My family and I (husband and 3 teenagers) stayed here for a long weekend. Everyone was extremely nice and accomodating, RJ was very personable and willing to help with anything we needed. The pool area was exceptional, clean and very inviting. Picnic tables and grills are nice for a relaxing picnic. Room was clean and rustic. The only negative I have would be the small shower. Other than that I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for a great weekend.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

Putting aside the little inconveniences like not having a vanity in the bathroom to put your toiletries, having a coffeemaker with missing pieces & no coffee (plus a notice that you are responsible for cleaning the coffeemaker if you use it), no coat hangers, plus neighbors partying clearly against motel rules with a huge bonfire, raucous loud behavior, what we felt was the clincher was being cut off from our family and work. We had to turn off our cellphones because they constantly searched for service when there was none to be had there! Same with the internet - we had to sit outside and up the hill for internet service which I did once in the rain and that was all I could take. So although the room at DP Lodge was passable and cute, the lack of modern amenities we expect will keep us from staying here or recommending the Adirondack DP Lodge to our family and friends.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers.

My family and i have stayed at this home for 4 straight years, it is far enough from the village to be away from the crowds, but still close enough to get to when you’re in the mood. The pictures are accurate, the house is very close to the water, and our boat was with us at the dock which is set slightly to the left so you can enjoy the lake views unobstructed. The dock is also perfect for swimming from and jumping off. We used the deck over the dock every day and bbq'd every night. Everything is maintained to be like new, i highly recommend it.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.
