Nicely laid out home.Liked the location outside of Ellicottville. A couple of things to be improved: Pillows smelled and either should be washed or replaced. Sheets and towels should be replaced. Need more towels. Only had three bath towels for five adults!

Together, my sister and my family rented this home and had a wonderful time. 4 adults and 4 children under the age of 8 had plenty of room to spend time together or apart from one another. The listing description is accurate as are the photos. The location is great and we were able to get to both ski hills in under 10 minutes. The property was clean and the hot tub was a hit after a long day on the slopes. There are lovely views from the windows and the hot tub in particular. Ellen was extremely professional to deal with and addressed any questions or concerns immediately. We would definately reccomend this property to friends and relatives as it is affordable, well maintained and close to Ellicotville and all attractions.

Wonderful location- close to Ellicottville and Holiday Valley ski resort. Clean and spacious house for a large group or family. Best place we have stayed in so far surrounding Ellicottville. There were 8 in our group - 3 adults and 5 teens. I had a little different experience than the posting before mine from Jan. 2011. When we arrived driveway had been plowed but deck was covered with well over a foot of snow making it impossible to even walk on it. We fought to clear a spot around hot tub just to be disappointed upon opening it and getting the water circulating and finding it was not maintained properly before our weekend stay. Cloudy water with strong foul odor. House was great as far as cleanliness. Well-stocked kitchen aside from needing a new spatula or 2 for eggs, pancakes, etc and some new dishtowels and dishcloths would help too. One thing that was lacking - washcloths. There were 8 of us and only 6 washcloths could be found so this created an issue. We made due but I was a little upset because I had emailed ahead of our trip to inquire about just this thing. Had I known this, I would have brought some along. It accommodates 11 guests so it should have 11 towels and 11 washcloths. Outside entryway lighting was burnt out which made it dangerous to enter after dark due to the icy conditions at the doorway. No replacement bulbs could be found in the house anywhere or we would have changed the bulbs. Downstairs bathtub drains slowly so you are standing in ankle-deep water while showering. My suspicion is the house is maintained by a cleaning person/agency who does not have an eye for little details aside from cleanliness that really do matter to a paying guest. If these issues are addressed we would definitely stay here again and again when heading to Holiday Valley for a ski weekend!
Owner response:We are grateful for any of our guests taking the time to comment on our property. There have always been plenty of washcloths in the past and the supply has been replenished. We have also replenished the kitchen utensils. We have a wonderful cleaning and maintenance staff who check the house on a weekly basis. We check the house ourselves every one to two weeks. There are plenty of light bulbs in a kitchen closet to replace bulbs as they are needed. We have a professional pool and spa company service the hot tub on a weekly basis and have had no other complaints regarding it. Lastly, we are sorry that the guests had to clear a way to the hot tub, but all the snow in Ellicottville make this an ongoing challenge, but it also makes for great skiiing!

We have stayed at a few locations close to Holliday Valley Ski resort, and this is by far the best place we have stayed. Very big, spacious house that easily holds 11 people. We had 11 people and did not feel cramped for space at all. It was nice to have a full kitchen with full dining room. Hot tub is a great feature after a cold day of skiing. Very close to the slopes as about 5 minutes from downtown Ellicotville. Ellen, from memorable getaways, was very professional, very organized and very quick with all her communications. They take great care of this house and had the driveway plowed and deck cleared off for our arrival. No problems at all and highly recommend!

We stayed here for three nights for a ski weekend in January. The house was awesome. There were 5 adults and 4 kids and we had more than enough room. The 6 and 10 year olds loved the bunk beds and said the house was "more awesome" than their own homes! It was only a short drive to the ski slopes and town. We have already recommended the house to friends and plan to return next time we need another ski weekend away. Ellen was very helpful in accommodating us and made sure we had what we needed. Thanks for a great ski weekend!

The house was great. Very spacious great for a reunion of any kind. The house was spotless when we arrived and well kept in every way. We would definately stay there again. The house was very seclusive great for a retreat but yet close to town only a few minutes from downtown. We would like to thank Memorable Getaways for allowing us to use their property and would definately recommend staying there. The hot tub was perfect.

I wanted to let you know that our trip was great and we absolutely loved the house. The layout with the bedrooms was perfect and we were thrilled that the kitchen was so well stocked. It was an easy drive into town and to the slopes so we were very pleased. Thank you so much for everything. We really loved the house, especially the large kitchen table and the spacious layout.

We had a great stay this winter. The house was very spacious and could easily accommodate our large group. We were very close to the tubing hills and a short drive to town and the ski hills. We look forward to returning next winter.
