This beach cottage is 2 bedroom 2 bath with enclosed outdoor shower (hot and cold water) It has been kept like new. It is kept EXTRA CLEAN and has all the extras to make it home,yet is romatic and affordable. It is very inviting. Private and only 600 ft to the beach. Outdoor charcoal grill, Picnic table, covered swing and patio.Covered ront porch has ceiling fans, rockers and glidder. You can walk to almost everything in Mexico beach. Kids can play without worry, while you relax.Gift shops,resturants, grocery store and more are only a few feet away. Shop for antiques at historical Appalachacola or visit other beautiful beaches in the area,such as Cape San Blas or St George Island. The best fishing in the panhandle is in the Mexico Beach area, and beaches are not crowded,ever.
Every thing you need is furnished here. All you need is your bathing suit,and your beach chair.
Cottage has antique tub with shower. Outside shower is enclosed with hot and cold water. Three showers total.
All linens are at least 300 count or more for luxurious comfortfor full and queen beds.Master has it's own Bath

Why the Owner Chose Mexico Beach
We choose Mexico Beach because it was quiet and not overly populated. We don't have to hunt a spot on the beach, and it is such a relaxing place to be. Also we don't have to worry when we take the grandkids. There is no hassel and no fear for them to be able to play freely.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
We love watching the parasailers and jet skiers. There is exelent resturants, that are not expensive. Most in walking distance. We can walk to almost everything in Mexico beach. The Charter boats are reasonable. Mexico beach area has the best fishing on the Gulf coast.Appalachola has the best antique stores,fine dinning and you can watch the shrimp boats come in. In Port ST.Joe you'll find one of the best golf courses,reasonable priced. A real vacation, yet there is plenty for those who seek more action, Toucans bar & grill has live music, volley ball and great food. The El Governor has kareoe,and a wedding chapel.There is several shops, from clothing and souvieniers to ice cream and whatever you want to do.

My husaband and I are grandparents, who always loved taking vacations with our children, as they were growing up. With five of them, it could get very expensive, so we had to keep things simple and use our imagination for fun. They are now teaching thier chrildren the same way. Time together makes a happier family,more than anything money can buy. We are born again christians who love nature and the simple life and love the Lord. My husband is in concrete work and I am Hair stylest and hold a Real estate License.We hope to retire to Mexico Beach some day.

I absolutely had a wonderful time staying in your home. It was in the perfect spot... walking distance to the beach and shopping and a short drive to Panama City or Port St Joe. I would definantly stay here again. I have to children and they had a great time, totally loved the outdoor shower. I can't wait to plan our next vacation and stay here again. thank you!!! I would most definantly recommend this place to stay at, you will not be disappointed.

The only thing that would make this place any better would be if it was on the beach! Very clean, comfortable and quiet. We had such a great, relaxing time. The kids loved renting bicycles and collecting tons of seashells. I would definitely stay here again!

YOUR PLACE IS ADORABLE AND IMMACHLANTLY CLEAN. THE STAY WAS GREAT BUT TO FAR TO THE BEACH FOR OUR VERY YOUNG GRANDKIDS. OTHER THAN THAT WOULD NOT MIND STAYING AGAIN SOMETIME WHEN THE OIL IS GONE.

My friend and I rented this cozy cottage for some rest and relaxation after teaching all year. We both loved the quiet surroundings, the cozy decor, and the overall cleanliness of this home. It's an easy walk to the beach, market, and places to eat. I loved the convenience of the outside shower that has hot and cold water. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a super nice place to stay at a good price.

My stay at Mexico Beach was really great. The rental that I stayed at was one of the nicest places that I have every had the chance to stay in. The yards and house were very beautiful and very well kept. It was very peaceful and relaxing to sit outside and just watch the birds and squirrels roam around the trees. I loved the way the inside was decorated with all the sea shells. The master bedroom and bath was a delight. It was within walking distance to the beach and several resturants. Sharon's Cafe and Tucan's were the two resturants that I visited, but I would definitely recommend them. The owner was a pleasure to talk with and very helpful. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone that would love to just get away and enjoy the peace and quite.

Hi, we are from Calhoun Ga.We had a very good time.The house had everything, and it was so clean and well decorated. My husband found this house on the internet and we have really enjoyed staying here. We have stayed at many different places and this is the best place so far. You may have to walk a little to the beach, but the house is worth it. Hope to return again soon.

My sister and I stayed at the Daydream Cottage in June 2009 with our 5 kids ages 3-6! We had a fantastic time! Mexico Beach is a sleepy little beach town; a great place to relax and escape the rush of everyday life. The Daydream was a wonderful place to stay; very clean and beautifully decorated. Every possible need was met! Thanks so much Joan for a fantastic visit. We will be back!
