Remember the fall in Destin is a great time. The fishing rodeo (October-entire month) and bringing in the catch at AJ's is an entertaining event which occurs in the afternoon. Although the building and view are very good, the unit itself was lacking in a number of things. I needed to clean one of the toilets on arrival. One burner on the stove did not work. There were no dish clothes or towels, electric kettle, oven broiling pan, and the microwave did not work. Only 2 hand towels but about 10 bath towels. One only frying pan ( there was a second one but the finish was so bad, It was not safe to use ). It took approx. 8 weeks to get my damage deposit check back and that was after contacting the owner 3 times.
