Buffalo Lodge is a charming log cabin nestled in the foothills, surrounded by national forest. It's just 3 miles from the North Entrance to Grand Teton National Park and 20 miles to the South Entrance of Yellowstone. Buffalo Lodge is located in the Buffalo Valley, just 1/4 mile from the Buffalo River, known for it's flyfishing & wildlife, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. Frequent visitors to the property include moose, elk, deer, fox, coyotes, and an occasional bear. From the cabin, straight north, is 18 miles of the Teton Wilderness on the Bridger Teton National Forest, until you hit Yellowstone. No roads, traffic, or motorized vehicles, just lots of amazing mountains and wildlife. It's approximately a 35 mile drive through Grand Teton National Park from downtown Jackson Hole to the Buffalo Lodge.
From Buffalo Lodge you can hike, mountain bike, fly fish, cross country ski, view wildlife, hunt, snowshoe, and access the continental divide snowmobile trail, providing for snowmobiling right into Yellowstone or out onto the Togwottee Pass area. You are 15 min. from Jackson Lake in Grand Teton Natl. Park, where one can sail, waterski, boat, and icefish in the winter.
Buffalo Lodge has four bedrooms, each luxuriously outfitted with a queen sized bed. There is a sleeper sofa if more bed space is needed. There are 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and garage. An outdoor BBQ grill and the wrap around decks help you to enjoy every moment possible outdoors. Responsible pet owners may inquire about bringing dogs. No other pets of any kind are allowed.
All payments via US BANK check, when reservation is confirmed. Refundable $500 security/cleaning deposit within 30 days of check-out.
Life long Jackson Hole resident, happy to recommend restaurants & vacation "must dos" if you ask. Please email for a full photo brochure, an info sheet, to check availability and for lease agreement. Owner is a licensed realtor in Wyoming & Idaho.
NO SMOKING or immediate eviction & security deposit will be forfeited. Basic cleaning included. If home left in poor shape, any cleaning after 8 hours will be deducted from security deposit.

We fell in love with the privacy and quiet of this log cabin. We bought it to get out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy relaxing right next to Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks. We spend as much time as we can either hiking, canoeing, or cross country skiing.
Why the Owner Chose Jackson Hole
Being just 5 min. from Grand Teton National Park, and 20 miles to Yellowstone, provides us with an excellent location to get out explore, adventure, and watch wildlife. We're just 30 min. to downtown Jackson for shopping, restaurants, and nightlife, yet fully surrounded by national forest and national parks.
