A fantastic property to stay at! A very accurate description on website, it was clean, tidy and well maintained. The bedrooms were large with comfy, clean beds. The kitchen well stocked with utensils and enough linen and towels for the whole family. Pascal was very helpful through the whole process, from the original enquiry to our last day check out. A personal touch is always a good sign. A very informative booklet was at the property for us to refer to. We visited a lot of great restaurants and local areas. Only one " the dolphin" provided a poor level of service, the rest were great. A day shopping in Boston is a must!!! I would throughly recommend this property and will hopefully be able to use it again myself in the future!

We stayed at 70 Maple Street in the middle two weeks of September 2010, the property was described very accurately and really was a great base for two weeks in which to explore the whole of the Cape and surrounding Islands. Pascal has been fantastic to deal with and it was a nice touch to contact us on our arrival to make sure everything was ok. The house is extremely well furnished and equiped and is a nice comfortable base to return to after a busy day touring. The house is sited just off the 6a and is perfectly positioned mid Cape being in good location to visit Boston, Provincetown or Hyannis. The day trips to Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket are easily done from the Port at Hyannis and are particularly beautiful, visit the whale musuem in Nantucket, the volunteers are really enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The towns of Cape Cod are really all quite different from each other, but what they do have in common is the friendliness and good nature of the residents and shop keepers, as well some really beautiful archietecture. The beaches at Chatham and along the Atlantic coast at Truro and Provincetown are world class, soft sand phenomenal light and great waves. We would without hesitation recommend the local restuarant Amari, really good, great service. We would however advise to forget Beehive restaurant, terrible on all levels. The house, its location and the fantastic two weeks of weather, sunny everyday, really underlined the quality of our choice for this holiday, we would not hesitate in recommending this for a two week holiday. Great!

What a lovely home to return to after a long day of activities. The beds were ohhhh so comfy. The kitchen is stocked w/everything you need...just bring the food. Pascal, the owner, called just after our arrival to ensure that everything was satisfactory...and indeed it was. He informed me the washer was broken, but he was going to have it replaced asap. That was Sat and by Sun a brand new washer was delivered. The grandchildren enjoyed the "great room"...the large screen tv w/surround sound. Movies, books, all for the pleasure of the renter. There is a small shed located on the property with everything for the beach; chairs, fishing rods, toys and umbrellas. Even a spare gas tank for the grill. The location was perfect to travel anywhere on the cape, to the beaches, Martha's Vineyard, or just enjoying the sights. The pictures are what the home is, warm and charming. This is my third rental through VRBO, and I have never been disappointed. Dealing directly with the owners has been a pleasure. I would certainly rent this home again, and definitely from you Pascal, thanks for sharing...

This house is the real deal. We stayed in August 09 and had a great time. The quality and location of the house had a lot to do with this. Located just off 6A in a quiet spot and around 1 mile to the beach turn off for Sandy Neck beach, so takes less than 5 minutes to drive to the beach. There are also some good restaurants nearby such as the Inaho japanese a few miles down route 6A. Supermarkets and general stores are also close enough. The house is very spacious and furnished to a very high quality inside. It's also hugely stylish and a lot of thought has gone into the fittings and decor. The rooms are airy and the place is very light and peaceful. Things we liked in particular were; the master bedroom (with walk-in closets), kitchen and dining room, TV / Film room with surround sound system. It's the little things that really make this a great place though; nice garden, fully stocked shed with all the beach and garden equipment you might need, nice towels in the linen store, proper stocked utility room, even really nice soap in all the bathrooms. Pascal made sure we had everything we needed for the stay and called to check everything was OK which was a nice touch. Pascal also provided a car park pass so we didn't have to pay for any beach parking during the stay. We would recommend this place highly and had a relaxing, comfortable stay. The photos on the website give you a taste of what it looks like but its even nicer inside.

My wife and I, along with friends of ours, have vacationed here for the last two years, and I cannot imagine finding a more perfect place on the Cape. We will continue to stay there as long as Pascal and Lisa will have us! The house is so beautiful that we even wanted to include some of it in a feature film we've directed, so the rooms in the house will be world famous (fingers crossed) when the movie is completed. We looked at several different places to stay on the Cape, but nothing held a candle to it! Our second year we weren't blessed with the best weather, but it hardly mattered because we had the most relaxing weekend, having a barbecue on the deck, watching movies and playing games in the Great Room, sitting down to a nice meal in the dining room and getting the most restful sleep in their wonderful beds. The neighborhood and local beach are also terrific, and the backyard is as serene as you can get! Beyond all that, and in addition to the fabulous amenities provided for us each year, we have never had better owners/hosts for our vacations. We have always felt like more than just renters, because of the way Pascal treats us, and again we will continue to return every year. I'm only sorry we just returned, because I'm ready to go again! I can guarantee that anyone who chooses to stay here will find this beautiful, spacious, and absolutely wonderful house the perfect vacation spot. Consider yourself very lucky that you have found the absolute best place to stay.

Traveler review for this vacation rental (142065) 5/5 We want to move in! PickyPeople Los Angeles, CA. Date Submitted: August 13, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008 We are very picky about aesthetics and loved the whole experience. The location is beautiful and quiet right off the charming historic Route 6A, the property is quiet and just what you imagine when you think of Cape Cod. The interior is very well kept, comfortable, and nicely decorated with shabby chic flair. We could have stayed another week. The owner is very organized, personable, and warm. We'd definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet, low-key, yet fun vacation. There's lots to do nearby and the owners have provided a lot of outdoor toys i.e. bikes, kayaks, badminton set etc. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway Did you find this review helpful? We had a great holiday in a fantastic house situated in a perfect location. It was the first time we had booked a vacation direct with the owner, and Pascal was extremely helpful and friendly and made the whole process so easy. The house is exactly as it appears on the website and it is an ideal location for exploring the whole of the Cape, as well as being only a short distance from Boston. We thoroughly recommend the house and are looking forward to returning soon.

We, 2 families (8 people) spend a wonderful week of summer at this great place. No overpromises by the owner. The way the house was described is exactly the way you find it. Everything is in great shape, fits together and interieur is chosen with taste and style. A place to feel good. Sandy neck beach turns out to be bit "stony" but there a re plenty of alternatives within 30min driving distance. The landlord Pascal is very responsible, uncomplicated to deal with and credible, reacts fast and is very much interested that his guests do not miss anything during the stay. We could only recommend this home to everybody who is interested in it.

Owner response: Depending on the tides, the Cape beaches can be sandy one day, a little stony the next.
