Enjoy a pleasant combination of serenity and convenience in our circa 1870’s classic Victorian. Sweethaven is located in the quaint town of Rangeley, Maine and within 300 feet of Rangeley Lake. Relax on our grand porch and enjoy gentle breezes and great views of the lake and mountains.
The ideal location for a family vacation. Walk to town in two minutes for shopping, site seeing and dining. Watch the kids at our guarded town beach and playground from the porch while you enjoy a cocktail, what could be better.
The beautiful Rangeley area is known for it’s majestic mountains, lakes, rivers and streams. Rangeley boasts some of the best views in the entire Northeast.
All sorts of year round sports abound, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, hunting, skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, nordic skiing etc. etc. There are numerous hiking trails within walking distance or a few minutes drive.
Our foliage season is the best in Northern New England and the Moose watching cannot be beat.
Sweethaven accommodations:
Victorian style home with huge porch.
Four bedrooms (sleeps ten with comfort)
-Master with Queen bed on first level
-Lake room on second level with Queen bed
-North room on second level with twin beds
-Bunk room on second level with three sets of bunk beds
Large well equipped kitchen with dinette, dishwasher,disposal etc.
Large dining room with seating for at least ten
First floor bathroom with shower, washer and dryer
second floor bathroom with antique claw foot tub
Great yard for outdoor games and a fire pit for those evenings with kids and marshmallows.

Bonus: Our new "Woodshed Bar". Rustic indeed but with cable TV and DVD. Great for a Red Sox game or the kids on a rainy day.

We put the keys in the mail and you should have them by now or very soon. Everything worked out wonderfully, my Dad was very choked up that all of his children and grandchildren were there for his birthday. Hope you're still renting next year, we may have to do it again.
