Everything you need/want. Location to the beach is almost as good as you can get considering it took me two minutes to walk there. The place itself is redone very well and has everything you could want for a short term stay. If I am in the area I know where to stay. Thanks again!

Charming, but Cramped

Though nothing fancy on the outside, the updated interior decor of this apartment was stylish and charming. The price was fair and the place was clean, however it was way too small and poorly outfitted for our family of 5, even though it was advertised to sleep 6. I love to cook and had hoped to make most of our meals, but because the kitchen was so small and poorly outfitted, cooking was very tedious if not impossible. There is not much storage room in the very tight bathroom either, so plan accordingly. The linens were lovely, but there were only 4 towels and 4 hand towels available, not quite enough to go around. Also, there were no washcloths! The free wifi was a nice perk though. There is a patio area, but the view is terrible - a gravel parking lot and the backs of other not-so-cute houses. All that said, if you are traveling in a small group; you plan to spend most of your time at the beach, and you plan to eat the majority of your meals out and just want a place to lay your head at night and get a cup of coffee in the morning, and you want to do it on the cheap, then this is your place! I'd also like to note that this renter returned our deposit quickly along with a bathing suit that we left behind at no additional cost to us. She was delightful to work with. This is a wonderful rental for the right people, it just wasn't entirely adequate to meet our needs comfortably.

great getaway place

We spent 2 nights and had a great time relaxing on the back porch, grilling our own dinner and eating outside on the patio. Just a short walk down to the beach where my 10 year old and I spent a fun afternoon in the water and sun. Very clean apartment w/2 nice bedrooms. Only down side was the weak satellite signal which ruled out watching most programs in the evening. Short drive to grocery store and Lighthouse mall - very convenient.

Owner response:There was a slight disconnection of the cable that caused a weak signal. We found out when our guests departed. Just let us know and we will fix the problem as soon as possible.

My wife, I and our two children (ages 2 and 5) really enjoyed our stay at this comfy 2 bedroom retreat. You can reach the beach in a minute or two (no streets separating you from the beach) and the location is wonderful. Al's Grocery is a short drive away and has everything you need. The apartment has a huge TV with more channels than you need on Dish Network and lots of children's movies on VHS that our daughter loved. There were many great places to visit nearby and when we got back we always felt very much at home. Our children loved this experience at the beach and we hope to come back this nice, clean condo.
