We offer a clean, updated, modern-style, bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood just four and one-half blocks from the beach. Walk through the greenbelt to the beach or continue the walk along picturesque West Side Drive to Natural Bridges State Park or the lighthouse and the surfers. Relax in the morning with a cup of coffee on the front porch, gazing at the lush garden. Read a book, paint a picture, journal, let your mind wander. This is the place to unwind from the busy-ness of life.

Don't forget the sunscreen because the Westside is famous for avoiding the fog, especially in the Fall and early Winter when the days are warm and the nights cool. Barbecue at the end of a beach day and sleep soundly in the well-appointed, modern rooms with the faint sound of seals in the distance. We encourage mature renters who respect the full-time residential neighborhood. Couples will love this quiet get-away. We love the relaxed and easy-going area and imagine you will too.

We've just begun to share our 700 sq. foot home through the rental market. We keep it simple and professionally cleaned. Get in early while the house is fresh and delightful, not overtraffic'd like some homes. Come experience it's delight!

Year Purchased: 2004

We love our home and are happy to share its comfort with renters. We've furnished the home to be beautiful and practical for people who want that from their rental experience. Our style is modern with clean lines, fashionable furnishings and comforting colors. We surf, take long walks and bike to the beach, all of which is so easy to do from our home.

Why the Owner Chose Santa Cruz

The cul de sac location is great for kids so they can safely play in the streets. There is a playground a block away and that's a favorite for kids, too. We like the ocean and can hear the distant seals at night from the Boardwalk but are not disturbed by crashing waves (believe it or not, they're not for everyone).

The Unique Benefits of this House

It's quiet and easy to sleep in until we are fully rested. For city dwellers, that's a big plus!

It's a walk to so many lovely places: the beach (of course), Natural Bridges State Park, Kelly's French Bakery (the best caffe latte on the Westside), New Leaf grocery store (health food supermarket), the Boardwalk for day & night time fun and more. We can park our car and either walk or bike to everything. Love that.

    • Warm and inviting home in quiet West Santa Cruz neighborhood. This is the perfect getaway destination for a small family. The beach, tidepools, and park are all a short walk away. The Santa Cruz Aquarium, Boardwalk, Downtown area, and Surf Museum are perfect for daily fieldtrips. There are organic markets, yummy bakeries, and fabulous restaurants to enjoy. If being on the go isn't your cup of tea you could always sit back in their beautiful garden, open a good book, and laze in the sun. We always look forward to our weekly stay in this amazing home. They have thought of everything you could need or want during your stay.
