeeping knocked on the door. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the strip. I highly recommend this place. For the price and location you can't beat it.

  My husband & I just returned from spending 5 nights at the Platinum. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From arriving to departure, the staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The room was clean and the property was well maintained. We found that there were many restaurants within walking distance, but our absolute favorite, if you like Indian food was, The Mint. If you have a car and want to see some sights, we enjoyed The Valley of Fire & Red Rock Canyon. Harvard was very helpful in booking this room on short notice for us & answered any questions we had. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends.

  My husband, sister and I had a wonderful stay at the Platinum the second week in November. It worked out great for the three of us because there was one king bed in the bedroom for my hubby and I, and a sofa bed in the living room for my sister. We loved that it is a non-smoking property located close to the strip, but not right on it. They only offer Valet parking, but it's free other than the tips you give the guys. It was quite convenient not to have to deal with the parking ramp, and the valets are very timely. There is no casino at the Platinum, so if you're looking to be smack dab in the middle of everything, this may not be the place for you, but if you like being able to come back to a peaceful, quiet, smoke-free place after spending the day seeing the sights and sounds of Vegas, then I highly recommend this place. There is no casino, so you don't have to walk through loud, smoke-filled areas to get to your room. The property is very well maintained and the pictures are an accurate reflection of the property. The hotel is convenient to many off-strip restaurants. We went to a wonderful Indian restaurant called The Mint which was a mile east down Flamingo road. There are also many, many other restaurants to choose from on Flamingo. All the activity of the strip is is an easy < half mile walk. Another couple traveling with us stayed at Bally's and said it was a very easy 1/4 mile walk between the two. There is also a Starbucks at the Hiltom across Flamingo from Bally's and the Platinum, so if you're an addict, it's within walking distance. :) My sister and I took advantage of the spa services at The Platinum and each had a foot massage that was "sorely" needed after too much walking. The Spa is truly an oasis in the middle of Vegas chaos. We discovered the pool on the last day of our stay and wish we would have taken advantage of the indoor/outdoor pool and outdoor fire pit (gas). We won't miss it next time. The owner was extremely helpful. I was one of those renters with a lot of questions, and he always responded promptly with each request I had about the property. I highly recommend this place to anyone going to Vegas who enjoys a peaceful nights rest, wants to be close to everything but not "too" close, and enjoys peaceful surroundings. Have fun!

  I MUST ADMIT I WAS A LITTLE IFFY RENTING FROM PRIVATE PARTIES BUT THIS RENTAL AND ITS OWNER CHANGED MY MIND! MY GROUP OF 4 LOVED OUR STAY AT THE PLATINUM...THE LOCATION WAS GREAT...THE SERVICE WAS GOOD..AND THE OWNER MADE THE TRANSACTION EASY AND THE PRICE WAS THE BEST PART! WE DEFINITELY HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS RENTAL TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY. THE ROOM WAS GORGEOUS AND THE BATHROOM IS LIKE HAVING ANOTHER ROOM! THE JET TUB WAS AMAZING! WE CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK AND RENT THIS PLACE AGAIN!

  This beautiful boutique hotel situated behind Bally's at Flamingo and Koval was a pleasure to stay at for a week in April 2011. Like-new appliances and well outfitted kitchen made eating-in almost as much fun as dining out. Albertsons and Vons (like Safeway) are both a short drive / cab-ride away - very convenient way to spend less on eating out, and free up some extra money for the slots. Speaking of gaming: there is no in-house casino - only a 2-minute walk to Tuscany, Westin, and Ellis Island casinos. Strip is perhaps a 7-minute walk (or a 2 minute drive) Our east-facing balcony welcomed the sun rising over the distant mountains - a joy to behold for an early-riser like me - don't know how people just turning in would feel about it. Heavy curtains effectively black-out the suite if you wanted to sleep late. Separate Living Room / Master Bedroom meant I could get up and putter around the kitchen while the wife slept late. A convertible couch means this small, but roomy-feeling suite could easily accomodate 2 couples, (if one couple doesn't mind sleeping in the living room.) HUGE bathroom with 2-person soaker tub (with jets!) and a separate tiled shower enclosure with a glass door. Great water-pressure, almost instant hot water. AC was excellent - tied to a "green system", so when you got into the room and inserted your keycard, it would kick on automatically. Staff are very helpful and courteous. The Pool area is clean and not overcrowded but smallish, nothing like the multi-pool expanses at places like Flamingo/Aria etc. One restaurant was only open for Breakfast and Lunch, the other "lounge-style" place stayed open late, and was very fancy-looking. 10-minute cab ride to McCarran airport, 15 minutes to Premium Outlet Mall - North (the nice big one), 18 minutes to Fremont Experience, 2 minutes to central Strip. A great place to stay - we've stayed at Aria, and Platinum beats Aria in nearly every way. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, centrally-located place in Las Vegas.

  The total experience from booking to arrival to departure was just great. We stayed 5 nights. We have stayed at MGM Signature, Palazzo, TI, Planet Hollywood, private condo, etc... We have been going to Vegas once a year for the last 7 years and have never stayed at the same place 2 years in a row. Until next year. We will be going back to Platinum and renting this unit if possible. We had a couple of minor issues that were taken care of right away and with every effort to make it right. The hotel staff and the owner worked together to make everything perfect. The location of this unit is great. It is on the quiet side of the builiding(yes, not the strip side) and sitting on the deck in the morning was nice. No smoking and casino was exactly what we were looking for and the walk(for us) was about 7 minutes to the center of the strip looking at Bellagio fountains. The unit: Great kitchen, deck and living room. Amazing bathroom with romantic 2 person jacuzzi tub. Lots of room for 2 to get ready. Comfy bed in large bedroom. Nearby: Enterprise car rental across the street at Westin Hotel, Center strip 7 minutes away, restaurant tasty and reasonable, Pizza or 4am breakfast next door at Ellis Island. Resorts within 15 minutes: Bally's, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Flamingo, Harrahs, City Center, Bellagio, Caesar's Palace. The price was half of most of these properties for twice the amenities. What a peaceful oasis. We recommend to all that will listen. Don't hesitate. c.
