The property was fantastic. The building might be a little hard to find, but we had no problems with the GPS on our phone. There is a parking garage in the basement manned by a security guard at all times, and the room was great. Very clean, neat and comfortable. We enjoyed the ceiling fan and left both doors open for a nice cross breeze. The room is exquisitely furnished with a lovely bed, nice couch, table for 4 and fully equipped kitchen - appliances AND dishes/tools. The double sink bathroom was a plus and the shower was clean and very well done. The balcony had a fantastic view right out over the ocean and we were excited to see a grill out there - we stayed in most evenings and cooked on the grill (way more enjoyable than a restaurant with a much better view!). There was a desk for our laptop and a dresser for clothes as well as a closet that housed a cot, extra towels and other supplies. We felt very safe, as our room had a door with bars that led into the hallway (which also let a nice breeze in), the elevator needed a key to be operated (information that would have been useful our first day! Not sure if my husband missed that fact or if we weren't told, but we lugged the luggage up the stairs thinking the elevator was broken!) and locked outside doors. There was a pool on the grounds and picnic areas. This property is walking distance to Los Croabas beach, where 10+ companies run biokayaking tours. There was a party going on down there every night (walking distance but far enough away we couldn't hear them from our room) and always something to do/watch. Lots of food vendors, groups dancing/playing music, souvenier/jewelry vendors and all the bars were hopping. The El Conquistodor property on the other side was also nice to stroll. We utilized their on-grounds dive shop and talked to the hotel about obtaining a 1 day pass to their water park. I highly recommend this property, the ocean sunrises are gorgeous, the room is comfy and having a full kitchen is very convenient. Its about an hour?? from San Juan, 15 minutes? to Luquillo beach and 30 minutes from El Yunque rainforest.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

The owner is exceptional - very responsive! The unit is situated a few blocks from Croabas Bay - so if you love water sports...snorkeling, boating, etc....great area. Cool restaurants and bars for hanging out in the afternoons and evening. Was hoping the beach was a little closer. It was about a 30 minute walk and 5 minute drive. I would suggest driving and parking in the Seven Sea's parking lot. Unit a studio but roomy with a full kitchen so we were able to cook in. Pool closed early at 7p.m. The a/c unit is older and very loud, but when visiting Puerto Rico hopefully you are out and about most of the time. p.s. garage parking that was very nice with full time security guards.Did you find this review helpful? I came to Fajardo April 11 & stayed till May 10th, I have been to San juan PR many times, but this time was for a good month, for my own reasons, but staying in the condo was fabulous , there were no problems with Living arrangements, Raul was very helpful with alot of things, Fajardo is a lovely area to be at, lots of activities, & right next door to the Resort, which i went to explore one rainy day, plus alot of other things around kayaking to bioluminous bay, if you have not yet experienced it yet , you must, i recommend the condo & that as a must do on your list, everything restaurants, etc is at your access. I hope to come back & rent the condo again next year, thank you raul ..Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

The condo is in a good location. Close to biobay tours, El Yunque, good restaurants and beaches. Seven Seas beach is a mile away. But we preferred Luquillo Beach, about a 20 minute drive. Brass Cactus Bar & Grill was at Luquillo Beach offering good eats at the most reasonable prices we found during our stay. Luquillo Beach also was great for body surfing and long, long walks. El Conquistador is next door to the condo offering much in the way of dining, entertainment, shopping, etc. The staff at Marina Lanais was very helpful when we first arrived orientating us to the keys using the elevator. We felt our possessions safe with guarded parking garage and key access to the condos. The condo was clean in the main areas. The sheets didn't fit the bed, which was aggravating the first night. With no mattress pad as well we ended up sleeping directly on the mattress. So the next night we put the flat sheet over the quilt and slept on top of it with 2 full sized sheets for covers which we located in the condo. The radio/stereo never worked. The TV stopped working on the 2nd day. The WiFi was extremely slow and non existent one morning. There is essentially no prep space if you want to cook in the kitchen. There is no dishwasher, so we washed the dishes before we used them. But fortunately we didn't spend a lot of time in the condo. We had an enjoyable visit to El Yunque hiking in the rain forest. If you plan to do a Biobay tour, we suggest booking it before you leave home. We almost didn't get a tour and we had to use the internet to book one, which was challenging with the WiFi so weak (at most 2 bars). Old San Juan is an hour drive away. The airport was about an hour as well w/lights and traffic. Econo market is a good place to get drinks, snacks, etc. It is located at the intersection on 194 & 3. Raul was very nice on the phone. We would only recommend the condo to friends who can deal with the minor inconveniences noted above. Our favorite refrain when we were at the condo was "Low Budget" by the Kinks. In spite of curtain rods falling on our heads and towel racks falling off the shower door, we had an enjoyable time and hope to visit the area again.Did you find this review helpful? We stayed in this condo for a week. Raul the owner work with the transaction patiently when PayPal did not work for me delaying deposit,he was so patient, communicating by email and phone with us.But Finally we got here saturday night,NO Electricity, but was local town in general. Next morning was back again. The small plaza to get in Marina Lanais complex was full of Live, Restaurants, Eco Kayaking tour living, small kiosko's selling local art craft, Tourist everywhere having good time, the weather was perfect. The condo view awakesome, we did not got electricity first night left doors open and the sound of the waves after a long day traveling was so relaxing. The security lady walked with us on front of the door. The parking always available,no hazard on founding a parking space. For the elevator security got your own key,so no one from outside could go in,What else you can asked? I mean this is my next vacation spot. 5 stars Raul. Thanks, for sharing your condo with us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I have stayed for 3 nights from apr 6-9 .I have to say that the view is fabulous...it is far from San juan city which i opted for and the stay went really good.you wake up in the morning with the view and enjoyed the sea breeze in the evenings.... the bio bay tour is very near by and went for it the first night that we came in..seven seas beach secluded beach is very near.. i would recommend this apartment at 4 star out of 5 1star eliminated for the trouble i faced the last day ..no water for about an hour in the apartment...and it came back after an hour..though. Overall it was really good..and again fabulous view Thanks for the apartment Raul..Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I spent the last two weeks at this Condo and our only regret was it was to short. The studio apartment was clean, comfortable and just fantastic! The property itself was well mantained, clean and the guards very helpful. The photos the owner has provided are extremely accurate and show the place up well. We had complete cooking facilites and ate our breakfast every day on the balcony overloking the blue waters of the Carribean. We happen to love Puerto Rico but anyone who stays here will love it the same way we do. The condo is right alongside El Conquistador and the owner has provided several people who will assist you in whatever water sports is to your liking. There are plenty of great restaurants to choose from, i.e., Calizo's, Passion and at Conquistador, StingRay and a great bar called The BalleyHoo. PuertoRicans are very friendly and they're more than helpful helping you enjoyed your vacation. You'll find most people understand english but a liitle bit of spanish is good too, As far as recommending this place I would not hesitate to send my Mother here and you know how fussy Mother's can be.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great stay at the Marina Lanais - it was wonderful to just walk over to the Biobay for a night kayak tour, and walk over to El Conquistador to go out on a snorkel tour. Easy drives over to Luquillo Beach or down to the Fajardo ferry to Vieques and Culebra. The location is great! And the building was nice, the view beautiful, the condo security staff friendly and helpful, and the condo very comfortable for the two of us. Two thumbs up!Did you find this review helpful? We stayed in this condo last week and would stay there again in the future. It was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony. Further, the staff at the condo complex were extremely helpful. Several attractions are within walking distance or a short drive.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4
